- In this tutorial i show you how to access the bootloader, recovery mode, barcode, restart bootloader, etc on your Google Pixel 1, 2, 3 as well as well as the XL version. In the recovery mode (Android Recovery) you will be able to wipe data / factory reset, reboot to bootloader, apply update from ADB, apply update from SD card, mount/system, view recovery logs, run graphics test, run local test, etc. Hope this helps thanks for watching.

My Google Pixel 3 XL is repeatedly rebooting itself. I tried to go to Recovery Mode, but when I press the volume buttons to change from Fastboot Mode my phone goes back to rebooting. Is there a reason why my phone is constantly rebooting/unable to change to Recovery Mode? Help would be much appreciated!

Thanks so much! My pixel 3 xl was stuck in a boot loop. Right before it was in a loop, my phone went crazy and called 911. Then went into a boot loop. This fixed it!

I can get into boot loader but my volume keys aren't changing the selection, the phone just resets back into boot loop. Does anyone know another way to get around this?

My pixel ia still stuck on Google Icon Maybe its called bootloop after selecting recovery mode
For me the above steps did not work but another one worked which solved this horrible issue. I will list it below for the people who are still unable to resolve the issue:
1. Try booting into safe mode: Press and hold the power button until the "Power off" message appears. Tap and hold the "Power off" message until "Reboot to safe mode" appears, then tap "OK". In safe mode, your phone will only run the core applications, and not any third-party apps. If the phone doesn't restart in safe mode, it is likely that one of your installed apps is causing the issue.
2. After your phone is in safe mode (Which will not show any other third party apps or run them) You should go to settings and then click on "Apps & notifications" menu. After that uninstall from there almost all the third party apps you have installed.
3. After you have uninstalled all the third party apps, now restart the phone simply by pressing the power button (Simple restart). The phone will restart without the safe mode.
4. After your phone restarts it will stop rebooting and work properly.
(Note: This option is different from the Factory reset option as it does not delete all the data you have saved in the phone rather just the third party apps. It is quit possible that your phone is rebooting due to some third party app).
I hope you phone gets fixed!
Please in case of you hard factory reset and you get stocked unlocking the phone because WiFi or cellular data doesn't seem to connect

None of these options worked. My Pixel 1 XL is still black. There was a point a week ago where it was showing that the battery was full. But now it doesn't even do that. And none of these operations in this video had any effect. The phone stays black through everything.

It shows the device state is locked also. I have done the recovery mode but it only keeps on restarting and Mobile is still not opening. You will need to perform a factory data reset and permanently delete all data on the device.
I'll find out tomorrow morning if this worked. My old broken screen phone has a 6 am alarm. If it goes off, I'll know something went wrong :)

flash full rom, download Android pie last version or beta 5 full rom and install. there is a flashall.bat in the zip that you must extract

Well, I think I have done some damage to mine.
I flashed Graphene OS to a 3a to play with and attempted to flash the stock rom back to the device, but somehow corrupted the device. after a reset, I cannot actually do anything haha
I did everything in the video no problem, but recovery mode just brings me back to the bootloader.

If you do a factory reset, all data on your device will be permanently deleted, however entering recovery mode does not delete data.
