To this day, I'm still confused as to why the Kalos starters, the starters of the generation that introduced mega evolution, never got megas. I'd argue they are the most deserving to get one of their own.
Because megas are supposed to breed new life into old Pokémon, I guess they could have gotten them in oras though, also why are they the most deserving.

@@emmanuelzermeno1588 Wrong, actually that's only true for pokemon that are not ready for it. We've never seen a mega suffer from it except for Korrinas Lucario in the anime which wasn't apparently ready to mega evolving. It trained for it and became able to mega evolve without any kind of issue

Yeah having a mega luxray could make the pokemon more better in general and competitively since luxray already got good attack and sp attack and okay speed, the evolution could boost its attack, special attack, and speed to be good and the rest of the point to be spreaded equally to its other stats

FINALLY someone giving just some justice to my boy Luxray. Luxray is my all time favorite pokemon and I still CaN't believe he never got a mega or even his well deserved dark typing. This video was awesome! I really enjoyed watching It

I think Rapidash as a mega would be cool. It gains flaming wings and becomes flying fire type. Many with the drought ability.
I love your list! I would add Raichu to that as well, it being the evolution of the mascot Pokemon, would’ve definitely given it some love. Just like how they gave them an Alola form

For gen 6 I would loved a Goodra ME and gen 7 a Lycanroc with 3 different forms, X, Y and Z forms. Otherwise I love all your other picks
Mega Rapidash becomes a Fire/Flying type with Magic Guard to block Stealth Rock and recoil from Flare Blitz and Wild Charge. Every stat except its HP and Special Attack would be raised.

love the art for mega luxray and I'm glad you didn't select strong jaw for it's ability...if you ask me though I came up with an ability that would've countered talonflame's gale wings ability (although the nerf was much needed) I called it Volt rush, gives priority to electric type moves... imagine pairing an ability like that with thunder fang or wild charge

Weavile and Zoroark remind me of 3 swords that are wielded by Kirito. Red Rose, Blue Rose and Night Sky. As Well as the Incarnation battle in Sao 3 Episode 24. Well Blue Rose was Eugeo's 1st but he's in a better place now R.I.P. :( Now the Blue Rose is with disabled Kirito in the trailer for upcoming episodes. Heads up if you folks have seen it yet.

That Mega Luxray looks so cool! Really wish it was part Dark type. And Arcanine has never looked so majestic! I love it!
Mega Raichu ability: electro burst it’s where Electric type moves have multiple attacks I mean like it hits more than one time like double slap Typing: electric and dark/light depends on the gender female:dark Male:light And it learns a new move Electric overload its a move where the move is like a overload of energy shot out and it can be used by being hit by an electric move or risking the chance if fainting from the overload of energy but it’s super elective on any typing but it can’t move Raichu can’t move for 2 turn and the Pokémon the attack is used on is instantly paralyzed no matter the typing.

i think megas are related to pokemon species kind of like how galade got a mega in ORAS and how there is a theory that the gibble and sharpido line are connected and mega evolutions help support that,
the only pokemon that i think ruin this hypothesis is frostlass as glailead has a mega but then again, gen 4 remakes are coming and maybe megas are with them

You can still speak of mega evolutions, even if it's going away for the Galar region. We will hopefully have Kalos remakes to look forward to at some point! But I would like Daimond, Pearl, and Platinum remakes first! More megas would be awesome! The more the merrier! 😜

I want mega Zorawark mainly because it’s counter part got one (lucario) I think it’s would be a dark and maybe dragon or rock. I would say butterfree too but it got a giganticamax form
Mega Evolution works against Zoroark though.
Zoroark's trademark is its Illusion ability, but not every Pokémon can Mega Evolve, so either you Mega Evolve and break the illusion by swapping your ability and/or indicating that you've Mega Evolved or sit don't and lose the opportunity to make good use of a Mega because Zoroark is normally frail.
At the very least, Z-Moves and Dynamax work best for Zoroark because they don't take away from its specialty.

Mega sinnoh starters same typing but some cool abilities
Mega/Primal:
Palkia- 30 boost on both attacks, 20 on both defenses.
Abilty: Space Shredding: Upon Palkia reaches half of it's HP, Space distortions prevent the next opponents move from hitting, including moves that never miss.
Signature: Distorted Space, one target 120power 90accuracy special attack move that breaks all Screens, Rooms and protective moves (like aurora veil, Protect and trick room)
Dialga- 30 boost on both defenses, 20 on both attacks.
Abilty: Time control: Dialga nullifies every change on the speed Stat of any pokemon in the battle as long as it's in battle as well, this includes boosts from items like choice scarf and moves like trick room.
Signature: Time stop, for the next turn, only Dialga (therefore it's trainer) will be able to take action, can only be used once in a battle and takes effect immediately after Dialga uses it, meaning if it attacks first, the opponent won't be able to do anything that same turn.
Giratina- Altered form: 30 boost on both defenses, 10 on both attacks and 20 on speed.
Ability: Distortive pressure, nullifies immunities of opponents (like ghost being immune to fighting) and decreases the damage of super effective hits of ALL pokemon in battle.
Origin form: 30 boost on both attacks, 10 on both defenses and 20 on speed.
Ability: Pure Distortion, apart of providing Giratina with Levitation, it applies Contrary to every pokemon including itself (not changing it's ability to Contrary, but instead for example if an opponent uses dragon dance, it will lower it's attack and speed)
Signature: Matter Degeneration, traps the enemy pokemon for 8 turns damaging it for 1/14 of it's HP each turn. During such effect healing moves will only heal half of the total hp they would usually heal.
For Giratina to alter between the 2 forms and still mega evolve or go Primal, you would either make Griseous Orb an item like the Gracidea for shaymin (which is the best option in my opinion) or make it it's Primal required item (like the red and blue orbs for groudon and Kyogre) the Griseous orb and do the same to the other 2 with their respective orbs, while having another item or requirement for changing it's form.
Mega halucha: flying and steel type: but the move he has makes him a steel type and buff by 10% nerfs by 30% and XP 52%
#1: Mega Raichu so first off he would be almost as tall as greninja he would be electric and fighting and he would look a bit like lucario and he would have claws that would look like weaviles claws and his tail would be like a sword.
#2: Mega Excadrill so he would have his defense and speed increase Excadrill would have his claws like if they were rectangle shields they would be powerful enough to block a fully powered flamethrower and dragon rush. And his types would stay the same.
#3: Mega Gengar Y so gengar would grow wings and pretty much look like a charizard and his tail would be longer and instead of the tip having fire it would be a shadow.
I don't think we will ever get new megas

I would want a Mega Flygon. I’m sure it’s stats were good in Gen 3, but it’s highest stats, 100 in both speed and physical attack, just doesn’t cut it anymore. It’s well overdue for a buff. At least Levitate is still helpful.
You know Game Freak doesn't listen to fans when fans loved Mega Evolution to death and practically begged for more, and then they just decide to scrap the feature.
No, its because Gamefreak realized they cannot balance the mechanic anymore, because they messed up the concept by giving it to some Pokemon that didn't need them (Lucario, Psuedo's, Legendaries). So they HAD to ditch them, because giving every fully evolved mon acces to Mega Evolution defeats the purpose of the mechanic.

@@RM-56 And that is my argument: Without giving Mega's to every fully evolved mon, you cannot balance the mechanic (Unless they are only given to those who need them, which means you need to take Mega Evolution away from Pokemon like Legendaries, Lucario and Psuedo legendaries).

One thing we need to agree on is that mega evolutions are the best mechanics along with duo batles that The Pokémon Company created.
The mega evolution I'd like is mega Flygon: Dragon-Bug with either keeping levitate or a bug pixilate/galvanize/refrigerate/aerilate with high special attack using Dragon Pulse/Draco Meteor, Hyper Voice or Beam, Earth Power and something else as what could be the main moveset

I want a mega dusknoir. It would be ghost/electric type, it would have tv antennas sticking out of it and would have the ability that I made up flashing bolt, which causes all electric type attacks to lower accuracy. Also, it causes tv interference
Mega Elekible is the must choice. And Shigeru should be able to mega evolve it with bond phenomenon just like Satoshi does with his Gekkouga.

I kinda wanted to see a Mega Torterra X and Mega Torterra Y concept.
Mega Torterra X will now become Grass/Rock having the ability Solid Rock that reduces super effective damage.
Stats proiritizied are huge offensive stat boost.

Mega Torterra Y will also become Grass/Rock with the ability Thick Fat which reduce Fire and Ice type damage.

Personally I would love Mega Evolved Lycanroc. It'd be cooler if they combined aspects of the Dawn and Dusk forms as well for the evolution, with the combined colors of both, but the much more furry and wolf-like coat of Dusk, and the upright stance of Dawn. The edginess would be removed from Dawn, and a more noble and heroic light, similar to his Dusk form, would be in place. However, the brutality of Dawn would make its way into the fighting style, so some of the Dawn's edginess remains. Also, I like to think that this Pokemon would be a ground/dark type, as it would help make the Pokemon a whole lot stronger.
