He Pan, You are making my live a bit difficult :-) I was totally convinced to use the new Turtle Wax Graphene infused Flex wax. And i still am. But it is impossible to get this in the Netherlands. Also shipping to Netherlands is impossible. So i follow you advise to use Turtle wax Seal N Shine. But this is also impossible to find/buy here.
Do you have any advice? Or you jump on the bike to bring me some bottles?

@@PanTheOrganizer Pan, would you recommend this Turtle Wax graphene product over the 303 nano graphene? Hi Pan: Here is some follow-up info on my 2020 black Velar. About 3 weeks ago I posted my detailed prep for applying the Graphene flex wax. Here are my latest findings. It does go on very easily, but I'm amazed how little you need on the applicator. As I went along I applied less and less to minimize streaking and a rainbow effect. I eventually had to level it off with my rag company small waffle weave towel which was rinsed with warm water and tightly wrung out.
The car after application looked blacker and the shine deeper. That part was great. After a week or so, I noticed that the car had a lot of dust sticking to the body, hood mostly but also the doors and quarter panels. I found that it rinsed off very easily and pretty much back clean. A week later I washed the car with Adams (blue)car shampoo and Trinova foam cannon and then prior to wiping down with my Gauntlet towel, I sprayed 2 very light mists per panel and then did a drop and drag to dry. This worked very well with minimal streaking. I the releveled with my damp waffle weave towel.
The paint was very, very smooth. But again after a few days road dust accumulated on the body. So I washed off again, and all the dust came right off. For the heck of it, I decided to try the Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick detailer as a top coat. Well I thought it was slick with the Turtle Wax Flex Wax, but with the Chemical guys detailer on top the slickness is absolutely insane. The car absolutely feels like polished glass and the hydrophobic properties are stunning. It is raining today here in Connecticut and while driving the water beads fly off the car while driving and the care appears dry where the rain blew off. By far this is the best combination so far.

Based on your video I applied a base coat (dry) and then a second coat (wet) to my new Audi Q7 (Navarra Blue). Nothing underneath the TW but made sure all surfaces were absolutely clean beforehand. I found the base coat somewhat difficult to buff off, but it was hot in the garage and perhaps I applied too much. Did need to use a damp microfiber towel to take off some high spots. Let the base coat cure for 24 hours, then applied the second coat - deionized water with a couple of spritzes of TW per panel. This went more smoothly. After letting this cure for another 24 hours, the paint is very slick and the TW has hardened. Also used this on the wheels, trim, and glass. The water here in Arizona is very hard, so wanted to try this instead of ceramic coating because of water spots. So far so good.

The best way to apply Flex wax as a drying aide is to use two or three sprays on the wet panel and then SPRAY INTO A DAMP MICROFIBER CLOTH and wipe it into the panel to get full coverage. Then dry as usual with another towel. No High spots. No streaks. I saw this on another UA-cam channel and it is revolutionary. I love the idea of Flex Wax but it was a nightmare to put on. This technique makes the product usable again. You can spray more onto the panel and not have to worry about high spots. So glad I found that trick.

Hi Pan, tried the TW Hybrid Solutions Graphene Flex Wax, however for me it was a disappointment in terms of applications.
Here is how I went through: 1. Washed the car, 2. Iron decon, 3. Another decon wash (Carpro Decon), 4. Dried the car 5. Two sprays per panel on a microfiber applicator. Started with the hood (cold surface, not in direct sun), after applying it, without waiting time tried to buff off the product with a microfiber towel. It was impossible, the product dried out within seconds (cold surface, no direct sun) and no chance to buff off nor to remove the product / streaks even with more pressure to the microfiber towel. For me the only possibility to use it, was in combination with ONR rinsless wash. Meaning: Applying the product, than the towel with the ONR solution and than another towel for buffing off.
Mostlikely I did something wrong, but no clue what... Many thanks to you or to anybody else for any advices / suggestions!

@@JWL-UK Nah I'd say what they accomplished with this product is revolutionary. The fact that they're the first to incorporate pure graphene in their product alone changes the standard for a relatively new detailing technology, but being easy to use in a spray form and having pretty much all of the benefits of their previous products sets them ever further ahead than the competition. I'm curious to see the chemical resistance tests, real-world durability, and the water-spotting resistance (probably the biggest gripe with ceramic coatings), but if all the claims they make here are true, this is a game changer.

I tried the Graphane Flex Wax a few times and it makes the surface super slick with great gloss and durability. One thing I noticed though, it attracts dust and leaves spots after a rain. For this aspect, I get much better results with carnauba-based sprays like Pinnacle Souveran Spray wax and Chemical Guys Banana Spray Wax leaving the car cleaner for a much longer period.

Hi Pan: About a year ago I purchased a 2020 all blacked out Velar, which I have written about to you many times over the past year. I knew enough that an all black vehicle is tough to keep looking good. So I went to youtube and found your channel. I have to say, I really enjoy your channel the most.
Well anyway, I have purchased a lot of the products you have recommended, from The Rag Company to all the different cleaning and maintenance products. I have been using the Turtle wax products for the past year, mostly the SIO2 based products. I have been topping them off with The Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer, with very satisfying results. My car stayed cleaner much longer.
Recently after your review of the new Turtle Wax Flex Graphine spray wax, I purchased it. I try to follow all your steps for prep as best I can, I don’t have a buffer, yet. So I power washed my car first, including the under carriage. Then I used my Trinova foam cannon with the Adams (blue) Car Shampoo. I let it dwell for a few minutes then I resprayed it again and let it dwell. I power washed it off. Then I refilled my buckets with another solution of Adams Car Wash and using my Rag Company microfiber mitts, I started at the top and worked my way down. I ended up cleaning my tires next, (yes I know you do the tires first), using my new microfiber deep wheel brushes and a small lug nut brush to get into the crevices. Then I let the car drip off the excess water for a few minutes and then applied the Adams Iron remover. To my surprise, I had very little purple show up on the hood, sides and wheels. Then I power washed the iron remover off. Since I have never ran this vehicle through a car wash and I have been following your tips and tricks, I don’t have any swirlies, just a few light spider lines. I then used my oversized Gauntlet drying towel in a drop and drag method, following up with a the waffle weave towel where necessary. Now the fun begins. I used my Rag Company microfiber applicator and sprayed 2 sprays on the applicator to prime and then 2 quick sprays per panel and applied in a crosshatch pattern. I started with the hood , waited about 30 seconds to a minuet and buffed off with my Eagle Edgeless towel, then the Everest towel. After doing the whole car, I followed up with a damp waffle weave microfiber to level off. I did my black painted wells also.
Turning to the wheel portion of the cleaning, I used first Eagle wheel cleaner and the followed up with the Adams car wash and my wheel brushes. the I used my portable Adams hand held air blower to dry. Then to protect the wheels, i followed up with the 303 foam dressing applied by my wheel dressing applicator, I let that dry and the followed up with the 303 protectant. I found this method really keeps the tires looking clean and a moderate shine on the tires.I have to say this is definitely the best look my car ever looked.
Yesterday rained here in Connecticut, it rained. When I got home, I pulled into my garage and tried something new. I took out my Adams hand held off blower and I was amazed how well it blew off all the rain water. The car was pretty much dry only after 15 minutes. I checked the car again this morning and it look almost like I just washed it.
This is a great product and thanks to your tips and tricks, it really works, better than I anticipated. Thanks again for your help and advice, I hope more and more people subscribe and follow your channel!!!

Hehehe wow that was a pretty thorough explanation! Just keep in mind though, when applying products from different companies, and stacking them one on top of the other, it's hard to make sure you get chemical compatibility. If you don't machine polish the old protection off, nothing guarantees the new one will stick and bond properly, plus you might run in to streaking/hazing issues.
But if everything went well for you, good. Also thank you for the kind words I appreciate them!

But I've been using the ice wax and the yellow bottle ceramic T.W. drying aid. Where I am the ice line are under $10 and the ceramic line is under $20 and now this graphene line will be under $30. You get what you pay for and they all do a good job if not great job. They all are good quality and worth it. And that's why I'm a Turtle Wax fan.

The short answer: Durability comes as a standard for all these innovations, with that standard starting at Seal N Shine and building off of it with our other two spray waxes via their unique features.
If you’re eager to know more:
      - ICE Seal N Shine is the product that started it all in terms of a new standard of durability. It’s king when it comes to chemical resistance and it continues to be our benchmark for the toughest torture tests. Top it with ICE Spray Wax for a glossy shine.
      - Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating built upon Seal N Shine’s durability with ceramic enrichment. It’s best value for durable ceramic coating - seriously test us again those other little bottles of coatings - we bring more value and it’s WAYYY easier to use. Plus, it brings outstanding gloss and the slickest, smoothest finish. Maintain your coating with any of our other Hybrid Solutions Ceramic products like the Wash & Wax, Wet Wax or 3-in-1 Detailer.
      - And then for our new crown jewel - the Flex Wax. This is the most flexible for pro detailers using the latest & greatest technology. It’s a fully-loaded product that can be used dry or wet, and as a base coat or for maintenance. The secret sauce in this one comes down to the graphene it’s infused with, creating a durable tighter Web of Protection thanks to the substance’s unique behavior. It’s heat dispersion, water resistance, ultimate protection and shine, all in a single bottle - the application flexibility that true pro detailers crave.
Reach out with any further questions!

Waxing to me is a 'therapeutic ritual', usually carried out pre-winter (I prefer using weekly/fortnightly QDs in the spring/summer months)... To me, applying a coating would detract from that experience. I can see the advantages, and why people prefer coatings, I'm just not one of them 👍🏼

Polish as well as reasonable and with each washing and towel drying it will distribute and improve. Rinse but don't wash your drying towel and you will have a little supplement waxing with each drying. Keep it off of the front windshield to avoid wiper chatter. 3 months since I applied the base and it beads like it was applied yesterday.

I can tell you that the Hybrid Ceramic solutions spray Wax I used it on my vehicle with a single layer only and it was on March 2020. My vehicle was under daily sun outside, Saharian dust (registered the highest recorded 354 when years ago the highest recorded was 145), drought season during May and June, rains from July until first week of October and it was still beading when finally washed the second week of October 2020. I've been having issues with the flex wax streaking when i use it as a spray on wipe off, two sprays and it's usually pretty tough to buff off and always leaves minor hazing on the surface. It becomes tough to fully wipe off
I haven't tried it on an applicator pad yet or using a damp cloth but it was getting annoying.
I've used it as a spray on rinse off and if you use too much it tends to clump in spots, and builds a thick layer of wax that's tough to get out (guess that proves it's durability lol) but you're not wrong. Spraying too much on even as a wipe off can make it very difficult to use. Any tips?

I discovered the product thanks to this channel and its been incredible.
I spray the panels and let the water do the work and then use Wax and Dry
Its been impressive it seems like rain washes the car and in between washes the car still looks great

😁👍🏻 Thanks for sharing your personal experience.
Don’t forget that the first layer, the foundation coat, needs to be applied on dry paint. After that, maintenance is as simple as spray on, rinse off.

I just moved to Japan with a new car and have been contemplating if I should go to professional wash places due to time constraints but your channel has convinced me and motivated me to wash and take care of my own car the best way I know. Love your videos. Love this turtle wax hybrid product!
