i got it to work, still need a light source.. someone should make something similar but that tracks 3 reflective dots so that we can play in the dark and have the dots reflect the screen bright.
hey, i have a problem: if I yaw my head to the right (rotate horizontally), it works fine. To the left, however, the virtual head jumps directly to 180 degrees as soon as the 0-point ( exactly the center) is crossed. I am using aruco- paper maker tracker Help please, thank you !!!
Hey! I just installed opentrack and selected Aruco from the input options. Then you just need to print the paper tracker and stick it up above your head :)
Mine is never that smooth :( I even made a 17x17 aruco marker and I am using my smartphone as a camera, but my in-game camera keeps doing little movements and it's too sensitive Would you mind sharing your configs?
Hi! I tried using the smartphone camera but there's always too much lag, I think using a webcam is better. When I get jittery movements I usually need to tune the camera settings (exposure, contrast, etc) to make sure the tracker is clearly identified. Hope it helps!
I found that giving a steep backwards angle to the paper gives the software a better understanding on the angle. Using a 60fps webcam helps alot, and choosing the right filter for you is important, mine works good with Accela.
Glad to hear from you...
... missed your devlogs
I miss gamedev too ;)
@@nunosdonatothe struggle :) ... Will love to see more of what you are into now.

can you advise how you set it up. I have the SmoothTrack app on iOS and Opentrack on the PC but sort of had it working a bit but now nothing.
Cheers
