Full Interior Upgrade for the 1973 Ford Ranger - F100 Ep: 6

- On this week's episode we're turning our attention to the inside of the cab. A supercharged coyote engine doesn't do you very good if you don't have a place to sit and drive it! We're fabricating our seat rails for our TMI seats, and installing our custom console. We're also cleaning up our wiring so that we can install our Autometer LCD gauges, getting all of our Rockford Fosgate audio hooked up and much, much more. Have any questions? Leave them in the comments! Make sure to subscribe because we have a new video dropping every week!

I love the mix of modern inside and clean old exterior
Single biggest and best find to date is that shifter!! EXACTLY what I wanted for my 79 F100. Definitely going to be watching all of the vids!! Thanks guys!!
Thank you for the support!
I AGREE WITH YOU 100 % ON THE WIRING HARNESS. SOMETHING TO CONSIDER.
You guys did a sweet job on this interior! I like the details such as the brackets for the seatbelts. What a great idea and addition.
Thanks so much!
wow! I have a f100 two wheel drive and 4x4 step side fords waiting to rebuild for almost 20 years. Just need money and time to work on. now that's impressive.
Just chip away at it one small project at a time! You got this!
Giving new life to old vehicles are the best
How am I just finding this channel!? Awesome work!
Welcome aboard! We got new episodes coming out every Wednesday! Hope you tag along!
PLEASE BRING BACK AUTO SOUND AND SECUITY MAGAZINE!!!! THAT WAS MY FAVORITE MAGAZINE TO LEARN ABOUT WHAT IS NEW IN THE AUTO SOUND INDUSTRY.
Unfortunately we're not in control of that publication, but we'll pass it on to our friends who work in the magazine industry!
Awesome work!! Love all the upgrades from the seats, carpet, custom made counsel, and to the dash... Great job!!!!
Glad you like it! Thank you!!
wow, that interior is bad ass. But that dash is something else. Amazing.
Thank you!
Truck is looking awesome but I would put that fuse box upside down for easy access. In case you ever have any problems in the future.
Same thing I was thinking
Love seeing new resto on old cars.
Lots of cool ideas and tips for my bumpside build. Thanks for the content.
Thanks for stopping by and checking it out!
Thanks for the awesome information. I am going to be doing my interior in the coming weeks. Lots of good ideas here!
Glad it was helpful! Hope the project goes well!
Man I want my 97 Astro van modernized. A full restomod project. I’d pay to have it done. But I think I’ll be doing it myself
Just work on it piece by piece and it will get there in no time!
You smashed it out the park with the quality of that interior. Great video production quality as well. Just keep making videos like this and the audience will grow, looking forward to the next episode.
Thank you! We're getting all of our final exterior components bolted on next week so we can get this thing rolled back onto a lift to finish the build up. We hope you like it!
Beautiful work. greetings from Argentina
This channel is going to explode in subs
We're just trying to put out some quality content! We'll take whatever comes with it. We hope you liked the video!

Thank you! Just wait until this thing starts ripping up the streets!
Love the modern in the f100
It really makes it feel like you're sitting in a new king ranch!
so you guys are in Florida. I got to get you guys to custom thing to my truck. thus is crazy. up to date to modern tech.
Shoot us a message on Instagram if you want a quote for the project!
That's so nice super nice great work
Thank you! Cheers!
I've been searching for a channel this good for so long ....
Thanks so much! I hope you like the rest of our content too!
Seats looks amazing.
Thank you!
Those sixth generation Ford F-series pickups are very rare nowadays.
This truck is for sale!! 🤷🏼♂️ if you know anyone looking
WoW guys, just wow!
thank you!
now thats professional grade work!
Amazing transformation
Check out our lifted C10 LS swap. We have a full updated interior coming for that one in our next episode! If you liked this one on the F100, you're going to love that one too!
that shifter is pretty cool. haven't seen anything like that
THE LATEST TREND I AM SEEING. IS THE WIRE HARNESSS IS LOCATED IN THE TRUNK. IN CARS. WHICH MAKES SENSE. BECAUSE OF THE SPACE. AND THE AMOUNT OF TECHNOLOGY BEING USED TODAY. A TRUCK DOES NOT HAVE THAT OPTION. I AM THINKING BEHIND THE BUCKET SEATS. AS AN INSTALL OPTION. THANKS FOR LETTING ME SHARE.
Thanks for sharing!
the stereo and dash setup 🤤🤤
Thanks brother, we’ve had alot of people wanting that set up.
Mikey wearing the right shirt!
Gotta rep the best!
Looks like I’ll be sending my corvette to you guys.
Shoot us a message on IG if you're interested in a project!
Nice work Mikey glad to see you continuing to build. Let me take it for a spin when it’s done 😂
Nice to see Rockford is still in the game. The Punch Power and bridged speakers I had in 95 were insane...vibrabrated all mirrors down and shook the glass. Was in my car less than 36 hours before it was all stolen. No worries, I know people, between the theft and damage I made money off that theft lol.
😜 she is really coming along very nicely guys
Thank you! We're super stoked to get this thing on the dyno and see how much power we can get her putting down.
I want to do this to my truck but unfortunately i missed this amazing skill set 😂
Hell yeah! That is one sweet looking, functional interior you guys created.
Always aiming for that form & function! We hope you liked the video!
Ha the D shaft but for real guys that is stupid nice!
Thank you!!
Gorgeous truck. Love it. 😎
Glad you like it!
Nice I would love one of those
Awesome, great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
God I wish you all could do my 1988 K1500. I’d love to see it
Maybe one day!
Yeah? Well I will gladly drop off my baby and you can call me to pick it up
No electric windows wow! Also what about the defroster on rainy days without a heater core it's not gonna work well. Don't get me wrong this truck and the interior is beautiful great work.
Thanks for showing the video some love! This definitely won't be the customer's daily driver. It's more of a fair-weather show car that he can use to help promote his company! We know what a pain driving in the rain with no ac can be, especially down here in South Florida. But this truck probably won't be seeing too much of that.
I love how this 😮💨😮💨🫶🏽🫶🏽🥵🥵🥵
Great show. Amazing truck. Quality work. But not a fan of a digital dash in restomods.
Fair enough!
It's georgious ❤❤❤
Thank you!!
@@SalvagetoSavage any more trucks , I have a 1970 f100
That interior looks so dope great work.
Appreciate it! We hope you like next week's episode too!
interior of this truck is epic, and so comfortable
Have you guys thought about fabricating and selling that seat bracket system?
We normally do one-off builds - between when they need to mount on the seat and where they need to mount on the floor, there's so much variation that goes in to the brackets. It would be hard to create a one-bracket-fits-all solution!
Desde Puerto Rico, un trabajo excelente 💪💪💪💪💪
Gracias! Deseamos que te disfrutan nuestros otros videos tambien!
I remember when my dash looked like that. Lol
New favorite channel.
Awesome interior!!! I want to do that with my truck as well. Wanted to know if you could provide where you purchased some of the parts you used like the phone charging area, stereo and most of the modern tech??
Should have mounted the fuse block upside-down so that you could get to the fuses.
Doesn't the stock base & bracket for the manual type shifter looks a bit 'light' and low....??..also for all these new electronics ,it would good to install a few 12V laptop fans to ventilate that hot air from under & behind that dash..keep these beauties cool & ventilated..this truck is just gorgeous and comfortable..,perfect for a long cross country road trip from NY to Montana only driving country side back roads..!!
Hers too whistling diesel buying one of you restored trucks!🍸
As long as he's got a big enough check
Nice job
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice my favorite ford f100 is 73-75 great build cool/great ideas
Love the fart ports in the seat... Nice touch 🤣
That is wicked nice.
Thank you!!!
Man we’re do I get these electronic gauge clusters ? The interior is badass tho ..defiantly changes the whole feel/vibe of the truck !!
Excellent job well done 💯💯💯
I have a dumb question for everyone- I have an older 2000 F-150 5.4 Triton V8 that was given to me and I plan for it to be my project truck. It needs a LOT of work inside and out, and the interior is totally shot and screwed up. Would I be able to give the interior a total new makeover with everything upgraded, including a whole new upgraded dashboard?
It should be fun changing the fuses without it mounted upside down.
Frustration is half the fun of working on cars
Need one 🥰
Would of liked to seen a full custom door panel.
If you bring your F100 in, we can make sure it gets some full custom panels!
Like a new version of gas monkey garage without all the drama! Love it! Sweet build btw!
Glad you like it! Thank you so much for the support and feedback!
Hermoso el interior, pero bien pinche el color de la troca
Where are you located?
The LCD display panel looks amazing!!
Great work guys!!
Thanks! We're in South Florida!
currently remodling my 1977 ford f100 and i found that the seats u guys got would actually fit my truck was hoping u could tell me where i could find those exact seats u found cuz those would look great in my truck
Those seats came direct from TMI!
Just wondering if yall made or bought the dash to hold the screens I like the classic clean look of it almost factory feel
We custom made it in house!
How much would this cost? I'm buying a 1995 gmc sierra and I want to rebuild the interior
Keep finding these older videos, well done Gentlemen.
This one is less than a day old! We got a whole series if you want to catch up!
@@SalvagetoSavage thanks for your reply, YUP I do and I will. Thanks
Great job guys! Just a quick question, what brand steering wheel and steering column did you use for this? That'd be perfect for my own truck build.
This is by far my favorite Dentside build. Quick question if you don't mind. Is that carpet custom or just a carpet kit for a 73-79? If it is a kit, can you tell me which brand it is? It would be perfect for my build and looks like great quality.
Thanks so much! This one wasn't a kit. It was custom cut and laid by our friend Chino here in South Florida!
@@SalvagetoSavage Appreciate the reply! That makes sense. The fit was way too nice to be a kit. Chino is talented!
Why not mount the fuse panel facing down so it is accessible?
The fuses are easily accessible through the glovebox opening
@@SalvagetoSavage nice! Awesome build y’all!
Do you guys have links to any of the components you are using (including the seats)? Very cool what you did here!
FC from Thailand.🇹🇭🙏🏽
Thanks for the support, from Florida!
The interior looks amazing.
So comfy!
I can’t find that flatscreen cluster on there site none of them are for a 77 how did you guys get it
It's an autometer gauge with a custom dash & bezel that we made in house
How much would it cost go get the exact same interior with sound, shifter and gauges?
Shoot us a message on IG. All of it was custom, even the TMI pieces
Would one of those electronic shifters work on something a s old as a 4R70W by chance or would I need to upgrade to a 6R80 or something newer? 🤔
I believe the 4r70w is electronically controlled so you should be able to hook one of these up. I'd give Lokar a shout and just double check with them before pulling the trigger
@@SalvagetoSavage Thanks! Will do :D
I know my truck would love to be in one of these eps 😭🤣
absolutely sick work! i wish i had money lol
Thanks!
very very nice.
Awesome content
Freakin beautiful truck. Man o man!!! Love me some early Rangers!!
Thank you! It really came together well. Our upholstery guy really did an amazing job with all the finishing touches!
Nice setup up until the automatic want to be manual shifter.
I like your work guys do you guys do it for yourselves or you guys actually have a place where you could work on other people's cars ? I got the same year & model of truck I would love to bring it to you guys!
We're a full fabrication shop. If you're interested in a project, shoot us a message on instagram!
8:39 that's all your gonna have left after you get the bill for this bad boy
But worth every green back he had to make, beg, plead, borrow, or steal to get her done!! These guys are fricn amazing and I want them to do the interior in one of my projects soon. I think they would knock mine clear out of the park and can’t wait to see what they could do to it.
Anyone know where these guys are located at? Or at least what state they’re in?
How much would a build like this even average? And do most shops like yours do starlights?
between 175-250k
I have a 1973 F1 hundred and I wanted to know if I could do the same thing to my truck
Yup! Will enough patience and fabrication!
Man im jealous, that is a beautiful interior for a beautiful truck.
Chingon su trabajo 🙋🏻♂️👍🏼👍🏼
Damm giving me ideas for what to do with my 90 bronco dash 🤔
What subwoofer box and size of woofer did you go with?
I wonder if those grommets dig into the spine at all?
Welldone ...wonderful..

Thank you!
this is amazing
