I've got this bike, same color scheme. It is my first bike and I love it. Using it for commuting to work in NW Pennsylvania. Between the hills, running at about 60 mph, and me being 5' 10" and 225 pounds, I'm getting 81 mpg, and I run the throttle wide open a lot. The bike has 994 miles on right now, I'm waiting on a new left side foot rest assembly because I was actually caught in a snowstorm two days ago and ended up laying the bike down.
Dude I love stories like this (not the falling down part that sucks). Keep me posted on your experience because I keep telling everyone that it’s a great bike.
Im bout the same size so thats great to know because im considering getting this bike, these videos are awesome, im so close to being able to afford it.
I legit want one of these, really bad , it would give me a great start into biking, get me away from my current borderline abusive situation, and gain some independence in my life, I cannot work, I cant do much but watching you ride around on this, just brings me much joy, thank you for the awsome content even if you dont see this comment your doing amazing work
I just got mine this week and, for the money, it's good bike. You have to do a little wrench work the first day or so. I changed the oil to Mobil 1 4T and greased a few things on it. It shifts way better now!
The 'KP' version is a Naked Bike with standard handle bars for a more upright relaxed riding position and a Digital instrument display. That's the bike I want to get even at 78/79 ! All three versions use the same 198cc, OHC, Counter balanced, liquid cooled, EFI Engine which has an actual Oil filter cartridge and a 6 speed smooth shifting transmission !! The KPM, Cafe Racer doesn't have a normal forward looking display but rather one mounted on the gas tank which is very awakard to view and a flatter seat.
It really is a good bike. If I could offer any advice is change the oil after a few miles and check the coolant. After a while change the coolant. Im not sure what they use but it needed to be better for my Texas heat.
I am strongly considering getting this bike. It seems like a good bike to get as a beginner rider for the value. So far I have been very impressed by what I have seen.
I have bein riding a 49cc for a few year and my tao Tao scooter has about 9989 miles on it and has bein dealing a little rickety to drive so yes after a good a amount of research I think I’m gonna get this kpr 200 and it really helps that you had all of these videos so I could get a feel of what to expect
Need to do plate finder delete. You said many post ago that you had that in mind on a ta do list. Also if you start to commute with the KP200 see the RPM's you might need to do a rear gear change / just a thought
@@EDCKnives2020 You missed what my remark was aimed at. He said its fuel injected, so no need to clean the carb every time you let it sit. I said, if you drain the bowl, no reason to clean a carb.
Interesting. I guess it was only a matter of time before there were Lifan fanatics. Not to mention Kymco and SYM. Either way, isn't the GSX-R 250 or CBR 250 a better choice?
The last video. I saw on this bike ,the regulator burt out. And then later the battery exploded. The bike was written off as an insurance total loss 🙂. That's what's put me off buying this bike
Ive know plenty of people who has owned this bike and out of all the people who purchased it I've only heard one person complain and it was about the shifting into neutral was hard (that gets easier after a few oil changes). Another guy wrecked it and I'm pretty sure that was driver failure. I did have an issue with the MAP sensor but that was fixed easily by reinstalling it. There is another guy I think its bikes and beards , they ran this bike TOP RPM and hour, ran it on Honey and then on Avocado oil. They really tried to break it. In the end its up to you, I say its a great beginner bike and commuter.
I want a kpr 200 But I am trying to find a blue one and they are harder to find i don't know why and most places that do have them are charging an extra $1,000 for them
Austin Long I had the same issue. However my decision has changed course solely on the fact the 2020 x22r is for pre-order now when it used to be in stock a couple weeks back, smh. Guessing I waiting too long so instead of waiting even longer I did more research on the KPR-200 and it seems even better than my first initial choice.
X22r is gonna give you trouble with the carb after a good six months. Venom support is good and will walk you through it but EFI is cleaner and gets better power no matter elevation- it's definitely worth it, especially because I'd rather have a high quality 200 than a low(er) quality 250. Look at the peak power on both bikes and see how similar the two are.
I wish insurance had a bit more common sense built in.. A lone driver/rider adding a few small bikes for liability only should be dirt cheap, free, or even lower your policy a bit. These don't cause nearly as much liability as cars, and you can't drive your car while riding one of these.. And you can't ride 4 of these at the same time. With comprehensive I can see it rising alot though.
I just bought this bike a few weeks ago and received it after a week and a half. It is my first bike and I was already driving around the block after a few tries. It runs smooth and seems like a decent bike. People aren't giving it enough credit for it not being a top 4 brand. I only bought it after asking small engine velocity on reddit. I haven't been able to take it past 40mph tho due to the government shutting down the week I was going to get my permit....sigh. so its mainly been sitting in my garage and I occasionally drive it around my area. I look forward to driving it more when I can. Hopefully I can give a better update when that day comes!
I got the kpm200 Cafe racer haven't been able to register it yet because the DMV is closed. Well built bike, took it out a few times and really like it. Wanted the upgraded motor, not really sure the difference though
@@IggyBiggy yeah I'm not sure either, it was an unfortunate time to get the bike. If only just a week earlier haha. But yeah honestly they seem like decently built bikes. I can't complain about anything yet.
You can custom make an exhaust and I’ve seen it done before as for the brakes yes you can for sure. It would just take some time to bleed them and stuff but yes you can.
This is the perfect beginner bike. I like it cause it’s fuel injected, water cooled, six speed, and fast enough to be on the highway. I think the advantage is since people usually buy a smaller cc bike to start you can get in at a low price while still being new. It’s very comfortable
Im looking into buying this as a beginner bike ! Im exited I know NOTHING about bikes lol but I want to start somewhere. I live in Houston also by the nrg stadium. Only concern is that I am on the short side I don’t know how that will work im 5’1 😂

Its loud for no reason

@no The bike gets totaled and puts you in the hospital when you hit a deer at 50-60 mph. But for real, great little bike that I no longer have.

For the price you can’t beat it. Excellent addition to the garage. Need to try one out.
Just bought a KPM 200. Partially because of yours and other people's videos. It is the very first new vehicle I have ever bought. Super pumped!
Great to hear! good bike man
I'm looking at this bike! Thanks for the update man!
I bought the bike and put a lifan 250 motor and a raceing cdi hit 103.3
Saving for the kpr right now will be first bike
I’ve been looking at a kpr 200 and naked kp since I’ve been watching your videos I’ve decided on the kpr200 thanks for the help and demonstration

Just bought it. Should be delivered in a week🏍️
How has it been?
Do the vitacci GTO 250cc! It's a twin cylinder, and almost no one has reviewed it!
I’m trying to see if I can get a deal
It was great to see (and hear, I dig it's sound too) this one out and about again, brother, great ride along 😊✌
I just bought one because of this video, delivering on April 20th aka 4/20 😄

Just bought the KPM! I'm so pumped for this thing.
5 months later and I absolutely love it. Same power as the KPR but with kickass neo-retro styling 😎
I'd like to see a video of the kpm, I love the style.
I'm so seriously looking at that KPM!
There are a couple videos from Dorito and the Luchacabra of the KPM2pp as well as the non-fairing KP200.

I need a commuter bike for the city,
It would work out great for that
I'm considering the kpr 200 . They look to be sold out online
Drain the carb bowl when you store the bike... no more having to clean the carb.
Bike ownership 101
But it is fuel injected and this bike hates a dry gas tank.

It’s sitting in my cart now lol just waiting to save just a little more to get it. SOLD. 👍🏾
Could you make a video riding with someone on the rear at highway speeds? (55-65)
