I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.

@@muniaisworthit focus on yourself so that you can impact lives don't just make money eat sleep and repeat, make sure you are adding value to somebody's life, look for a particular person in your area/ life to bless every now and then the commitment you was suppose to give your wife and kids, give 10% to each people you encounter, don't expect anything in return because people will fail you, they're human beings or join a non profitable organisation something like that so you figure things out and who knows you might be doing all of this genuinely from the bottom of your heart without expecting anything in return and you find your future wife, she too might be in the non profitable organisation and mind, you never know, have an open mind and take calculated risks hope for the best don't focus on the worst and um accept Jesus Christ today as your lord and saviour, he ll make your life worth living

Money is dirt or monopoly money?! 20-30= College stuff, dating but nothing past first or second dates! Guys too immature to date. Drunken parties. Job/Work getting in the way. Friends clubbing. And yes, sleeping around but that's okay, it's part of the process! 31-34 = Thought I met the right one but it didn't turn out to be the case and even harmed me a bit. 35-36= Took a well deserved break from all that (dating and finding someone so I could heal and focus on myself!). 37 = Met a Mr. Wrong again. 38 = My ex came back and stupid in love me, I took him back and that was a huge mistake to put it lighty! He even became a homeless drug addict! Oh God. 39= Still trying but no luck so far. Some people just have all the luck when it comes to finding someone stable and matured and responsible and caring! ....I am not this lady but maybe we have similiar stories!

I am a 40's single never married male. But I am sad about it. It's like it happened to me because I never learned interpersonal skills, not something I chose to do. It's hard and I am sad and scared to be old. All relationship types have been challenging and friendships are rare.
I feel the same as you but the best remedy its to work improving yourself and the rigth person will appear
Trust me I'm a woman and I can totally relate. I struggle with social anxiety and prefer to hide at home. I can do fine and feel happier not interacting with people.

Western society is cruel and unforgiving to men that are socially awkward. They get treated like creeps (although there's nothing creepy about lacking social astuteness). I have a cousin who is on the spectrum. Despite being a good looking guy and earning good money, he has never had a real girlfriend. It has really angered me seeing how women treat him. Socially awkward women are just seen as quirky. Unfortunately as men, all the burden is on is to make things happen. All women really have to do is not get heavy and be somewhat pleasant acting. Hope you find some happiness. If you can afford it, may I recommend touring a SE Asian country like Phillipines or Thailand...
You gotta get out there and meet as many as you can. Strength in numbers, eventually you’ll find a good one…
Two sets of single folks out there....one set got married had kids, bought house good career, raised families and it just never worked out, other set just never had the opportunity to get that far or wasn't interested....just be happy with where you are in life, you can't go back and undo nothing and you can't sell yourself cheap just because you feel like your missing out.

The list doesn't matter. Why should any man be okey with a "fresh" wife of 40y or more? I get why it works for men. Never had a wife, not even a girlfriend, but at 40 you have a stable income, pension plan, good place to live you own. What does the woman bring? You dont need her income, she ain't going to give you kids and if she us 40 , then the chance of her becoming a stay at home wife is zero. There is the sex of course , but that you can get from any woman any age without getting married

This is for 40 year old women to throw their lists away. At that point I think their only option is to date men 60 years and up. Most men, who take care of themselves, in their 50's and under will aim for women in their 20's and 30's. Mostly 20's and early 30's to be honest.

The sadness of being lonely is weighing on me so bad. I want companionship. My mind is bussing and I’d love to have someone to talk to about things and debate topics… exchanging ideas and being adventurous… I want this so bad. It hurts to not be chosen. Can I give you an advice?
Go out and make a friend. Challenge yourself to do everything you'd like to do with a partner, but with friends! Especially having fun, support, conversation, adventure. Believe me friendship is the true gym of love.
You are seen, and you are going to choose and be chosen.
Seek therapy and invest in yourself, you will find a normal guy in his mid 40's, it's better late than never.

are good. ‘’For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is
guilty of breaking all of it.’’ (James 2:10). Our carnal mind is hostile to God; it does not submit
to God's moral law and it never will (Romans 8:7). We hate the thought of God for the same reason a criminal
hates a policeman - we know we have sinned against God and are guilty of it and we don't want to be damned.
No good works will ever save you. You can't earn salvation by good works, because God will judge us for our sin.
Good News is that Jesus Christ lived a perfect, holy, sinless life and He died for our sins according to the Scriptures,
He was buried and He was raised from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever

We aren’t saved by our good works, but only by the grace of God through faith in Christ.

I'm 68 now and have been single most of my life. I am simply too broken to be able to establish a healthy relationship with a woman. I have chosen to remain single forever now. You reach a point in this life where you come to realize that certain things just aren't going to happen. For me that's marriage, and that's ok. Fortunately this life is not all there is!

I enjoy being single. No strange obligations, more money in my wallet, more free time, more time for exercise, not sacrificing my diet for poor quality food, more sleep…The list goes on! Also, me not getting married doesn’t make me have to walk on eggshells and potentially lose a lot if the marriage goes south.

I had been using tinder, bumble and hinge for almost a month but not even a single match. I have 4 crushes on real life. 3 are from my college and are 18-20 year olds and another is 23 or 24 from another institute. I am too shy but finally managed to get the name of 2 of my crushes and follow them on Instagram and finally messaged one of them and was really happy when finally one of the crush who is 19 and in 2nd year replied to me. I didn't say her yet that I have crush on her but I am in last year of college and will be graduating by August end or Sept first week so would I have any chance with her and should I try to date her? I am confused and I am kinda scared to say her about my crush on her.

I really like her and she is very pretty but she is 19 and 2 years my junior and I am 21 and in last year so how would I meet her after graduating? Btw I am still sad that I can never meet that other crush who is 18 and in 1st year because I know nothing about her and I will probably never meet her again as college is almost over. She was my first ever crush in college when I saw her in April 2022. She is too cute and I would have loved to be that nice guy who would keep her safe and protected. I'm glad I waited until I was 35 to marry the love of my life. I'm 41, he's 47, when I met him I was seeing 2 other guys and those 2 guys didn't have what I wanted in a potential husband. My husband was seeking 3 women and he said none of them weren't as traditional as me. My husband and I clicked so well, we both are very educated, family oriented, traditional, religious, like and hate almost the same things, down-to-earth, understanding of each other and both came from big families. Now we have 2 kids together. Don't let people on social media tell you that you're crazy if you haven't married by this age and that age, true love comes to those who wait.

The stats are clear; if a woman has not met her future husband by the age of 30, her chances are quite slim in ever marrying and having kids.
Especially considering that the biological window is MUCH shorter for women. These are just facts, and the statistics backs this up completely.

Shout out to all the 40+ singles. After focusing on education and then career, here I am (like many of the commenters) 40 y.o and single. No major regrets ... I'm not sad, I'm not miserable. My mum has never put pressure on me to find a boyfriend or get married. But she did ask me a year or so ago (out of the blue) if I wanted her help to find a hubby. I just said "no" because I wasn't interested in finding a partner. Anyway, this year I've developed a big time crush on someone. I feel young again (but mind you 40 ain't old). I think there's beauty in finding love later in life. I also know there's nothing wrong in staying single if that's what you want. But for the first time in possibly forever, I want love ❤

And that's across all ethnicity. ripped yoked up 40 year old men I've seen in the gym that I work out with later on after getting to know them tell me they are on testosterone therapy. basically legal juice. When your an early 20 something you can get in killer shape even if you've never worked out once in your life. but the older you become; and the more overweight you are the harder it will be. Remember skin elasticity is highest at youth. so the longer you keep that weight on the harder and worse it will be to loose when and if you do decide to take it off. that's why age matters when it comes to being overweight. not to mention if you have injuries that may stop you from working out to begin with. injuries take longer to heal when your older. and some dont fully heal at all. I fucked my back up when I was 28 moving a couch; 4 years later my back still kills me in the morning no matter the PT I do.

I'm 42 proudly single with no kids yet and thank almighty God cos I wasn't ready for a family. I would have ruined it for my kids and husband. Now I'm smart enough to know that we can never be fully ready but the sheer recognition and humility to accept this and be teachable through the process is more than enough.
Also, time is an illusion. getting married later in life is not a sign of failure. in fact by now you kinder know yourself in out and will not settle for societal pressures and other petty stuff.

Was married for 7 years in my 20s-30s, don't rush marriage and you'll absolutely learn many new things about your more authentic self (values, boundaries, etc) in the 30s and 40s.
Having the relationship and living together is just the beginning - people evolve together, for better or worse - it's that test of emotional maturity on both parts, and the willingness to keep a curios compassion mind in times on conflict. How sustainable are the imperfections - I think it's wise to place equal emphasis on weighing how compatible the good and bad traits are (of both sides). Not going in blind hoping everything just works out. Not avoiding learning, therapy, healthier communities, etc that can always help. Learning to embrace imperfections, many in my 20s took a decade to really make peace with and move on from or accept with full ownership.
As a man I've been treated as a security blanket, a wallet, a weapon, a punching post, a foot massager, a sex toy... but never as myself, never as a man. The women I've been with have proven to me that there is no longer any benefit to looking for a mate. They don't want one.
I've become comfortable with that.

@@ashuranero5721 I work, I go out with friends, recently I've been attending Mens groups that go for bush walks, cycling, meet up for drinks with likeminded individuals, I hit up other parents and hang out with them and their kids and when I'm most lonely I remember all the horrible things I've been put through by women and my lonliness doesn't seem so bad in comparison. I'm not close minded to meeting another woman and giving it another go, I'm just not going to allow my past to repeat itself. I accept that not all women are the same, but I do not accept being treated poorly by anyone (not jsut women). Also I'm lucky enough to have a daughter who I think is one of the coolest people on the planet and is a joy to parent during our limited time together, so i look to that most of all.

When I was 40, single and childless, I was starting to accept that I will remain single forever. When I hit 45, I have fully accepted that i will be single. Add the fact that I came from a bad breakup, I fully accepted with myself that I am fine remaining alone.

I don't get the fact that people are dating 5 others. I'm probably sheltered and live in a rural community but this isn't normal life. As someone that is over 40 the dating pool is very limited. About 15,000 people live within a 50 mile radius. Roughly half are female. 7,500, take out the ones not aged 30-50. How many are aged 30-50, not married or in a relationships? Double digits. How many are addicted to meth, have children, not attractive? Down to single. Being able to date 5 people means I'd have to drive 2 hours for each date.
