My area is has a tropical climate which is where orchids get their best conditions to grow. Mumbai has a tropical climate too but with lesser rainfall and very high temperatures during mid summer.
      Please try the below:
      1) Keep the orchids in shade
      2) When it is very hot - mist the orchids
      3) Water them daily since rain is less than usual tropical areas
      4) Fertilize regularly during summer and winter
Some orchids you can grow in your climate:
      1) Cattleyas
      2) Dendrobiums
      3) Vandas
      4) Phalaenopsis

Oncidiums need bright shaded sunlight and moderate humidity. Water them when media is almost dry. If oncidiums donot get enough light they may not bloom. Check the colour of the leaves. If they are dark green, may be you need to shift them to a more lighted area. Keep them safe from direct sunlight always.
