I traveled solo to Patong Beach in February 2024. Because I was alone, people came up to me and started talking. I made it a point to smile and say hello to anyone who was looking at me. It blew me away how nice and friendly everyone was. One day I went into 7-11 and bought a bag full of ice cream bars and handed them out to the massage boys at Paradise Complex (It was 95f outside). After that they all smiled and waved to me every time they saw me. It was an incredible trip! An absolute dream vacation.

Great info. Getting me going. What's a good amount of time to spend there. I'm retired. Yeah, old guy. I've thought about a month, but not sure if that's a good idea first time solo trip so far, into another country. At 60ish, I don't wanna live in clubs. They spot me out as grandpa. 😅Facts is facts
