@@mig9534 no not by itself. reynor got respect for beating serral, but he always beat serral in a zvz with quirky surprising plays that caught serral off-guard. meanwhile reynor always struggled to beat the korean players and get the international recognition. now that he is playing well against players like Maru i would say Reynor is officially one of the really great players now.

Ive watched the game since the first MLGs, and I think this is my favourite series. Just insane
I was watching this one live as well and, despite being alone in my living room, the hype was real, chat was going crazy, divided between Reynor and Maru fans. The tension was palpable, with Reynor looking down at that 2-0 but the comeback was so insane. It was honestly the best game I'd ever seen. I would have loved to see Clem v Reynor in the final but it was not meant to be.

I feel like I've seen "The best SC2 series ever" as a title several times in the last year; every time I seriously doubt it could be better than the last.
Happy to say I've been proven wrong every time :) These guys really are built different.

TvZ is now, and always has been, the best matchup in SC2. It almost always has flexible openers, crazy mid games, and epic late game fights.
Totally!! With the introduction of Liberators, Widow Mines, Lurkers, and Vipers, it went from being the best matchup to being the ultimate visual feast.
Reynor was so completely dead in that last game

LOVE how the "highlights" are 52 minutes' worth of the BO5 - basically the whole series. This was amazing! Both players are so incredibly evenly matched.

It was the Infestor that won the game, had not for those Infestor Fungal, Maru could have kite those UltraLingBane into oblivion, while dropping Medivac on Reynor base.

I haven't been this ROCK HARD in a long time.
The title does not disappoint. This was so good. I watched it twice back to back. And I don't even play starcraft. Both Maru & Reynor are the true embodiment of their respective races. This series should be given a special award for best series of the tournament. Thank you SC2HL for sharing this master class of SC2 gameplay.
