This was a really fun hunt to watch. John, I think that is a pistol ball, not a buck and ball. it looks too big to me. Those are some huge trees that fell. I hate seeing century trees like that come to an end. I'm just thinking of all they witnessed. I loved this video.
Think the proper term for the "suspender clip" is a strap adjuster. The clip is the piece that would attach in the front to a button or whatever. The adjuster would go on the shoulder strap to adjust the length. At least that's what I think anyway.
I bought an 1860's Acadian property in 2020. Meteghan, Nova Scotia. Once I get it all cleaned up I will be having some people drop by to detect. I have a small 2.88 acres of an old Acadian farm with the original house, barn (fallen) and forge building (fallen).
