    bro this is exactly what i have been looking for. I have been spending my time learning these movements and not been able to adapt them to my fights. Hell the only time i did was in arenas trying to tap strafe around a corner and seeing my target there killing them. It wasn't even my intention to do a tap strafe PK kill on them took me by surprise that i did it by mistake

    the best advice i ever got when learning movement was everytime i saw the chance to wallbounce or superglide to just do it even if i’m not in the fight just constantly do movement tech and after a while i just started doing it mid fight without even thinking about it and i slowly learned how i can actually use them

    highly requested in the discord but also in UA-cam comments. When do you use Movement on Apex? Today we cover the basics and introduction to it with in-game examples. If you need to learn how to do it, we posted a master class video covering all movement yesterday! :)

    Funny how I literally 5 days ago started learning the apex movement and at the very right time I found your channel. I remember when doing simple wall-bounce with the jump so faith was a challenge and now I am thinking about tap-strafe wall bounce, wall bounce from low objects etc. Tank you so much for the Guides. Now I have to prac-prac-prac :)

    Best advice iv been given is learn something once or twice then don't overthink it..keep it in mind but don't have it as one of those things constantly on the mind if it is focus on another goal and switch between the two , overthinking will be the death of whatever your doing

    Apex is a game with a *LOT* of downtime which means there's a ton of time to just do stuff. See a crate/wall/rock? bounce off it. Turning a corner? Tapstrafe it. Mix it up and combine techs as well. Constantly using movement tech *between* fights is how I learned to use movement tech *during* the fight, it became second nature.

    Most important take away from this video IMO = "Movement doesn't always pan out how you want" I feel like I've gotten pretty good at tap strafing and wall bounce and super gliding and I still lose gun fights, just because you have movement mastered doesn't mean it'll win you the fight! Good video boss

      its a fps your main skill is aim, you can be aceu on movemnt if your aim is bad you cant do shit, if u check any stream even the top 1 pred dont do any fancy shit, they have a combination of good aim + good game sense + decent position. i think movement is really good if u have decent aim.

    • @ryansant3945
      @ryansant3945 2 роки тому

      @@ericalexander3816 in the end aim is what matter, you can be an average joe in all other areas if u have decent aim you go at least to diamond/master. aceu/bad aim = bronze. potato/ god aim = pred. higher ranks your teammates matter more.

    How to practice this in game?
    1. Go solo no fill and use movement in order to stay alive
    2. Run around in the firing range and just wall bounce, etc.
    "But I don't know any movement :("
    1. search up tutorials on how to do certain types of movement
    2. practice in the firing range
    I hope this helps :)

    You did some good stuff but you're kinda blurring the lines between actual movement techniques and horizons ability. like at 5:08 you say you tap strafe, but in reality the window to tap strafe has long gone by the time you actually start moving. I.e. if you did that, "tap strafe" on say bloodhound, you'd basically not have moved at all. Somewhat misleading to people who do not know what they're looking at, which I believe is your target audience.

    Sad that wall bouncing is not as useful on console. We can wall bounce but only hard if that makes sense. When we run straight into a box and wall bounce we just jump away from it we don't have the opportunity to then land on top of it. We also can't really wall bounce around corners.

    • @seanwilliams874
      @seanwilliams874 2 роки тому

      Actually you can land on top of it. When you hit that wall face the wall. Flick your left stick back to middle and up( instead of away from the wall. Itll bounce you up. Do it all the time running from people. It's alot faster than climbing

      That is more of a inherent problem though. It is hard to look around and sticks are tough to use like you have said. Daz isn’t even a controller player, it would be difficult for him to make a whole tutorial on something he isn’t familiar with, not only that, controllers just weren’t made for that kind of thing…
