Looks like you are officially on holiday from Pattaya! The irony of travel and then settling in another country is that the excitement will always decline as this becomes your new normal, which is a stark contrast with the initial excitement, and it's unexpected. My experience of my first 5-6 months of travelling the middle East was a totally uexpected culture shock of returning home where everything was so famiiiar but I'd changed perspective so much. I'm enjoying your videos and love the drone shots, too. It'd be interesting to hear your Thai girlfriend's opinions on Thailand and on the farangs who go there.

There's usually something special or a reason to go back to the various parts of Thailand that I've been to, but I don't care if I never see Koh Samui again.

Been going to Thailand twice a year for the better part of 15 years now. I avoid re-living the same memory twice. I always stay at different hotels, visit different bars and build new memories.

Change your lifestyle. Go on a fast for a week or two, have a cleanse. Black coffee in a morning then that's it. Feel really good after it. Try it, easy after day one. Just drink lots of water & relax.

You missed a really good bar on Soi Diamond. Le Pub is a super chill place for a huge variety of liquors and beers available including Guiness & Heineken 0 (non-alcoholic) which can be tough to find in the city. Over 20 girls who know how to back off if you don't want to buy lady drinks too! Opens @ 4:00 till late.
