I was lucky enough to see Mercyful fate on their last tour in the late 90ies at the Dynamo open air festival. They had a pretty short show but still...they played this song.
Such an iconic song from an awsome band. R.I.P. Timi Hansen. Could never get into King Diamond but Mercyful Fate is awsome. Too bad they are dormant sense 9 came out.
LOVE this song!!!!.... Great job guys!!!... I use this album cover as my Facebook avatar...lol... I painted this album cover on so many denim vests....lol
Bro, that's definitely pro-shot with multiple camera angles. Pro-shot with a potato camera from 1987 or something. Cameras you'd carry to your son/daughters school play back in the day. But definitely some pros behind the potatoes. *edit - video says 1984 so potato with spuds*
Can never go wrong with King Diamond and MF. If you guys like king diamond, do a reaction to Eidolon, a Canadian band, check out their cover. Eidolon was started by the Drover brothers (Megadeath) and they hired Nils K. Rue (Pagans Mind) on vocals. The cover is "The Oath". Wow, that is really old school. Classic song. Speaking of birthdays... Abigail's birthday is next Tuesday... and so is mine. Remember to listen to "The 7th Day of July 1777".
Every 7th July I listen to Abigail in its entirety, it is a tradition of mine. Just turn off the lights, turn up the volume and get lost in the atmosphere of the story. Every year, without fail. Great release that takes you on a journey.
Melissa and Don't Break the Oath are masterpieces 😁🤟
In my opinion so is Fatal Portrait, Abigail, Them, Conspiracy, and The Eye. HM to Spiders Lullabye
Amazing song! One of the most unique vocalists and Denner-Sherman, my favourite guitar duo could never go wrong live. Great video guys!
They had miniVHS recorders back then. The video was pieced together with 3 VHS camcorders.

Whoever synched the song to that old live performance did a phenomenal job!!

FUCKING GREAT SONG, memories... Hey man, remember "Nuns have no fun" and the black&white cover?
One of the best Mercyful Fate songs of all time is Gypsy! If everyone started with this song they would appreciate his vocals from the rip
I saw KD in Salt Lake City back in November, the show he puts on is fantastic! His voice has improved a lot since he quit smoking.
Remember is going back to live , HELLLLLLLL YEAHHHHHHHHHH 🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾🤘🏾
A classic. 🤘
You should check out swedish Bombus - Human Beings, it's incredible!
Hail the King !!!!!!
Mercyful Fate is, with Thin Lizzy. the closest I`ll get to religion.
Awesome ¡¡¡
Mercyful Fate is the best 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Cameras weren't massive and it's not hard to make a space for a camera. This was probably filmed on 3/4 tape.
Long live Maestro King Diamond

Orbit Culture has released a new song called Open Eye!!
So since we're on throwbacks and 80s heavy metal, what about some Savatage? It seems like a glaring omission not to have them at all.
It is coming this month.
@@APREACTS Hoo boy. Looking forward to that. Thanks!
Say what you want but King has always managed to play with the best musicians
There is no excuses for you now, ypu must react to Kingdom of Heaven live by Epica. Someone do good job, live footage and studio audio. Thanks ;)
Can you react to Manowar more? :) for example Believe? And maybe some Nightwish - lips are still red?
