This was a question asked in stream. I know it seems simple, but its this concept that separates a beginners to a pro in terms of understanding movement momentum to utilize movement techniques effectively!
you have to do more guides like this, these kind of guides are the ones missing out there which is so basic yet if you don't know it, you will never know it.... next guide can it be more detailed like when to press the sprint button perfectly in between gunfights to slide jump OR finding the perfect timing to bunny hop in gun fights (like engaging or chasing) with space-bar using your left hand in order to avoid using right hand to both aim and do the hop?
For someone new to apex and BRs in general, nothing is simple 😅 I would also love a guide on rotations. Everyone just cuts that part out of their guides. I want to know where to go and why I should go to that exact location. And also where to position, when you spot a team, before engaging. Thank you for all the awesome guides!
My issue is, i practice movement in the firing range quite a bit, but then when i get into fights all that goes out the window. I try and tap strafe moving in fights and some other stuff, but it all goes out the window and i don't think about it. then when i do try i always get a dead slide, and like bad movement then i end up dying. i know these topics well and i can use them. but once its in a fight, it all just goes out of my mind.
Also utilize the jump slide.. it's not as quick to start as the slide jump but you can do It even when you're in a fight or a pinch just jump then slide into your bhops and you might be able to reposition for the upper hand.. I don't see many players do this
finally, this was a problem i often experience during my gunfights but i always lose my momentum so i always get slow get killed easily. and i cant even utilize all the movement techniques i learned because i keep gettig stuck while sliding cause of lack in speed

Hey Dazs. I was wondering if you could make a video about autoexec. I have a low end PC and had 27 fps average. After using an autoexec it went to 50fps. It might help people with low end gear
Haven’t watched the whole video yet, BUT I’ve got a question: how do you enable bots in the Firing range now when you die every time you switch a legend? The same question goes for enabling 3rd person mode. Please! 😅
6:10 thats actually wrong. turning your camera doesnt increase your velocity but it still counts towards the speed that is needed to perform a slide. try jumping straight up, crouching and turning your camera towards s or d while hitting the ground.... you will slide... wont happen if you dont turn your camera
This seems more like something that can’t really be taught verbally such as riding a bike (no hate and I think its kind of you doing your best to help that person out). It just comes through playing the game and imitating what you see. At least that’s my experience with movement in Apex.
That’s the hard part, why I made the video to attempt to. I been making guides on each subject and people are getting it. But gotta remember in the moment velocity and it’s application.
@@petrusvermeulen9189 yeah, its hard to write out and also luckily the situations worked out well. its like teaching to ride a bike. You hop on and say, find your center and balance. But no one mentions the kick to push yourself up and forward and that momentum helps with stability. When you are not moving its harder. It feels so weird to to type out. I honesty am a slow learner and I was very late to actually learning to ride a bike. I still don't know how to swim even. Only reason I find success is sheer persistence in what I like to do.
When I perfect my gameplay and become one of the best players and you guys are able to follow the journey from start to finish. That is when I retire it and can just strictly show gameplay because all the resources are there for you all! That is a genuine answer. I only make guides because I want to get better also. If I can teach it, then I do it. If I cannot teach it, then I need to improve also.
@@Dazs yup that’s a reason why it has such a high skill ceiling. I found in VOD reviews that my positioning needs work as well so recently I’ve been working on that and just getting better one step at a tome

How I get smooth movement:
Set FOV to 110
Technically that just makes movement look nicer
@@GalacticYuna that’s the joke I guess
@@jonahk6577 true. I just wasn't sure if it was a joke lol
this. not many talk about this and this is everything. thank you.

Have been waiting forever for a vid like this, earned a sub, thanks man!
now i'm gonna be a movement god thank you dazs
whats the name of that 301?

u should also optimize nvidia 3d settings, optimize ur gpu and cpu, and optimize windows.
For the record, holster = putting gun away and unholster = pulling your gun out.
Haha. Glad I wasn't the only one to notice.

It's the exact same and you can still turn them both on!
@@jayoung8639 actually, I tried it with the 3rd person mode a few days ago and it didn’t happen. Maybe I should try one more time!
Love your vids
I use slidehopping if i get shot because air strafing doesn't get slowed. So i can get a full speed bhop

how you get your hands out? I’m new in apex
hold triangle
How do you get it to show the velocity

Wait what? How are you getting the dummy’s to work again? I can’t get them sense the update
it still works like the old way, just remember to throw away both your guns before you do the trigger
And don't get panic when you punch instead of shooting between hostler and equip back ur weapon in a fight :))
how many more guides can there be(this is not a hate comment)
