Why not spend an extra hour 1-2 houra wire brush and slap on some PR15 or ect. Brushing on even comes out nice. All that work and you skip that. You seem to like to make everything neat clean and professional. Then with no dollar spared.
Got a 91 Ford F350 nice truck but want to convert it to a four-wheel drive from 2-wheel drive has a 7.3 liter diesel in it and a 5-speed manual got any good suggestions
Greg said he was a Chevy guy then literally 2 seconds later said he was a Chrysler guy? These aren’t project car people. This isn’t a project car neither. It’s a plain Jane v6 challenger that is daily driven. Smh thought y’all were gonna find someone with a real project
I love this blue ford build! And! I laughed at the, jeep mod friendly remark!! That was the most polite way of saying, lacking from factory, or factory money pit! I know, I had 3. I think I'd be a millionaire if I hadn't lol. #teamsquarebody!
You don't have to weld the bed together? Wouldn't it be better to get a panel spotter and spot weld the panels together or at least drill a hole and do a fillet weld with a MIG?
That's what I was thinking I'm pretty sure ford beds are not bolted together like Chevys you need to weld up all the spot weld holes, I guess he did that already or something?
Awesome looking Ford, I have a 1995 F150 4x4 that I need help to get ready for my son that turned 15. But I just don't have the money to make it real stable for a new driver.
I've a 78 ,3quarters ton 4 door , short bed , I've not been able to finish , due to being disabled, have 308 rear axle with wider brakes for it . Hopefully after my neck surgery I'll be able to finish it I believe the 308 gears will help the mileage of the 460
HOPE CARRIE & GREG WERE SMART ENOUGH TO KEEP THE ORIGINAL FABRIC? AS WE ALL KNOW, WHEN BUYING A CLASSIC OR ANTIQUE, ITS ABOUT HAVING ALL THE ORIGINAL PARTS!!!
That Resto guy sounds like the one my friend had to deal with. She had a friend with a shop, and was only charging her $15!!!! An hour, for His employee's time!!! Nothing for his. His guys agreed to work a few hours a week on her car, For Cheap! And these guys were top of the line, quite a few trophies to show. But, they did collision work, not many repaints or restos. Well, she got mad at the guy, and carried her daughters wreck to his competition. Needless to say, several employees refused to help her anymore. So, after a short time, she carries the car to "This awesome young guy with a big shop! Really got his Schiff together!". The first shop replaced Quarters, Trunk pan, all body work done except maybe the hood. So the guy had the hard part done for him. Well, she gives him $10,000, and waits for Mr wonderful to finish it in his awesomeness. Lol. Two years ago by. She goes to check on her car. He's no where around, and some of her car is. But no parts he was supposed get. Cars not touched. Same for another lady that had her Dad's 68 RS/SS Camaro convertible. Part of it was there, but part wasn't. He'd sold her parts. Finally, the first gdl did get the car, 72 Monte, painted, but no one wanted to put it together after several hands. It still sits today. She didn't want to pay normal price, that $15 an hour spoiled her.
Roger Boyesen I’ve been looking on LMC for years. Never saw the bed floor and still don’t. Not sure if you have to call, but it’s not available on the site or catalog. No idea how SD got one.
what motor is this truck running? would be interesting to see more of this truck in more episodes.
The flat bed was awesome.
No, that was a lame flatbed.
@@brandonmoen6956 flatbeds on single whee trucks are all kinda meh
I'm with you. With a lot less effort and way less money that flat bed would be WAY more useful than a new bed that you are NOT gonna wanna ding up.
7 minutes out of 22 were the truck. Nice click bait advertising.
Don't see much of Stacey David any more. 20+ years doing this. Sure doesn't seem like it. I'm gettin old.
Subscribe to the channel! All past episodes are on here and all future ones will be uploaded.
@@OfficialStaceyDavid Done.
"Clapped out farm truck nobody wanted", I would have taken it with the flatbed.
I bought a 1971 f100 when I was 14 and I'm doing a frame up restoration on it,I'm about to turn 16 so I bought a 85 but I still love working on the 71
The 71 was a part of the best generation of Ford trucks I think.
I agree, though all I've got is a 92 Sonoma, that I'm working on.
Had a girl my lord in a flat bed Ford slow down to take a look at me when I was standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona
That flat bed would have made a decent old welding truck.
I liked the flatbed
I used to have a '79 Z28 and I still miss that car because it was so fun to drive even though it was an automatic transmission
love them old ford trucks good looking old truck!
Is it just me or were the bolts sticking outside the frame. Must not be meant for highboys with the 34" wide frame.
Why not spend an extra hour 1-2 houra wire brush and slap on some PR15 or ect. Brushing on even comes out nice. All that work and you skip that. You seem to like to make everything neat clean and professional. Then with no dollar spared.
I have 11 of these old fords. and couldn't be happier. but there is so much wrong with this video.

Just the thing I need to do to my 1975 F250 hi boy !
That 38 gal. tank does NOT fit a highboy

This is one long commercial
Recorded horizontally:)
Hey I waited for you to put that 38 gallon fuel tank in that narrow framed F250 4X4 that will not fit in it. I wanted to see you do the impossible.
use a 1986 bronco 2 tank i did
I was wondering about them fitting that as well.
Check suburban tank measurements
I came on here to say the same! How many gallons does the Bronco tank have?
commercial enough 2 min of work 20 min of commercials

Really help someone who really needs it with there car and truck
Can u show 38gal tank install
Loving these episodes. They inspire me to call my dad and take on some projects
Always always always buy lights before lockers for your Jeep
Chris Vela
Why? lights wont keep you from getting stuck.
It was an ironic comment
Lights will help with the police.
😁😁👍👍
I guess it could be accurate to admit that Stacey is in the "clapped-out"- pickup truck recycling business lol
So awesome I need a new bed for 72' sport thx
Aren't the panels spot welded from the be factory?
Yes absolutly

Now they need to offer this in a short bed version!
Would of bought the short bed YEARS ago, I would think the short bed is more desired !
@@REVNUMANEWBERN they are. I have a 68 short box. The long box are easier to find and cost less than the short box.
Didn't paint the frame? Bad Stacey!
On my place the Flat Bed would work, the New Bed wouldn't.
difference from work truck and collector truck
Does LMC have entire bed and bed floor for dodge dakota and ran?
9:30, for a nice "clean look" as it is still sitting there all floppy and not attached to anything. ;-)
nice new bed heads up its in my imagination cool info to buy products though
It would have been a good time to clean the frame.
Don't think they plan on longevity etc. Just a bunch of sponsorship products to be showcased then onto the next.
That's bad! Love to have that old ford
Lmc costs too damn much. I need driver and passenger side complete bed panels for an 83 C10 and they’re $612 plus $150 oversized shipping charge
I liked the flatbed
Ill take the flatdeck if its takin up space ?

The new Jeeps are rebadged Fiats, I wouldn't mind having an older one from the '80s or '90s
Getting her done
Man I hope Stacey buys a Bronco and puts a donor Mustang coyote V8 stick in it. That would just be awesome
Awsome tips thanks
The new CJs also have trouble with the "death wobble "especially at highway speed
I would love to meet you one day but I don't think it would never happen. But you're the best. Never get tired of looking at your shows.

Very cool truck. Definitely KEEP THOSE WHEELS !!!
Awesome video as always thanks for tips tricks and parts bin. Love seeing new things.
That's mint.
Het Stacy, if you get rid of those wheel I want them.
Like Muhammad Ali says I'm a bad man you are a bad man.
must be nice, no body has much of anything for dodge trucks
I’m sorry for that too. But I have learned that dodge trucks of old are junk. Great drive trains but everything else is junk.
That's badassery!
very well done thanx ehhh
You are the best 😘❤️
i like the mach 5 on the bench
It's a Dodge Challenged, it's like putting a suit on a cow
I really like your truck, and want to buy one someday.
YEEEEESSSSS!!!!!
stacey david i want taht truck get ahold of me
what ab dodge guys
You can't spell about?
They're fat and lazy.

the bed side panels are really thin, ahh its a ford anyway their made like that
From LMC they're thin, from they factory the Ford beds are a lot thicker than that. Now with that thin stuff on there it's as weak as a Chevrolet bed.
the floor of the bed isn't available anymore?
Roger Boyesen I’ve been looking on LMC for years. Never saw the bed floor and still don’t. Not sure if you have to call, but it’s not available on the site or catalog. No idea how SD got one.
Pretty sure the floor is the same up to 96
They have it. Longbed only
