    Suggestion: For 5-4 you should make it so there needs to be 0 entities on the platform to make it move, so Mario has to constantly jump to make the platform move

    Have a level that asks the player if they want to play 1-1. But every time the player answers no, it
    - Repeatedly asks if they are sure they don't want to play 1-1
    - Guilts them for not playing 1-1 through a made up story
    - make entering the "no" door slightly more annoying to get to (Swap the yes and no doors, have multiple yes doors with one "no" door, make you do things like bomb excavation to the no door)
    - The last time it asks you it just puts you in 1-1 where the "no" door is at the end.

    have you considered a level made purely of shoutouts to various random and unrelated people? possibly even with bomb excavation the entire way through forcing you to very slowly and uncomfortably read each letter one by one purely bc its the most interesting thing you could be doing with your eyes in that moment.
    btw absolutely adore this series, please do keep developing this!!

    You should just cover a castle in aproximately way too many thwomps, and have a thwomp requiring the player to go either left or right immediately, but if they go right they die to a lava bubble unless they're mini mario specifically.

    Idea: For 5-Tower, replace the moving walls with lot's of skewers but not too difficult. Remember, it's meant to be annoying, not difficult. When somebody tries to grab the checkpoint, softlock them so they're forced to restart. And finally, for the boss fight, make the moving platforms slippery and get rid of the floor. You could either do that or make a recreation of 1-1 but sideways like a tower. Pick your poison.

    Suggestion for 5-5: Make it a Sensory Deprevation Chamber that you have to be in for like 5 minutes until a switch appears or drops down or something, which opens the way to the exit (or maybe 1-1 if you feel like it)

    Suggestion: I love your quiz levels, I think they’re some of the funniest. I think it would be funny if you made a quiz level about previous levels (how many rolling hills in 1-1, how many boomerang bros in 2-1, etc). Required backtracking is really fun. Hope no one’s already suggested this, I’m not sure. Love the series, keep it coming!

    Here are some level ideas
    -This one was someone else’s idea but it’s so good that I have to spread the word. In 7-5, replace the normal flagpole with the secret one so that the level will count as beaten without opening the path to 7-Castle. Then make the secret exit in 7-Tower be the most cryptic exit in the game. Maybe leave some cryptic almost useless hints at the end of 7-5.
    -While we’re on the topic of World 7, when you beat the secret 7-6, it unlocks two entrances to 7-Castle. Maybe use this opportunity to punish those who use the chimney entrance thinking that it would be easier. Make the normal 7-Castle entrance the quick and easy level while the chimney entrance is the extremely difficult, annoying, tedious, and long level. Also make the chimney entrance 7-Castle constantly shame and belittle the player for being a cheater.
    -8-4 is already a really crappy level for being a mix of a dark and an underwater level. Make it even worse by removing every source of light in it so that when you play it, it’s just a pitch black screen the whole level and it’s impossible to see where you’re going.
    -Make 5-Ghost House the most disturbing and traumatizing level by putting a bunch of creepy images in it and make the music River Twygz Bed from Super Paper Mario.
    -In 9-1, make the spinning platforms spin so fast that just landing on them would launch you.
    -In 9-7, remove every tile and place ice coin blocks in a way that you must jump from one to another and the jumps are the most precise jumps possible. Also spam fire piranha plants.
    -Here’s another idea I got from someone else. Make the final boss 1-1 but giant bowser can break the blocks. And when you reach the end, Peach is there. But there is no switch. Instead there is a pipe. A pipe that leads to a repeat of the final boss but it’s just the normal one this time. There’s a pipe at the end that leads to another repeat of the final boss. The loop keeps on going and it never ends. There is a secret invisible pipe that is near impossible to find that leads to the true final boss. The true final boss is the absolute worst level you can possibly make while giant bowser chases you down. When you get to the end, Roy is there. There is also an item box with a mini mushroom in it to end the level. The plot is that instead of saving Peach, the player saves Roy because he is their true love.

    This one's for way in the future, but I think in one of your old, smaller mod showcases for 1-1 through 1-4 (i think), you showed that putting a secret exit where there shouldn't be one prevents the map from moving.
    If I'm not imagining things, and that being said, replace the normal exit in 8-6 or 7-5 with a Secret Exit, and make the 8-2/7-Tower secret exit really, really hard to find.

    Suggestion for 5 tower: Make it so that the spike walls move reeeaaaaally slow and you have to wait like 50 seconds for the platform to be uncovered from the spike wall.

    Suggestion: 5-1 is the mid-game level. You should make the player play 1-1 repeatedly 5 times just to celebrate that they cleared half of the game

    Suggestion for any level. If you can add the toad balloons from the enemy levels in to a main level do a like “find the balloons” level but make it dull

    Suggestions: make an auto scroll level on the lowest possible settings, but also add random mazes from time to time, of invisible warps, like the ones you put in front of that one goal and Windy. They send you back to the start.

    Late but ideas:
    - world 5 ghost house has all the lamps removed and replaced with 1-1 ghost house edition partway through
    -5-fortress make the walls like 3 blocks thin and twice as fast
    -any random fortress: sideways 1-1
    -6-1 all the platforms are replaced with the falling donut cliff blocks forcing you to be constantly jumping and moving slowly. Add high winds for even more pain
    -6-3 naked pipes :)
    -little timmy level that rips off another franchise like geometry dash or sans undertale
    -a level that's just a long corridor with a steamy fanatic in text with a comprehnsion quiz at the end
    -1-1 but upside down

    For the wiggler cave level in world 5, you should just make a big fun wiggler play room to bounce around with your wiggly friends (bonus points if you retexture the wigglers into quagsires, I don’t know anything about modding though idk if you can do that)

    I think… for the first level in world 5… should have the first half of 1-1,then have 5-1 but the floor is made of donut blocks (because why not) then at the flagpole… is the second half of 1-1 except the gaps are the floor and the floor are the gaps. Beautiful level design! Oh also ever enemy had a 50/50 chance to be a beeg wiggler or a small goomba.
    Also in that one raft level (I think I saw a comment on it) make it so the entity count is 0. That way mario has to constantly jump. Add a “few” more enemies and make the pow blocks be hidden in kaizo blocks and more kaizo blocks everywhere and-
    I should make more ideas for levels

    A suggestion: A door maze. Each door is a castle/tower door (for extra time) and each leads to a different door, preferably in rooms that all look the same, and a large amount of rooms. Only one door in a specific room leads to the end.

    Remember the 1-5 Maze?
    Remake it, but replace air with foreground tiles (so the path and the walls look the same if you're not near the area).
    It'd make the level a cool callback, and for real life mazes (like, corn mazes) you can't see where most walls are, making it more accurate.

    I'll reiterate an idea I left on an earlier video because I really like it...
    Mini-Mushroom Goomba Stomp Expedition!
    It's a tower/castle level where first you're forced to take a mini mushroom like some of the previous levels. Then you find yourself staring down a one block tall passageway filled with as many goombas as will possibly fit. Obviously,* you can't get through the passageway while a goomba is in the way because there's no room to jump over. So instead you have to lure all the goombas over to the open area where you're meant to enter the corridor when the way is free, so you have space to ground pound each goomba one by one to kill them to open the way. If you mess up once you get to start the whole process over again.
    Then you hit a checkpoint and get to do the same thing all over again except this time the goombas are replaced with monty moles.
    *Mini Mario's hitbox is a little bit wacky sometimes, so you'll need to test and see if you can somehow squeeze yourself far enough into the upper section of the goomba's hitbox for the game to register it as a stomp instead of a collision. If so, you'll need to employ anti-cheese measures to punish Mario for trying to jump while in the corridor. Either make the ceiling fake and put invisible spikes up there for Mario to hit, or put a warp to an anti-softlock or 1-1 or a 1-1 anti-softlock or something.

    Suggestion: Have a level at maximum length really close to the bottom death barrier. The level just goes straight, but at random intervals, there are holes where you fall through and die. For added bs put a couple Kaizo blocks above the hole.

    Hello. I found out from another video that 1: If you put a secret exit in a level that doesn't normally have 1, it exits the level and counts it as cleared yet doesn't actually open the path to the next level, and 2: The credits are an object, meaning you can place them in levels. I thought those are perfect things to use for this hack.

    Idea: Make a level that seems like a straight shot to the flag, but you have to navigate a maze made of kaizo blocks (because the flag is blocked off.)
    And then after you complete the maze, you have to go through 1-1 again, because it definitely hasn’t gotten old enough already.

    So, I know someone already said this idea a while back, but since you have that dating simulator from before translated into German... so how about for Morton's castle (I think it's World 6?) you just reuse the dating simulator in German? I'm sure everyone remembers all the correct routes from World 2, so I'm sure it'll be great! :D
    Then again, IIRC, I think World 6 is the one with the back entrance, so maybe just have them go through 1-1 again. They haven't done 1-1 enough, so it's an option to skip the dating sim. (Or am I thinking about Mario U instead? My knowledge is pretty rusty...)

    my brain has decided to give you submissions for all of world 5 for some reason so here we go i guess
    5-1: add more piranha plants and also have the entire level covered by something on layer 0
    enemy barrages: put the entire thing underwater and replace the piranha plants with cheep chomps
    5-2: replace every enemy with giant wigglers. Also put 1-1 at the end because why not
    5-3: replace all ground with the rolling logs and put hard blocks where the bramballs walk
    5-Tower: make all the spike walls move at the slowest possible speed
    5-Tower Fight: make the platforms move at the fastest speed and also put lemmy’s balls
    5-4: if it’s possible, make it so it can’t withstand a single enemy on it. If not just make a raft version of 1-1
    5-Ghost House: remove all sources of light
    5-5: make the autoscroll go as fast as possible
    5-Castle: remove the fences
    5-Castle Fight: put two spike walls from 5-tower and make them move at the fastest speed

    I think you should change things up in an extra chaotic way. Make one level actually really good; like a genuine level that people would enjoy playing. This way, they know you're CAPABLE of these good levels, and gives them hope that "Maybe there's another good level!"
    The whole time, they'd be scared of what the gimmick would be, too.

    More Mayro Mario Mods! I like the concepts of these levels even if they will probably haunt your nightmares. I've heard the New Super Mario Bros 2 DLC Impossible Pack is nasty, though. It is nice to see more challenging levels as the vanilla game is pretty easy all things considered.

    I'd suggest taking an already long and annoying level that has a barrier at the end so the player has to go back to the beginning and press a switch, and then go back to the end where they realise there's another barrier, so they go back to the beginning to find another switch but that switch is behind a different barrier so they have to look through the whole level for one just repeat that a couple times and that's a horrible level to play

    I heard of people’s favourite thing about video game is cutscene because it reduces the difficulty of the game. Since 5-1 is too hard, I think making it a story about Lemmy designing this game would be a great experience, the cutscene last for 30 minute so it won’t be too short.

    Granted, when you can bring in a powerup of your choice, the 2 hardest NSMB2 DLC packs aren't nearly as bad. Then again, in a hack called Nightmare Mario, getting ahold of powerups that you can use in any level might very well not be a thing.

    idea: recreate 1-1 in mario maker 2 and have a "password" (key, code, etc.) at the end. the "password" is used for a level in this romhack (the code to the mm2 level is provided in the level) and when you input the correct "password" and go through the door (or whatever the exit may be) it takes you to 1-1

    Suggestion for the Bramball level: Remove all the rolling logs and make every Bramball move at its fast speed. Oh, and make the floor entirely out of conveyor belts except for the spots where the Bramballs' feet touch the floor so that you constantly have to move at the right speed to avoid hitting their legs.

    I don't know if it's possible to change the behavior of the vines in W5, but if you can, force the player to enter 5-3 (or 5-2), then require them to go to the other level for info, but make the vines softlock them on the world map and never go away just so they have to re-enter the world and waste a little bit of their time :)

    Idea: Take a level that is notorious for having some kind of skip and cover it in arrows and other visual noise trying to keep the player on the intended path through the level

    You know what everyone loves?
    Not being able to control their character.
    So Im suggesting having a level to where the ground is just bouncy clouds and there are randomly placed inconventient water bubbles in the sky.
    You cant stop bouncing unless you are swimming. And no one likes swimming.
    Also putting in the death cloud chase to put the pressure on would be fun.

    Not really an idea for a level, but if you were planning on doing a stream then a better way of doing it might be getting people to submit ideas to a form and then selecting them randomly, so it's less carnage in the chat. I vaugely remember you saying it was hard to make levels on stream so if that's something you wanna do this might be a better solution. No pressure though.

    You should have a level that's sorta like Flappy bird, where a platform moves up and you have to jump in between two pipes. If you miss, you have to go through a pipe that takes you to 1-1, then restarts you at the beginning of the level. If you complete all the jumps, the final pipe...
    Will take you back to 1-1.
    Then it'll restart you at the beginning of the level.
    You actually have to fail the last jump, and it'll take you to 1-1, then it'll end the level (or send you to the next portion if you wanna add more stuff)

    Suggestion: change a levels theme like forest to snow for example and make it fit really well, enemies and all, and then change the theme again and don't fix anything. Try to make it a tile set that just breaks the level

    Man, the airship is almost perfect. I had a really tedious idea when you got the mini-mushroom and went back for the star coin.
    It would be hilarious is all 3 star coins were at the start of the level along with the path to Bowser Jr., and you would slowly get a new power-up or find a new button that would unlock a Star Coin one by one, so you would keep having to back track, and with each Star coin there’d be a switch to open another area on the other side of the map to then do and come back for the next Star Coin. Idk how well that would work with space, but it would be so annoying XD

    For one of the castles, you should make it so all the enemies are replaced by the boss for that world, expect for the glory that is the 1-1 bonzi bill(all hail bonzi bill). Also, for the lugwig fight it so there is strong wind blowing against you druing the battle.

    at some point you should add another final boss fight, but the chase sequence in the 2nd half is 1-1 made entirely out of the blocks that normally appear in the fight

    Made a general knowledge quiz and every time you Guess the wrong thing, you have to play 1-1 and restart from the question you were wrong at

    I have an idea for any level. What if the entire level is just you shaking the Wii remote on those screws things that open pathways. Mess up the speeds and stuff to make it as annoying as possible.

    Im still gonna suggest that 9-7 level Played 3 times with 1-1 at the checkpoint mark and an Empty chest at the end. Also the chain fences were a brilliant idea.

    Please do a koopaling boss rush where you fight every single koopaling again in a really difficult boss fight and then you fight them all at once. I LOVE the koopalings!

    take inspiration from pizza tower and make it so you have to backtrack to the start of a level at the end of it. Then force them to "lap 2" the level. Then when they get back to the start, make them go back to the end like normal. Unlike pizza tower, make the level full of waiting and annoying jumps and add a singular hidden block the first time they have to back track to the start that only appears once to make them have paranoia. Also no music, at all.

    For 5-5, make so that their is less platforms, replace each bullet bill spawner with a king bill spawner, and make the autoscroll go slower. Once the player enters the exit pipe, they have to play the lvl again.

    horrid idea:
    in an early level within the world have a message exclaiming "Do not harm boomba the goomba" with no context. then, put the rest of this idea in a different level.
    Make a small hole you need to toss a koopa shell into.
    the way you get the koopa:
    It is running on a rolling hill going its exact speed, you need to wait for the "Bah-s" to get said koopa.
    later in the level do the same with a goomba, but killing the goomba softlocks you while waiting an additional 5 seconds lets you continue the level.
    It is then revealed that the goomba in question was boomba the goomba.
