Far and away the best pad I've owned. That inflation sack makes for such an easy setup at camp! No more trying to inflate a pad while out of breath at altitude.
Thanks for the idea! Once Cali gets a bit of chill in the air, I'll make another one of these. It'll be pretty similar, but with the quilt swapped for a warmer bag, and a couple extra layers of insulation. Once the snow hits, then the kit includes crampons/ice ax as well as proper gloves and a hat.
HELL YEAH! This is my guy, not just some outdoor gear guy showing me whoever is paying them that week.
Really helpful thanks
Informative and beneficial video
Love those Tenba cable pouches!
They are literally the best bags for this stuff! Thanks for the recommendation. If anyone else wants one, they're available here: amzn.to/3Yq5wRg
Greetings Mark, nice video, well explained and some good quality gear. Anyone you encounter in need of assistance is in good hands. 73, KI6SLA
Thanks Mike! Great getting to camp with you at the SoCal SOTAfest weekend, too! Your chasing setup for 2m was pretty darn impressive.
Great setup. I love the Nemo Tensor pad. Great for side sleepers.

What about self defense?
😂 Only scary things in the woods are people, and the best defense is awareness and a good sense of humor.
