Lifan seems to be one of the few Chinese manufactures that does not exaggerate its top speed claims. They state 75 for both the KP and KPR. They state 65 for the Mini which you also confirmed. I am hoping their enduro hits 70 as it states in the specs...
I have the expect 200 enduro and I have hit 73 down the hill and no wind but the average after 2000 miles on it is about 65 to 70 gps confirm on flat and no wind . the only downfall is up the hill sucks , where you might do 55 if you are lucky. In the other hand is a total beast of road, a lot of torque to climb rough terrains.
Lifan is actually a really good company they use to make engines for Honda motorcycles and parts in general it's basically a Honda clone there great bikes.
Here is something to think about. Engine RPM does not always mean more speed. On the KPR200, the engine puts out max torque @ 6500 RPM. When you want to accelerate, that is the engine speed you want to keep it at. If you can maintain your speed at 6500 rpm, then you can speed up the engine to go faster. Past that, you reach your max HP @ 8000 rpm. When you reach this point, you run out of torque to keep the bike moving forward and in most cases you start losing speed. Peak HP is reached when your torque is at it’s lowest point. That being said, 6500 RPM would probably be the best all around cruise/engine speed in top gear. This will give you the maximum power to get up hills etc.... You will essentially be running the engine in a torque mode. This method will get you the maximum performance out of your KP-Mini as well.
that acceleration was exhilarating and im not even riding one yet! awesome! for the price point and not having to settle for something old and dropped with miles on it; #SignMeUp !
They have this bike on Amazon right now for $2,359.00 + $299.95 shipping. I'm tempted to buy one just based off of your videos...and I've never ridden a motor cycle before.
It's a great starter bike 🏍 and not everyone is into the speed demon thing but not only is it a great starter or learning bike but it's a durable reliable bike for life Lifan spent like 30 or 40 years building bikes for Honda
wow.. such light traffic..here in ventura county, even cars on the slow lane cruise at 80mph, you need to be doing at least 85 to stay on the fast lane for a few seconds. But this is good, you'll avoid tickets. Impressive for the cheap price.. you even get clip-ons instead of a handlebar.
I own a dongfang, this blows mine out of the water. But then again mine is 50cc hehe. But that bike looks like its built pretty solid, unlike mine. Mine looks the part, but its all hollow under the plastics. (worlds smallest violin plays)
i'm glad i came across your video about the kpr200 and you live in my neck of the woods, kingwood,Tx right here. i'm gonna get me this bike soon and i do uber i make good money with uber there's a promotion going on for me to be able to afford this bike/moped i'm gonna enjoy it plus i have a honda accord and i can use this bike to go see my best friend in alvin,tx
Buy you a GTO 250 Venom motorcycle it has a 350 motor in it and its really a fast bike it gets up 105 mph. top speed that's what you need guys i'm about to buy one for $3,000. i like the video.
Lifan Definitely needs to make the KP Mini 150cc fuel injected!! That would be awesome and I believe sale would jump big time if they still could keep price of the mini at the lowest price
Hey man, found your vid linked online and I have to say I'm impressed with this lil beastie! Sounds way better than I expected, tbh. Looking for a relatively inexpensive starter/weekend/zip around town (ideally clone) bike. Won't be used for more than short rural rides. Considering electric for the powerband (if that's what it's called on those🤷♂️). I'm opposed to payments, so not looking to spend more than maybe $5-7k unless super impressed by something. I've wanted an R6 since they came out but don't wanna cry the first time I drop it sooo... 5'6", 120lbs, drive truck for a living, relatively cautious, so unfortunately well aware of crappy/distracted drivers. Would sacrifice bike looks for power gains unless it's just a troll, looks-wise Previously owned an ('06?) Yamaha YZ250F and it was fun but too tall and heavy when dumped in the woods lol. Disliked the motor at the time, not snappy as even a couple 125cc 2 strokes I'd ridden. Roundabout way to say I have a good amount of experience riding bikes and ATVs, mostly off-road. Grew up working on cars/everything with my dad so don't like paying someone for repairs unless we're both stumped. Def expecting being stranded when my cheapo whatever shorts out/burns up... Great vid, subbed. Sorry for the paragraph 🤣🤷♂️... Any recommendations on a decent starter bike?
@@SmallEngineVelocity i think it was chase on twp wheels that did a video on his mice! and he said he used to spend 150$ on mics but he found out that the panda was much better and cost far less!
Yes and you pay twice plus more for that one. Any motor vehicle that does 80 mph plus is more than enough speed with out getting tickets or acting dumb. Just my opinion.
Nice. I have some issues with my sena set up. Last time I checked it off the bike it worked but it seems to be having issues while riding. Not sure if it clips and the GoPro completely gets rid of it or what but i gotta get that figured out too before we rode together sometime soon
I guess with Alibaba parts are readily available for the Lifan, but how does it compare to the old Ninja 250's and new CBR 250's? It's always a question to ask.
I recommend if you want to buy this bike don't do amazon.com Go to countyimports.com/ If you don't like buying online call 702-351-0173 and ask for Wayne. Tell him Ceasar sent you.
What exhaust did you put on the Kpr? I found one on Amazon from KP moto club, looks just like the one you have but it says it's for kp mini, and idk if it will still fit
Hey I have. Question..is it better to get this particular bike or a falcon 250 automatic..which one would you prefer..I like the sound of changing gears unlike the constant same sound of a automatic
Jun Boo Korean hyosung. GD250r or gt650r. The 250 runs around 2000 which is not to bad and the 650 runs 4000. I’m roughly the same as you big and tall. And they both fit me.
How hard is this bike to setup from a crate? Still recommend this bike for a starter? Was thinking about this or a venom 250r or possibly life expect 200
Victor Wallace I’m 6’1 240 lbs. I have the hyosung gD250r which is basically the same height and I have no issues what so ever. The bike has plenty of power.
If you value your azz, as a fwy rider who got hit from behind by a 4 wheelr on my Ducati, let me tell you: First, Sliding down the fwy on your butt at 75 mph trying to kick your bike far enough away so it doesn't crush/grind you to death, surrounded by front/back and both sides auto's watching mesmerized, is literally NOT a good way to spend your time. It WILL however, give you a new insight into the fragility of human life on a freeway, Especially when you finally stop sliding, stand up, and literally HALF of your wallet, falls from what's left of your right rear pocket!!!! I mean HALF! with HALF length dollar bills, (credit card s unfortunately were ground away with that half of the wallet, still had my Driver's License though...:) I'm writing this to let you know, NEVER GET 100 percent confident on a freeway!
They have a 350 motor I believe in the works. Every new motor they use has to pass EPA and from what I hear it’s hard but once a motor passes they can put it in any bike they want to build.
Use CEASAR50 and get 50 bucks off. Of all the China bikes that one is probably the most refined and finished. Probably because they use it in there racing team.
How much pressure is on your arms since it's a sports bike and not a cruiser? Also can you change out the handle bars to make it sit more upright? Thanks

For a China bike it’s pretty good, not without its flaws like any bike but for the dollars pretty great

Texotic Motorsports in Houston
Could u tell me how to get an owners manual for that bike please?
How hard is this bike to setup from a crate? Still recommend this bike for a starter? Was thinking about this or a venom 250r or possibly life expect 200
Bars, battery and a levers. Mirrors too. Not hard at all. Hardest part was getting it off the crate platform.

It's been a year.. how the quality of the bike?
0-60, would you say it is around 10 seconds?
14 sec about
How many days it took to deliver the bike to you
Maybe 7 days
A 200cc that does 75 mph? How can that be?
It’s a 6 speed…
can you get risers for those handlebars?
Tomball ehh? We will ride soon
You can buy this on Amazon
What’s the website to buy?
How tall do you need to be to ride this bike upright?
I can flat foot and I am 5’ 6” tall
What's the difference between this 200 engine and their slower 200?
The lifan x-pext 200cc has a 9 to 1 compression ratio which the lifan kp and kpr 200cc has an 11 to 1
What’s the wet weight?
What can I do to get just a little more power out of iy
Standard things, full bolt ons and a tune since its efi you can squeeze more from it
