I can't believe the turnaround!!
Outstanding would be an understatement!! BTW excellent camera work on the close shots of the graphene. 🐢
Sometimes I wish you could post your customers reaction. They had to be amazed.
Thinking the same thing. Would love to see your customers reactions, especially on projects like this one.
Wow that turned out amazing. I think that’s the best looking detail result I’ve seen on UA-cam. Amazing work!
To The Max Wax really took the paint to the next level, I was taken back when you brought it outside. I'm with you. my Truck is coated and I miss waxing it; When my coating wears out I think I'm going back to waxing.
Chelsea this was another top-notch video and I bet your customer was as blown away as you were. The bottom line for me is that the Once and Done, the Max Wax, and Flex are now my go-to products. It was great seeing you validate my decision. I don't even consider this retail anymore, these products are a PRO line product just as Turtle Wax claimed. And like Brian at APEX said it is a business decision to use the best product that is also cost-effective and I was totally blown away by the product and the incredible pricing. Thank you.
Awesome work, looks like its an awesome product, Chelsea doing another great job
I floored too! Part 2, it’s a fantastic end result! TW has great products and you did a great job!
I showed a still picture of the car outside from the end of the video to my wife and she commented that it looked like it had just off the showroom floor. Well done!
Wow, just wow! Very impressive! Thank you so much for reviewing these products! I’ve been a huge fan of the Hybrid Solutions line and was excited to see how these played out. We have a household of 5 black vehicles. Man if I can get them to look anything like this I’d be thrilled! Thank you again for the great content Chelsea!
Chelsea, I’ve subbed to your channel for 7-8 months now, and I must say it’s been a joy to watch you grow considerably in your skills as a detailer, videographer, and instructor. Looking forward to seeing much more from you! Thank you for all of your hard work!
Thank you!
Nicely done Chelsea 👍😁
That outside shot is as good as I’ve ever, ever seen on any car. Great job Chelsea and Turtle Wax seems to have hit this one out of the park....
I've done the TW Graphene on a number of cars and I really like the hand application for the top coat. MAD RESPECT FROM EAST LONG BEACH 💯
Thanks for the video.
When applying any type of synthetic wax for the first time esp on dark paintworks indoors under any type of artificial lighting, its always advisable to try it on a test area first as many waxes are prone to leave behind uneven patches of oily smudges which are only obvious outdoors in direct sunlight.
In your video above, the issue was very obvious when you started to slide your work stool at 9:18, and the issue on lower part of door continues to be obvious until 9:24
Very long ago, Meguiars No26 wax (unknown by many “detailers) had this issue, sporadically, in hot tropical climates. Same applies to highly hydrophobic synthetic waxes with insane water beading from Japan.
Turtle Wax has definitely stepped up its game in recent years. I would had never purchased this brand years ago and now it's like my go to product. Kiddos and thumbs up to them!
This was a great video, and amazing results thank you so much for taking the time and the hard work to show us the new turtle wax line up....Keep up the good work.
Wow!! Impressive. I cant believe the shine. Great work!!!
Radical! Yes you are a radical! Most guys I know don't "read" anything much less the instruction on the back of a product package. Most of us don't have that gene. Maybe you can teach us all a lot. Your enthusiasm is genuine and Turtle Wax must love you. Great post. Look forward to many more. I've never tried that wiping off the wax with a damp cloth method. I will give it a try soon. Thanks. Yet another great video. Another radical thing you do? Sell your channel with your "competence" not your sex appeal. That's great.
☺ thank you so much!
Turtle wax has come a long way since the little green and white tub . Game changer for so . Great video.
Wow! I'm impressed.. I have this kit, and was going to ask if a dedicated fine finishing polish would be better, but I think the results answered my question .. Thank you so much for the video..
WOW! At first glance I would have thought you had coated it with a full blown coating like Gyeon Pure EVO or McKees 37 graphene coating. The gloss was insane. Now I want to try the Max wax on a panel on my truck that already has CQuartz SiC. 🤪
Great video! The footage of the car outside in the natural light made your work look amazing! Great work!
Great 2 videos Chelsea! I’ve used these on the last 2 details and I gotta say this Max Wax is slicker than Black Ice from The Last Coat I have on my car. I’ll be putting the TW Pro products on all 3 of my vehicles soon!
That shine is incredible
wow! looks amazing. I'm a big fan of the Turtle.
Chelsea, The Tesla Came out great, For years I have heard that the Tesla Paint can be difficult to work with, but looks like Turtle Wax made it look easy. I will be applying the TW HSPG to my vehicles soon once the pollen slows down.
i just used this over the weekend i dont know if i did it right lol, but wow i was impressed, did the max wax first waited a few hrs then did the flex, then it rained 2 days later it was nice to see the water just roll off my truck, and pratically dry and i drove lol
That was a great turnaround. Whats your opinion on the Tesla paint? Don't see alot around here. I bet your happy with that nice warm garage now! Your stand up light look good too. Great video.
I actually love working on Teslas. No weird body lines, easy to correct but not as difficult as some GM paints. Plus having a massive sunroof means theres less to polish. 😉
Awesome results from start to finish. Looking forward to trying their new line when it warms up. Great review!
Another great knowledge filled video
I watched both videos and wow, it was awesome! I wish a had a garage so I can do detailing all year round; still need to wait until April. Stay safe!
Wow, the finished product was amazing! Great job!
I contacted TW to see if its best to use max wax or flex spray first, they said typically it is best to use Flex spray as a base coat. After seeing this I’m conflicted. Should I layer the Max wax on top of the Flex then maintain with Flex? TIA looks stunning 🤩
Great video I learned a lot thank you
How long did you leave the wax on before removing?
Till it dries to a haze. I did the whole vehicle then removed
Hi Chelsea. Nice review yet again. Any issues with this getting on the plastics or trims while applying to the paint?
Great work! Great video!
Its very good I used it but I found if used a DA get better results
Super, biegnę do sklepu nabyć ten specyfik. Rewelacja
I hope you got a big high 5 and a generous tip for exceeding expectations!
Wow I'm stunned awesome work!!
The paint looked great in your garage, but it was absolutely STUNNING outside!!! I've tried the Seal & Shine/Ice Spay Wax combo and the Ceramic Acrylic Black Polish/Wax combo. How long can I resist the Hybrid Solutions Pro series??? :-) GREAT VIDEO!!!
I'm sold! Thank you for the demo!
That is lovely what is the tyre dressing used great finish 👍
Carpro Perl
Good video. Did you do an IPA wipe?
Wooowww!!! Hope u got a tip!!
Going through the YT videos, again, to try to figure out the difference between the MAX WAX Liquid 14oz ~$30 and the FLEX WAX 23oz ~$25. Pan used the Compound followed by FLEX WAX as the base. He explainied MAX WAX as an option for those who prefer a liquid. You used the compound follow by MAX WAX as the base and you describe the FLEX WAX as having less durability. Guess I'll watch a few more videos.
Awesome video. Nice singing too. Where would glazes and or sealants go in the process, if at all? I have the One & Done, To the Max Wax and the Flex wax I use after each wash. But I'm wondering if after the To the Max Wax another layer of protection like Chemical Guys Jet Seal or Butter Wet Wax or any other coating is useful/necessary. Or if that's just wasting time and effort. Thanks again for your videos. Very helpful.
I haven’t tested topping them but that might be overkill as you then are having the topper be your form of protection and they are more short term so personally I wouldn’t top the to the max wax with anything other than the flex wax every few months and if you’re using the flex wax every wash I’m not sure if you even need the other protection. But then again if you enjoy doing it there’s no harm technically so do what works for you!
Beautiful cant wait to try it
After a year, what are your thoughts on it?
Sun 🌞 conditions
How is it innthe sun application?
Beautiful result. Thanks for sharing. You recommended a polish before using this wax? I'm picking up a new car next week and want to do it right. I'm thinking wash, check paint and clay if needed (probably not but I'll check anyway) then sealant, then the wax? Any suggestion?
Great video as always!
Very good!! Chelsea are you going to make a video about TW Flex Wax?
Yes hopefully soon.
came out amazing.
Very thick application there...
Stunning!!
What pad do you use with the One and Done?
This range of turtle wax product is landed UK tomorrow would you recommend them.
Yes. Very impressive if you're looking for a polish and protection
I started my detail business in 1982 and wish we had anything close to this.
I used Rally Wax in the beginning being it was my best option at the time , this here is 🔥
Will introduce it to my shop next week. 👍
Chelsea ..... really enjoy your videos and all the information you share. I have a question: I have a new truck on order and plan on using the new Turtle Wax Hybrid products. My question is, will I get the same protection if I use the spray product instead of the liquid? Which ever I use I planned on using the spray product for maintenance. Thank you again for your videos 🤠
You may not get as much durability or longevity but it will be similar attributes you just might have to apply the graphene Spray Wax more frequently
@@attention2detailswchelsea Thank you .... that’s what I was thinking just wanted your opinion 🤠
ran across your channel in a fb group, awesome work. i have the flex wax and now the 1 and done compound on the way. i have never used a da polisher so it will be nice to teach myself. my question is im wanting to get the technicians choice ceramic detailer spray. does the flex wax need a cure time before i use the technian as a topper ?
Not sure what the exact time but most products like that are 12-24 hrs ideally before topping but since it’s not a true coating I’d say give it 4 hrs minimum.
@@attention2detailswchelsea ty :)
Any idea of the longevity/durability?
8-12 months is what Ive heard, 12+ if properly maintained and topped with their Flex graphene spray wax
Great Videos. Should I wait 24 hours between the 1 and Done and the Pro to the Max Wax? Thanks for any information.
No the polish has no sealant in it so you can apply to the max wax right after polishing
@@attention2detailswchelsea Thanks for the quick reply. This is my first try at something like this.
You owe it to yourself to go back 24 hours later after it has "gassed out" and hit it again with a clean micro Fibre, it will really pop. Good luck!!!
Can you spray water right on the car when you wipe it off instead of on the towel?
The damp towel method would be be better as it wouldn’t be so concentrated
Thanks
What pad did you find worked the best with the One and Done?
Yellow foam pad
Sorry if I missed it in the video but how does this polish do if you hit plastic with it? Does it turn white?
Id try to avoid trim if possible but it was easily removed with a polish remover
Can I polish a brand new Jeep with their platelet stuff, then put two layers of armor shield IX ceramic the. Put this on top of it a couple days later? I’ve never detailed anything before
I wouldnt recommend topping a coating with this but havent tried it. Thats where the flex spray wax would be better as the to the max wax is meant to be the base coat. You might have issues with streaking if your coating products are fully cured. Turtle wax might be able to better answer that question.
Have you tried wiping this product off with something like Beadmaker?
Could you have taken off the to the max wax with the spray wax instead of the cloth moistened with water?
No there would have been too many high spots and streaking
Would you still recommend this product, or is there now easier/better? (in your opinion)
Personally I enjoy car therapy from time to time and if you do as well then yes I’d recommend it but if you want something easier then I would recommend Griots Ceramic 3-in-1 wax
Yoga pants and a ball cap....looking good!
Do you know of a good cordless polisher?
This is one I’ve been enjoying lately: amzn.to/3YVGtCp
what is the name of the grits polish to use before applying this?
I used the One and Done Polish from Turtle Wax to polish this vehicle.
magnifique
Did you do 1 coat
Yes
Was it ok to move the car outside before being completely cured?
Yes it was fine. It just needs to stay dry for 12 hours
Please for the love of G-D, can someone tell me, *WAS THERE A TAMPER PROOF SEAL ON THE BOTTLE* I bought the whole set in Amazon, bottle came squeezed and half empty... so dit the other bottle... only the spay I think was new...
*SO IN SHORT, DO THESE HAVE A TAMPER SEAL TO BE REMOVED, OR DO THEY COME LIKE THIS?*
Had the white tamper proof seal on mine
@@attention2detailswchelsea Thanks for the quick reply!
i"m returning it to amazon... it was shipped from the Lexington, KY location and that is the return center. I was hoping to get it direct from turtle wax, but they are mostly sold out. They have some stuff left.
Anyway,thanks for letting me know!
can the polish be applied by hand also?
Yes but dont expect as much defect removal
@@attention2detailswchelsea thanks. great content btw I subbed!
What pad do you like to use with the One and Done?
Normally their yellow pad
Thanks you just cost me some
Money.
💩 That was an incredible transformation. Can’t wait to try it out.
Great job. I would follow that person home then use your kids super soakers and hit it with water. Just for science...lol. its to cold in S W. PA ...Its 12 degrees out and getting ready for another snow storm so the water would be ice. Keep up the great work
It calls for pea sized drops not dime/nickle sized. The product that's being applied is way to thick and that's why you're having so much trouble try to remove the residue. The old saying is "Less is More" and the applies to paste or liquid wax.
Curious how you can recommend Max Wax based strictly on just the look alone. A lot of products leave a great look. What about longevity and chemical resistance and hydrophobic properties? That's what you're paying for. Not to take away from the great job you did.
Take it from a detailer that has used TW Graphene on multiple vehicles over an extended period of time, I would be very surprised if you didn't get at least 6 months of excellent results especially if you keep it out of the car wash.
@@stevelangsdorf7307 It's been 2 years and I used the product as a sacrificial lamb layer on my graphene coated vehicles to make the coating last longer. It does the job and amps up the shine. I find in the Ohio winter months the lower panels take a beating and that part of the vehicles doesn't hold up very long from the pounding they take and the spray version is handy to reapply after washes on nice days in the winter. Thumbs up on shine and as a sacrificial lamb layer. My vehicles NEVER go to Swirl Machine car washes.
1st from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
Watch later going to drive home.
You don't get the same shine and gloss from the spray on product. Not happy at all with the spray on. There are better products on the market in spray much easier to apply form.
Nice :-)
I put this "Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Pro To The Max Wax" on my brand new Tesla model 3.
Tried on one panel section, applied, wipe wet micro fiber towel, buffed dry micro fiber towel: shiny and very very slick. Then applied to the whole car happily. Then applied to my Camry. Both cars looked sparkle and slick.
I left the car in the garage for a full day. The next day it had dust attracted to it.
When wiped the dust with my finger it leaves serious swirl marks on the paint, even at places where there is no dust.
Then I waited another half day and washed the Model 3. To my surprise the slickness is gone.
I feel really stupid for trusting advertisers on UA-cam. Many of them.
I ruined my 3 days old Tesla Model 3 AWD.
I reached out to Turtle Wax asking them how to remove this stuff off my car. No results so far.
Please don't trust this product.
What did you wash it with? And did you do a panel prep wipe after polishing to remove the polishing oils?
Seems like teslas dont have that good a paint job, not very glossy paint. The wax itself is very good though as i have used it and know.
They have awful paint but oddly enough I like the challenge and they are some of my favorite to work with
typica turtle wax products, hard to wipe off average results
No singing?
Maybe next time. 😂
12 month review
Thisisbullshit. It disappear from the car after one month
