ford escape 2015 se 1.6, 6F35 transmission; at 65000km mileage it started to shift hard 1-2 when stepping light on gas; did twice atf simple drain and fill but still shifts hard 1-2; but after I cleared transmission adaptive table with forscan, shifts were noticeably smoother and the hard shifting 1-2 disappeared.
Hey great video man! thank you very much for sharing the information! would you mind making a video on how to perform adaptive learning? my car has been acting weird and it make like a jump when I'm going from 1st gear to 2nd gear! do you think that just by clearing the transmission adaptive tables should be ok? or would i need to perform an adaptive learning all over again.
It resets the shift times from what I read, when you reset it will drive rough until it learns your driving habits, that’s what I found when I researched it
@@EverythingWindsor-EssexCountysee and everything I’ve read about it is that it’s all of the learnt information regarding how worn the clutch plates are and how long they will take to apply etc…
thank you
Thanks for making this video, it helped me a lot to install it right now. Did your high rev ups get fixed after the table clearing?
Not really, I just realized it’s a 4 banger and had no balls lmao
Definitely helped with smoothing the shifting tho

This is what I like to hear
Does it work for mustang ?
I don’t see why it wouldn’t , if the options are available they should work
Might be a silly question but same procedure on a 19 Edge with the 8F35 correct ?
Yes if I’m not mistaken

If you watch the whole video I put that at the end
What does this procedure do to the transmission?
