Hopefully it isn't too noticeable, but I'm pretty sure the audio is all over the place in this one. As usual, lots of stuff in the works and I'll be following up with more information about the various things I hinted at as they get further along!
So far everything has made a massive difference. I had my grey and red V8 Vantages side-by-side for a couple years - both '07 manuals, but the grey one was heavily modified while the red one started off stock and then was lightly modified. It was a huge difference going from one car to the other. The stock (or mostly stock) red one felt like a tractor compared to my grey one.
Hi there! Thanks for all the great and informative videos! In a previous video you mentioned that you had a sagging headliner from driving with your windows down. I have unfortunately now been struck by this problem in my 2007. I believe you said you were planning a video on how to address this? Very interested to see how you went about fixing it!
the throttle bodies are stupid expensive - if you buy them as an Aston Martin part, but they are a Bosch manufactured and used on several other cars - much cheaper, different diameter models have the same internals throttle response is not a problem of the throttle body, it is a problem of the ECU management, it needs to be reflashed for faster response
We have twin intake so why didn't they do twin throttle body like the new C8 Corvette... Uhmm wonder if someone could print a 3D version of it to fit our engine :-)
It'd have been too costly and complex for the production V8 Vantage. People have attempted it over the years to varying degrees of success, but as of yet it hasn't been viable.
I believe Bamford Rose sells a twin throttle body intake but they are very selective on to who they sell it to... anyway, is only worth it if you are really trying to get every last HP out of your 4.7L.
I kept the factory throttle body but just ported it out. It was only ~2mm difference at the largest point, but also smoothed out and polished the bore.
@@Redpantslol what was your improvement? I have jag with 4.2 I upgraded my throttle body to F-Type Throttle body and had Maxbore to bore it. Just trying to see if you had to get tune after?
@@personalprivilege6992 the change was minimal - the car has so much done to it, especially the supercharger, that something small like this wouldn't be noticable. Just a small, incremental thing that's part of the bigger picture. Iv done so much with this car that I'm now just doing little things to eek out whatever benefits I can.

Awesome. I like that you work on your own engines . No biggie
Be great to see how all of these little bits come together ultimately

They make a cleaner for electric devices like alternator and contacts and safe for plastic
Any power difference?
I think these videos should always start with what you're drinking.
On mustang gt 350 i use pedal max it makes throttle response 100xs better
Totally agree with throttle response. My turbo TT ferls much sharper.
