That was an Amazing hunt you guys had! Coke was first served in 1886, I believe in Georgia. So that token wound be from 1936ish. That was an 'holy crap' class ring Gary!!! Hey Philip, that was a sewing item in the wrap up. at the small end was a very thin wire loop used to thread a needle. Loved the dog tags and tokens as well.
That tapered aluminum embossed piece that Phillip found is a thread puller for threading sewing needles, but the tiny diameter steel wires that would have extended outwards from the small end in a very narrow elongated loop have corroded away to nothing.
Very exciting video today! Quite a variety of items, all desirable! I remember Gary saying he didn't dig nickels in an earlier video, and now he's scooping 'em up. Today I found my oldest coin yet, an 1883 Indian cent just as I was about to call it a day. Thanks for the inspiration!
ur “buckle” should be a civil war sword hanger, i found one and someone educated me, so i of course googled it and found the exact one i dug up ! awesome hunt so far, still got 10 mins, com’on phillip get on the board 😎
I found a Gold Class Ring (Mens) on the playground of the old North Fant Elementary School when I was in the 4th grade. Only a small portion of the edge was showing above the hard ground. After the required 3 days in the school lost and found in a small barrel with sweaters, gloves, books and what not, I got to claim it. At home I was forced to allow it to be put up for safe keeping. Even now, I've never seen that ring again. Still wondering WHERE IS THAT D - - n "SAFE" PLACE IS. Great Vid Guys.
I'd like to hire you, John, to come up to Rochester, NY to door knock about 50 properties for me to hunt when the weather gets good again. I admire your successes.
"Gary, turn the detector off and go to the car." Congrats on the gold ring. Keep it since it's a sort of savings account that "accrues interest" and you got it free. Those Coke medallions are very cool. They are collectibles. All of you had a good day. Remember what you had for breakfast!
wow you guys found a lot of stuff and I found a civil war snake buckle in Massachusetts and British Imports made them and a confederate soldier wore it.
Masury paint token I found one years ago at a school. That's the only other one I've seen. Now somebody needs to find a frostie drink good luck token and it'll be the second one of those I've seen. Great day with silvers and tokens
my dad use to buy masury paint. those tokens were on a ribbon on the gallon can.this was in the late 50's early 60's. found a few in the paths we kids used growing up too.detecting all my old haunts.
Coca Cola was founded or started on May 8, 1886 by Dr. John Pemberton. So add 50 years and you got May 8, 1936. Loved that gold ring. I graduated high school in 1970 and have a ring that looks just like that. Great finds.
Hell yeah Gary!! And also, I hope Yall know you’re creating a monster in Phillip. It won’t be long and you’ll see when he’s taking Yall to the cleaners. Mark my words. lol
Last week I dug a strange token. There are 2 businesses in Colorado Springs that used to be one. A magazine shop and a porn shop. I found a token from when they were one. Lol
lol. I don’t like encroaching on them. I also tend to dig lower and mid tones, but from now on I’m going to drop a flag on the lower and mid tones and come back to them after all the high tones (silver signals) 😂 don’t tell the others though.
That one bent hook looks like a "J" hook used on civil war Knapsacks. They all came in different sizes and styles. Good find on that, mine had like a round button on it. Good hunts guys and excellent finds.
Dang Gary! Showin em up! Congrats on that monster ring!
Yep! Thinking about firing him, haha!
Awesome hunts and finds, guys. CONGRATS Gary on the Gold.

Love the videos occasionally would be nice to see iffy signals compared from Manti to the D2.

Tell Gary I like his Pink Floyd shirt!
Wanted to let you know that is a Tennessee sword hanger confederate nice find 👍 ATB 🦀
We thought the same, but apparently it's a piece of horse tack that's commonly confused for the confederate sword hanger.

@Findingwithfrequency I have, I'm just going off what someone told me about it. Still may be the better of the two.

Did you find a pet cemetery?
Owner of that ring would be 78 years old if still around and possibly a Vietnam veteran.

But you clicked?
Plus he did indeed dig a $730 gold ring so it was not click bait.
