I just did a clutch/fork replacement using your extremely helpful videos. I got it all back together and then proceeded to do the tcm relearn with the forscan. My windows pc is apparently junk and I wasn’t able to do anything with my apple laptop for this process either. I decided to see what would happen if I just drove it. Surprisingly it drives perfect. It drives and shifts amazingly. 🤷🏻‍♂️ This is obviously just my isolated situation. I did have the battery unhooked for close to a week. Not sure if that did anything to reset the tcm. Thank you for your videos.

Hello Ben, I had P073E in my Fiesta 2017, I trued to perform the re learning procedure with Forscan and was not able to complete it. I did it manually but at the end the P073E code returns and no reverse. I think it is the clutch, have you had similar experience with this code?

    • @BigBensCarsAndCycles

It means the tcm actuated reverse but couldn't synchronize it. That could be a bad tcm, damaged synchronizer, but if the b-clutch fork is seized then I'd start there as it may be confusing the tcm.
