Thanks for the great review. I've just bought one of these from my local Hyundai main dealer, I pick it up in a few days. It was awesome to test drive (and I even forgot to switch sport mode on). White with a black roof, roughly 6 months old and only has 121 miles on the clock. Hyundai Promise Approved so the 5 year warranty restarts. More than £4k cheaper than it would have been brand new! I'm upgrading from a 2017 Picanto GT-Line, which I've loved to bits, but this will be a serious upgrade for me.
For everyone listening about the mild hybrid and the power, the battery does not effect the performance and give it an extra 20hp, all i20s come with the 48v battery, the reason the i20 n line has 120bhp is just because of the ECU, they all have the same engine, just Hyundai allowed the i20 to produce a bit more power.
Moreover in the Netherlands for some reason the n-line with 6-speed manual has the 100hp version of the 1.0 TGDI, but if you have it with a DCT automatic it has the 120hp edition of the basicly same engine. Both mild hybrid. Weird.
I got my n-line in November and love it. Mine is the auto in red but doesn’t have the adaptive cruise but my mirrors have a blind spot section on them. Dislikes? Yes the dash is very plasticky but I don’t touch that. It sounds good drives well and I’m getting mid 40’s mpg so I’m happy
@@Boampong555 for starters I drove everything else in class before deciding on this. Yaris, fiesta, polo, 208, Ibiza. The only comparable one I would say is 208 Gt. the others don’t come close on looks or interior. I think that the drive is great in eco and when stuck in sport it does really have some punch (coming from an abarth 595 that was very quick). Just such a comfy drive with grey screens inside. It’s a pleasure to drive
@@blue_kx2030 appreciate the information…I’ve been waiting for this car since September and it’s here soon so I’ve been watching so many videos and I’m really glad you like it too
Does the engine feel responsive? Wonder if the N version may be better with extra poke. That said, the N looks more boy racer … prefer the N line styling. What is acceleration like N line owners?
Ik it’s a late response but, i drive in eco all the time for the fuel economy but it is still nippy in eco. Sport just gives extra throttle response but if you want power it can give you all you need and a bit extra.
Just purchased my one of these - picking up next week. Does anyone know what sound system they use for these? I heard it was Bose? 72 plate N-line (uk)
Do you have the N-Line or the actual N? I've been looking at getting the N-Line but my only concern is if the 1.0 litre engine can handle the occasional long journey with a few passengers without feeling slow and sluggish? How have you found the acceleration to be?

Good video but you didn't mention how comfortable it was to drive. What's it like on bumpy and uneven roads?
interested to know how the mild hybrid ( battery)helps with acceleration seeing as it doesn't drive a motor?

For those with a life the actual review starts around 3 minutes in…..

i20 n has 200hp, this is the n line in the video which has 120
what about 2023
Wtf was that gimmick with the dog, would it be so hard to give an estimation in liters, or gallons if you please ?!
