Catchment View Track: Revisiting that glute-busting climb from Xterra Whareroa

There is a final climb in the Xterra Whareroa Long course that always struck me as particularly brutal, not just because it's a quad/glute/mood killer after 10km of pretty hard trail racing, but also because the views are so spectacular that they're far better appreciated outside of a race and on a day like today instead.
This is the Catchment View Track with an average grade of 25%.
