I broke so many guns when i first started out teching. A pro tip really is: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Too late, gun is now broken
I remember the days where I struggled to put an SSG spring in when I first started working on gearboxes. Now I do DSG’s n stuff
Please do a video on version 3 gearbox issue where the trigger clicks on semi instead of shooting
Try the modify anti reversal latches, they have a spring keeper and the have a slot in the end of the shaft for a flat head screwdriver to easily decompress the gearbox before opening
Thx gun shops said i couldn't do cuz all the internals would pop out and have to take it to professionals but i can prove em wrong now cuz i just did it very helpful vid!
Thanks for the videos man, I've been learning teching from them, First and only GB I worked on is my krytac, I'm glad it was, some of the difficult things on your video don't apply on them, the ARL is really easy to put together and the quick change spring saved me from an exploding GB
You made the video!!!!!! I love you!
Good tutorial!
I've always wondered after watching countless vidoes of reassemblies of gearboxes in which everyone does it slightly different; does it matter in what position you leave the sector gear in when you close the gearbox back up?
Class of 2014 ftw
My first experience? A JG MP5 totaly disassembled and my friend saying "can you put this together"?
And a tech tip for you: make small clips out of sheet metal in a U or J shape. They can hold down anti-reversal latch, trigger, tappet plate or cables.
Also, you talked about sliding the V3 trigger in a gearbox when it's already almost put back together; can you do a video about that? Or maybe answer it in a Q&A
Great work you do here man
The V3 trigger part is pretty self explanatory when you have it in front of you. Close the gearbox back up, but leave the bottom just slightly apart. Drop the 2 posts into the bottom side of the gearbox, then angle it up and into the top half. Hard to explain, easy to do really
Great video! The trigger is always the part that messes me up. Springs pop off and when I get the cover almost on, the freaking trigger jumps again.
make a small clip out of sheet metal in a J or U shape. Slide it behind the trigger (so it covers the back extention). Once the shell halfs are almost together, remove the clip
My 1st time: totally no idea what im doing. Had to check vids about it. Put it back together, does not cycle. Ended to be sent to a tech.
2nd time: time to upgrade on my own. Seemed all fine, ended up not feeding properly, compression loss, massively drop on expected fps (from 500 to 280fps). Sent to a tech again. Worked fine (forgot to put delayer chip, hence massive fps drop due to tappet not being engaged properly). Reached expected fps.
3rd time: PENDING
hi i Disassembeald my v2 gearboox and i put eavrithing back like it was.I closed it but the gearbox shell just wont go back all the way, there is like 2 cm of a gap where i have to put my motor back but the gap is to big for it.
i need advice
*laughs in quick change spring guide*
its the anti reversal latch that pisses me off. i slacken the spring off a little, the lever still works but it doesnt push the bevel gear over
Great info. Thanks
What trigger was that you oil out
Does anyone know what the stock spring size would be in a stock lancer tactical LT12TG2?
What is the best gearbox for high stress builds v2
Can you do a spring change without taking the gearbox apart?
Not on this style gearbox. You can on gearboxes that have a "quick change spring" feature
Bru do you work on Systema PTW AEGS?
Have you ever opened your your vector those things look super challenging
I have, many times. They’re really not that bad; everything come apart easily and fits together very well.
@@TheAirsoftTech really uts gearbox is in like a v shape right. How's that work
It’s extremely easy to take down. Only real problem is there are tons of screws both to get the gearbox out and for the shell itself.
I’m having an issue with air nozzle to hopup air loss. The nozzle I’m currently using doesn’t go far enough into the hopup unit when fully in battery, but if I use a longer nozzle, it doesn’t come far enough back and blocks bbs from feeding. If anyone can help me that would be great
Update on my last comment. I figured out how to fix my issue. I just had to shave down the front of my tappet plate a little. Easy fix
Could you just not remove your spring guide and spring before removing your gearbox to make that easier??
No. Lonex V2 doesn’t have a QCS.
If you have a quick change spring system can you remove the spring first?
Yes that is what you are supposed to do with a quick change spring gearbox
