At least for the solo experience, anarchy is easily a top 3. The damage is obviously much lower than something like GO but being able to pop some shots on the boss/clones and focus on dodging the lightning is too good to ignore. In a team however, definitely a much different story
Ironically it isn't as bad as he makes it look. According to the Aegis spreadsheet, it has 2.8M in reserves if you use the uncharged shot, and if you can hit all the crystals of the charged shot (on something like Raneiks) it can do even better, but it still sucks and shouldn't be something you should ever use for boss dps ever on anything.
Cloudstrike (with catalyst) is even better, triple tap = no reloading on crits and the lightning storm kills the clones and blinds and jolts the boss/others with seasonal mods. Does it so well you can stun lock him and keep him from calling down as much lightning. Pair it with buzzard adept (regular) with kinetic tremors + fourth times the charm and then a dps GL. Lightning kills clones, stuns boss, tremors stuns boss then arc holster reloads Cloudstrike to start back over. When out of ammo just unload your GL (bait and switch procs from this) and thank me later. 😏
Can I ask a noob question? Is that the spot to do the DPS and why vs above the Bunker near the steps? No Outbreak Prime test? Love the video lots of time invested .
Bunker is better for survivability, boiler is better for aim. If you watch some of the day 1s, you still take some damage from the anomaly on the boiler, it is just enough less on the boiler that you can survive in a well, while from on top of the bunker you only deal with boss damaging you. People prefer the boiler because it is closer, so you are less likely to hit the wrong enemy, less likely to miss, and in particular less likely to miss things with travel time. Also, this video makes a large number of large mistakes, I would recommend either 1) using Aegis's spreadsheet (Aegis links to it in his youtube profile) which will be EXTREMELY accurate, or if you want something specifically about Vesper's Host Kree has a video with fewer mistakes. But the TLDR is in no particular order 1) grand overture with actually full ammo going into the encounter, 2) whisper of the worm if you don't miss literally half your shots, 3) still hunt + autoloading or reconstruction rockets no hunter or nighthawk required (this is what people tend to use for witness if they can't dodge his attacks with whisper), 4) a gl with good perks + a good special weapon, 5) anarchy + a good special weapon. All of those should easily net you good damage, with 2 being the only one which truly requires more skill than I would assume anyone who made it to the final encounter would have proven to have. Hope this helps!
i'll see what i can do... the salvations grip amps up other sources of damage for the most part since it creates all the crystals so some of the damage gets rerouted to teammates
Aegis puts the total damage for salvation's grip at 4.9M, but that is with a 37s time to empty, much longer than you get against Raneiks, but it is also (probably) against Riven, so only a single target, so it is hard to tell. If I end up testing it I will let you know the numbers I get =)
i think you need to try salvations grip again, definitely didn't do a very good job testing it's damage. you did way too much jumping around and wasting damage time, and you're supposed to let the charged grenade hit the floor underneath him so it can spawn the mass of crystals at his feet. Then you CAN shoot an uncharged grenade at him to deal extra damage. (edit: after rewatching i notice you did start spawning crystals, but not quickly enough to really take advantage.)
according to the Aegis spreadsheet, 4.9M with Facet of Command and Facet of Ruin, but keep in mind that Aegis does a lot more rigorous damage testing, so all of the numbers are ballooned, with tlord at 6M for a similar time to empty, Grand Overture at 7.5M for a similar time to empty, and Whisper of the Worm at 7M for a similar time to empty.
Thunderlord has even more potential with actiun war rig, but so does grand overture with hazardous proportion. You should've tested those exotics with the armor.
There are plenty of mistakes he makes that affect damage, but Actium War Rig wouldn't have given him any more damage since he runs out of ammo and Actium only does partial reloads over time. Tlord is correct, everything else is better than he gets.
Going to try my best not to let my frustration cause me to write something along the lines of "your methodology is bad and you should feel bad", but there are a lot of mistakes you made with this video that makes certain weapons seem much worse/better than they really are. If you need to sanity check any of your numbers in the future, Aegis does a good job of doing extremely precise measurements for his dps spreadsheet. The fact that no one used tlord during contest mode when it should be dead easy should tell you it isn't as good as you think it is. One of the biggest problems with this is you put it forward as something to show what you should run for dps, but you don't include swap dps in any way shape or form. You also don't include the entire second half of the damage phase, which screws over both weapons with too high total damage and too low total damage for arbitrary reasons. You also missed a ton of crits with weapons that rely upon crits. In terms of things which could beat Thunderlord if you gave them a chance, here are the specific corrections: Grand Overture: you didn't go into the damage phase with full ammo, while you did with everything else. Pre-firing for stacks of rockets loaded only helps if you are going to run out of time, and you didn't even use the second half of the damage phase, so you weren't running out. You didn't even launch the last few loaded rockets in your mag, so you didn't even use all your ammo. This is the real objective ease of use winner assuming you are using well (and if you aren't I don't see Thunderlord being easy either) just due to having enough additional damage if you use it right that you will have at least one fewer damage phases. Whisper: out of all the shots you fired, half of them either 1) hit the wrong target, 2) didn't crit, or 3) missed entirely. I'm not expecting you to hit every shot, but based off of Kree's video (he *still* misses shots), he got 3.9M with Whisper and 3.2M with the same setup with Thunderlord. Also, you miss out on 7 shots due to wiping before the second half of the damage phase, so you are missing out on more than 630,000 (90,000*7) damage there as well. Choir of One: not part of the video, but basing it off of Kree's video, and if you are getting that level of damage with a secondary it should tell you you are doing something wrong. The following don't beat Thunderlord *on their own*, but they are swap DPS weapons, some of which you used completely wrong, others of which just aren't represented in your video: Anarchy: I saw in your comments that "[your] teammate did a slower pace with anarchy to see the difference and the overall damage was more from [your] efforts", but that either isn't true, or he did something wrong. Again referencing Kree's video, remove 15% (what weaken from GLs grants this season) and you get 2.3M on his damage. I have also seen a Titan solo 2 phase puppeteer with tcrash + anarchy, so that should also tell you you are doing something wrong. If you space out your shots to make sure there are two on him at all times during both halves of the damage phase you will get somewhere around Kree's number plus or minus a bit. Dragon's Breath: it deals more damage based off of stacks of Composite Propellant. You should only manually reload when you miss a shot, and only fire when you have 5 stacks. Parasite: usually used as a swap dps weapon due to its high burst damage even without stacks. The reload just takes forever, so you put on a single holster mod and dump special ammo in between. Things that should(tm) beat tlord but I don't have any clips of anyone doing it, so might be wrong: still hunt + auto-loading rocket (on warlock/titan, so no nighthawk buffs, if you include nighthawk it is a definite) - this is what I do for witness Microcosm if you deal any other sort of damage for a bit of time so you can use the rest of your ammo with your second super edge transit + any sniper rifle Leviathan's Breath if you don't miss your freaking shots and not full draw some of your shots Finally, you tested everything at its lowest possibilities (no hazardous propulsion for grand overture as an example), which means that TLord which doesn't get any buffs (war rig would just get you to run out of ammo faster, wouldn't increase your damage), gets an advantage it generally wouldn't actually have.
I also want to see a Titan with Actium War Rig and Xeno because it just did 1.7…. on a warlock who has to reload. I wonder if it could break 2.5 mil with reserves? Almost 3? 24 shots with full reserves 😈
To be fair.... using ONLY Anarchy isn't how you do that. I get why you did it, but any Damage Over Time weapons are just to increase damage in the background. A better test would be to check damage with something fairly static, like beloved, and then beloved + anarchy.
kenzilbaptiste2519 He’s saying he should of tested it the way it’s intended you bozo 🤡. I’d just like to file a formal ethics complaint, courtesy of all Two-Tailed Fox users? You titled it “Salvation’s Grip”… which I can forgive, but don’t do bae wrong by missing almost two entire shots @ 15:14 (three rockets per shot, twice only the last jolt rocket one hit lol) of the magazine due to jumping/missing the boss due to teleport. Crazy it still did that much DPS as it is. I’ll bet that’s an easy 1.7 mil with reload mods + max reserves + no missed shots. 🤔🤔🤔

Agreed. Instead of just showing the damage phases, he could’ve just had some dialogue on where he placed the weapon along with pros and cons of using it.
this isn't a very good video to show case what's best sure some of the placements and damage is fine but some of the others are brought down because of you're gameplay...Like Winterbite, you shot almost a full clip at an empty spot where the boss used to be or Deathbringer (5 missed shots) wasting dmg potential also, that's not how you use Anarchy
I can agree. He missed so much damage with deathbringer, I saw so many shots literally not even touch the boss. He missed a lot of shots with other weapons as well. I’m not trying to bash profane he’s a great guy, just the testing was very inconsistent. @savethelegos No offense to profane, but I just think he’s not the greatest with aiming don’t think it was on purpose. You can tell by watching the gameplay, idk if he’s on controller but that would make sense why his movement and aim is so sloppy. Feel like these tests are better on mouse, way more accuracy and better movement.
if I were going to get conspiratorial (I don't actually believe this) I would say he did this as a propaganda video for tlord, since he clearly likes it, and if you don't miss your shots it is clear that it still sucks relative to all the other actual possibilities.
@@ProfaneProductions I suspect I have burned any bridges with all my critiques, but if you stand on the bunker rather than the barrel you get shot less. You can also slow down a bit if you need to. I put on targetting mods for contest mode.

@ProfaneProductions Don’t listen to this bozo basement dweller. If you want real feedback I’ll give it to you. I think you were very inconsistent with your game play, you missed a lot of shots with weapons, deathbringer being one of the worst, anarchy is a damage over time weapon, you shoot a couple shots and swap weapons, it’s more of a rotating weapon to do damage with and it’s very good, shot multiple shots and missed with a lot of weapons, died some times, and took too long to shoot and wasted a lot of time during the damage phase. I think you needed to take your time more and care more about accuracy and quality to get a more accurate account for the damage output of weapons.

@@hydraslayer8469please shut up
At least for the solo experience, anarchy is easily a top 3. The damage is obviously much lower than something like GO but being able to pop some shots on the boss/clones and focus on dodging the lightning is too good to ignore. In a team however, definitely a much different story
You were just tickling the boss with that first GL
yeah lol its not really known as being a big dps weapon anyways
Ironically it isn't as bad as he makes it look. According to the Aegis spreadsheet, it has 2.8M in reserves if you use the uncharged shot, and if you can hit all the crystals of the charged shot (on something like Raneiks) it can do even better, but it still sucks and shouldn't be something you should ever use for boss dps ever on anything.
Leviathan may not be the best option but it actually has the unique ability to kill the clones while damaging the boss
The thunder is not fatal when you on any object
@@hydraslayer8469 thanks
But how good is the salvations gripa gainst the servitor boss?
Can u do dps test to the servitor boss too?
i'll see what i can do... the salvations grip amps up other sources of damage for the most part since it creates all the crystals so some of the damage gets rerouted to teammates
@@ProfaneProductions uh... not if your teammates aren't the ones breaking the crystals? If you don't attack you can't steal damage, simple as that.
Aegis puts the total damage for salvation's grip at 4.9M, but that is with a 37s time to empty, much longer than you get against Raneiks, but it is also (probably) against Riven, so only a single target, so it is hard to tell. If I end up testing it I will let you know the numbers I get =)
I just ran this using a dinky hammerhead for damage, wished I watched this sooner and knew thunderlord melted like this
Must be some new hidden ornament for salvations grip to look like two tailed fox
i think thats the default look
@ProfaneProductions hes saying that because at 14:54 you have the two-tailed labeled as the salvation grip lol
If you run a Div with 2 whisperers you can do a lot more dps and will keep ammunition high.
i think you need to try salvations grip again, definitely didn't do a very good job testing it's damage. you did way too much jumping around and wasting damage time, and you're supposed to let the charged grenade hit the floor underneath him so it can spawn the mass of crystals at his feet.
In terms of things which could beat Thunderlord if you gave them a chance, here are the specific corrections:
Grand Overture: you didn't go into the damage phase with full ammo, while you did with everything else.
The following don't beat Thunderlord *on their own*, but they are swap DPS weapons, some of which you used completely wrong, others of which just aren't represented in your video:
Anarchy: I saw in your comments that "[your] teammate did a slower pace with anarchy to see the difference and the overall damage was more from [your] efforts", but that either isn't true, or he did something wrong.
Things that should(tm) beat tlord but I don't have any clips of anyone doing it, so might be wrong:
still hunt + auto-loading rocket (on warlock/titan, so no nighthawk buffs, if you include nighthawk it is a definite) - this is what I do for witness
Microcosm if you deal any other sort of damage for a bit of time so you can use the rest of your ammo with your second super
edge transit + any sniper rifle
Leviathan's Breath if you don't miss your freaking shots and not full draw some of your shots
Finally, you tested everything at its lowest possibilities (no hazardous propulsion for grand overture as an example), which means that TLord which doesn't get any buffs (war rig would just get you to run out of ammo faster, wouldn't increase your damage), gets an advantage it generally wouldn't actually have.
Gave you a like because you used an entire run just to test Salvation's Grip.
1:20 yo! Dream team right here!
is this contest, or normal? or master.

Ah yes salvations, my favorite rocket launcher :3
I also want to see a Titan with Actium War Rig and Xeno because it just did 1.7…. on a warlock who has to reload. I wonder if it could break 2.5 mil with reserves? Almost 3? 24 shots with full reserves 😈
I also wonder about warlock vesper chest in well and xeno
At the end of your Grand Overture you left off your last 2x missile strike. You could have done more damage
To be fair.... using ONLY Anarchy isn't how you do that. I get why you did it, but any Damage Over Time weapons are just to increase damage in the background. A better test would be to check damage with something fairly static, like beloved, and then beloved + anarchy.
everyone knows how to use that exotic ..the POINT of the video is EXOTIC VS the BOSS

Agreed. Instead of just showing the damage phases, he could’ve just had some dialogue on where he placed the weapon along with pros and cons of using it.
this isn't a very good video to show case what's best
sure some of the placements and damage is fine but some of the others are brought down because of you're gameplay...Like Winterbite, you shot almost a full clip at an empty spot where the boss used to be or Deathbringer (5 missed shots) wasting dmg potential

I can agree. He missed so much damage with deathbringer, I saw so many shots literally not even touch the boss. He missed a lot of shots with other weapons as well.
