26:20 Hermes and Jolyne's blood drought up because Made in Heaven affects everything that isn't alive, that's why once everyone except Emporio dies, their bodies start to rapidly decay
Your teeth aren't alive either. Nor is your hair or fingernails. If non-living blood cells instantly clot and delay, then so should stuff like your body hair and saliva, and anything else that isn't strictly "alive."
@@manupm9161 ...that doesn't answer my point at all??? If a character's "soul" is part of their hair, teeth, nails, etc and therefore excludes it from the time acceleration, why does the same not apply to blood cells? Emporio's blood also remained in liquid form in the last scene even when Pucchi accelerated time.
@@Lardo137 The all parts of physical body are protected by being connected to a living soul. Without a soul binding it together, something is effectively dead because it has no life.
To answer about why Jolyne's blood dried quickly during the Made In Heaven fight. Made In Heaven accelerates time of the entire universe (by doing some funky gravity stuff) except for living beings, with Pucci being the only exception to this, hence why he's super speedy during the fight. Meaning that as Jolyne's blood exits her body, it stops being part of a living being and becomes affected by time acceleration. Same for why their corpses dissolve so quickly after Pucci kills them all, they aren't living anymore, and thus accelerated.
The thing with MiH from my own observations is that just affects everything except living organisms, not just organic things. I think the way Araki did it is that once the blood leaves a person's body or the person passes away they are not considered "living" anymore and are subjected to MiH's time acceleration.
I think the reason why Jolyne's blood dries up in sped up time is because the stand ability doesn't consider it a living thing once it leaves Jolyne's bod
its insane how jojo can make u more excited to learn than it would an actual biology class, it just proves that with the right background content, one can even be excited to learn ab math or quantum physics.
During the Kira vs Josuke arc Josuke explained that Crazy Diamond could affect his dried up blood because once it got out of his body, after a while, it would count as a separate object. Maybe Made In Heaven works with the same assumption
8:09 She didn't say the liver would only sell for $590 on the black market, she said that the liver will compensate for the remaining $590 in debt that Jolyne owns her
Ermes asked if fever caused astigmatism because she didn't understand what was happening and found that as the only possibly logical explanation with the limited knowledge she has. She didn't say it does, she was just wondering because she was surprised.
The answer to your question about jolynes blood is answered in the final fight of part 4, once josukes blood leaves his body stand is able to effect it because its an inanimate object and not part of himself allowing him to use it as a weapon. Crazy Diamond doesn't work on josuke's own body but on the dried blood it can.
Regarding the snail scene with weather. Subliminal message could potentially affect something on a physiological level(like you suddenly get hungry if you saw a subliminal message with food in them) so Araki basically take this idea to the utmost extreme where the snail message is so strong it start to change people physically into snail(basically you believe you’re a snail so much you become one) This might not be true but it does have some basis as to how the ability works. Also regarding Made In Heaven ability, it can speed up times on all NON-LIVING things so things like the blood or a dead body would still be under the effect of MiH as they’re no longer considered living.
4:50 Jotaro knows this isn't a 'little blood' he's just trying to get Jolyne to go on without him and realizes if he says "Nope, I'm bleeding out" she won't be as likely to save herself in that moment. So it's not 'unrealistic' in fact, it's realistic for a father to self-sacrifice in a situation like that for his daughter.
26:20 Maybe it has been been pointed out earlier, but this was actually addressed in another part, where Josuke could repair debris and his own blood as it was no longer considered part of him anymore, probably the same as how Jolyne's blood dried up quicker Amazing compilation! It was a thrill seeing the new episodes premiere alongside your observations on specific episodes, and yeah the subliminal messaging was wack lol
20:11 those there are literally mosquitoes flyign around, but honestly this is so illuminating for Araki's Rods' design! I always wondered where did they come from 26:20 Well this is about an established concept in the Jojo serie where biological material outside of it's original body is therefore dead an becomes an item. It was a concept used in other battles, like Kira vs Josuke
Jolyne's blood drying up so quickly happened for the same reason that, in Part 4, Josuke was able to 'fix' his blood to redirect the shattered glass; once it had left the human body and was no longer serving any purpose for keeping Jolyne alive, as far as the Stand's power was concerned, it no longer counted as part of a human being. Thus, Made in Heaven's time acceleration was able to act upon it.
if i may add a little thing, i've seen people comment that in the last episode Pucci's eyebrow knife wound bleeds like crazy. Well, in my experience, eyebrow cut wounds do bleed. Like, they do bleed a lot. Rivers. I do not know the science behind it, but they do.
rewatch episode 6 of part 3, they literally talk through their stands, David Productions just decided to not add their stands which may mess up the moment for people
exactly what im saying. The only real false statement in this would probably be when ermes thought that the high fever gave her asthigmatism BUT even then thats more like something happening to you right after another injury/event and wondering if something weird could have happened to coorelate them given theres no other explaination. The creator never said that it could actually happen, only that Ermes connected the dots and led to that conclusion. many shows do this where the character tries to think of something more rational than what really happens in the story.
26:20 This is somewhat addressed in Part 4. It is said that, at least in JoJo, blood is a part of you only when it's inside of you, hence Josuke's use of his blood to form projectiles. Still doesn't make much sense, as blood cells will survive for about 30 minutes when outside of the human body (unless in specialized lab conditions). Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember the scene with Ermes' observation having the acceleration up to 30+ minutes per second.
26:20 similarly to how Josuke was able to use his own blood to attack with Crazy Diamond, once the blood has been out of the body for some time, it no longer is alive or part of the human. Same reason the characters’ dead bodies start decomposing really quickly with Made in Heaven
interesting about the eye lid bit I got something similar with my left eye where it would just close on its own without me really noticing it for a bit
itd be really cool if you break down the berserker armor from Berserk, how that armor pushes your body beyond its limits and when bones break it forces them back together so you can continue fighting
I love how the Marilyn Manson inaccuracy is about the price of Ermes' liver, and not the fact that she was still alive after getting it violently ripped out.
this might sound weirdly niche compared to most of your jojo videos, but i'd like to see your reaction to the injuries we have Polnareff have in part 5, or just his injuries in general. Polnareff seems to be the most common victim of Araki's (alleged) fear of losing his hands and fingers, in both his fight vs Vanilla Ice in p3 (which would be a cool fight for you to react to anyway). mostly im interested if his p5 injuries are even possible based off what we see of how they were gained
26:17 it’s actually explained in the (non canon) spin off novel jorge joestar novel why its like this. when the blood left the “skin” its no longer considered part of the body by the brain. No idea why the implanted teeth disintegrated, maybe its because he just got them done so he didn’t consider it part of his self image yet. The “self image” concept is also why your clothing just doesn’t rot off your own body bc you think it as part of you (unless your name is guido mista but i dont want to think about that scene lmao) 😅
25:58 Made In Heaven basically affects all things not related by living beings, when Jolyne's Blood is out of her body, its not part of her body anymore and dry very quickly by the effects of made in heaven's time acceleration. Also Deceased Bodies Rot very quickly During Time Acceleration.
26:20 that's because when the blood cells die and no longer alive they're treated as a non-living thing and that's why when the characters died in accelerated time their corpse wethered so quickly also Josuke in part 4 said that when his blood dried up it's no longer a part of him so he could "repair" it and use it as a weapon
26:20 iirc it only effects living things, so things such as leaked blood or decomposing corpses would go through their motions much faster during Made in Heaven
16:40 the question here is less “can this happen?” And more “if his legs were miraculously like that from birth, would there be enough elasticity, structural strength, and muscle tension to achieve the sort of outcome shown, and if so to what degree?”(his freaky legs, not what happened when anasui got him.)
26:21 I believe the reason the blood is drying so quickly is that once it's outside the body the blood itself isn't considered alive by MIH and so the water in it evaporates out extremely quickly. So rather than it clotting, it's just drying up the second it leaves the body.
the blood drying in made in heaven is because it effect living things, its been shown before in the series that when blood dries its considered seperate from the person like josuke being able to revert it with glass or diavolo attacking with it during time erasure
with how often these characters survive so much shit that I would assume instantly kills a human if not incapacitate them from blood loss alone... its suprising how often they seem to be accurate.
The reason why jolyne blood was drying up was because after the blood got out of her body it didnt count as a part of her anymore thats also the reason why josuke was able to use glass shard which had his blood on it and blood on Kira costume its pretty confusing which makes it so interesting about how Araki was just able to think of it.
As a physicist I'm completely astounded by the amount of medical facts Araki gets right given the comparable amount of things related to physics that make absolutely no sense and are just batshit crazy. Especially anything related to gravity like in 10:03 which is not true at all.
8:08 : Regarding the price of organs on the black market, it is important to note that Stone Ocean takes place in 2011 and was also written in 2003; perhaps that was the price for a liver during that time and inflation has made it go up? I don't know anything about that stuff so idk if it would be affected by inflation if it apparently costs 100x more than what the show says it is
26:21 I think Araki’s take on this is that he considers dried blood as something no longer a part of a person, as he did with a scene with Josuke using his restoration ability on his dried blood. So, rather than Made in Heaven’s ability being ineffective against all biological elements, it does not affect living beings and whatever elements that are still a part of their living body.
Mentioning the liver only costing $590, they only said it covered the REMAINING debt, not that it was only worth that much. Since the liver was worth at least $590, it paid off the rest of her debt
Theoretically, if a space habitat is rotated enough to simulate 1G, assuming it doesn't cause any stability issues with the inner ear, will it cause the blood flow to act as it should?
I would say his score is ABOVE 82%, because for a lot of the errors that you placed, were phenomena manipulated by stands, since stands and their abilities stem from the users own soul and how they are as a person. For example, Heavy Weather and the ability to turn people into snails via very modified subliminal messaging. Since it’s an ability, i feel as if the scientific concept it uses being highly unrealistic is a pass, but for things like Pucci somehow not dying to scissors in his throat or Jotaro saying it’s “just a little blood”, I completely agree with.

They did actually turn into snails, otherwise how would bugs eat them
@@speedwagon1824 they’re not they just think they are
@@midnightbacon2857 hence why they turning into snail literally.

Why did he mark that as wrong the blood is outside the body and if weather cooled it to minus 3 then it would freeze?! There’s nothing wrong with blood spikes!
I'd personally say it has to do with the line 'a cold breeze.' In context, this wouldn't work simply because to make the spikes that cold, Weather Report would probably need a pretty serious temperature difference. Pucci would ABSOLUTELY notice that.
@@DashBolt I think if weather can make frogs rain and people snails, he can definitely make the ground equally cold
@@DashBolt he can recreate any weather event that has happened ever, so he can select areas in which to freeze
Yeah most of the 'unrealistic' things were actually just fine.
Thank you for pointing this out! It feels like he just didn't like that scene and decided the vibes were off, but couldn't explain why it was "wrong" and copped out of an explanation 😅
Goddamnit, I just KNEW the toenail bit was going to be featured in this video. Didn't make me cringe any less seeing it for a second time! Definitely the most hard-to-watch bit in JoJo to date.
thank god i am not the only one who hates the toenail injury stuff
The inversed hand in the C-Moon fight was also terrible
gives me chills ewwww
It heavily disgusted me, back when I read the manga. I'm kinda glad they censored it out tbh...
Ghiaccio death
26:20 Hermes and Jolyne's blood drought up because Made in Heaven affects everything that isn't alive, that's why once everyone except Emporio dies, their bodies start to rapidly decay
Your teeth aren't alive either. Nor is your hair or fingernails. If non-living blood cells instantly clot and delay, then so should stuff like your body hair and saliva, and anything else that isn't strictly "alive."
@@Lardo137 in the universe of Jojo souls are a thing, so everything that is attached to anything with a soul is considered "alive"
@@Lardo137
The all parts of physical body are protected by being connected to a living soul. Without a soul binding it together, something is effectively dead because it has no life.
@@twinodoom And a blood cell is a part of your body.
Same for why their corpses dissolve so quickly after Pucci kills them all, they aren't living anymore, and thus accelerated.
underrated youtuber, your content is very entertaining aswell as informative. i hope you get more subscribers and views
Indeed!
So happy Heisenberg is now using his knowledge for good
its insane how jojo can make u more excited to learn than it would an actual biology class, it just proves that with the right background content, one can even be excited to learn ab math or quantum physics.

4:50
Jotaro knows this isn't a 'little blood' he's just trying to get Jolyne to go on without him and realizes if he says "Nope, I'm bleeding out" she won't be as likely to save herself in that moment. So it's not 'unrealistic' in fact, it's realistic for a father to self-sacrifice in a situation like that for his daughter.
He didn't specify if he's going to talk about father daughter bs he only about it in the truth way
Finally, a video on Part 6, i have been waiting too long, Doc!
Thanks for your work on the video, i greatly enjoyed it!
As a neuroscience undergraduate. watching stone ocean technically counts as studying lol.
26:20 Maybe it has been been pointed out earlier, but this was actually addressed in another part, where Josuke could repair debris and his own blood as it was no longer considered part of him anymore, probably the same as how Jolyne's blood dried up quicker
Amazing compilation! It was a thrill seeing the new episodes premiere alongside your observations on specific episodes, and yeah the subliminal messaging was wack lol
20:11
those there are literally mosquitoes flyign around, but honestly this is so illuminating for Araki's Rods' design! I always wondered where did they come from
26:20
Well this is about an established concept in the Jojo serie where biological material outside of it's original body is therefore dead an becomes an item. It was a concept used in other battles, like Kira vs Josuke
Lol 4:50 obviously jotaro was just trying to not make her worry
Jolyne's blood drying up so quickly happened for the same reason that, in Part 4, Josuke was able to 'fix' his blood to redirect the shattered glass; once it had left the human body and was no longer serving any purpose for keeping Jolyne alive, as far as the Stand's power was concerned, it no longer counted as part of a human being. Thus, Made in Heaven's time acceleration was able to act upon it.
Really liked that last video with Jolyne vs. Viviano Westwood - which seems to have been taken down
if i may add a little thing, i've seen people comment that in the last episode Pucci's eyebrow knife wound bleeds like crazy. Well, in my experience, eyebrow cut wounds do bleed. Like, they do bleed a lot. Rivers. I do not know the science behind it, but they do.
Head wounds in general tend to bleed a lot
Jolyne: noooooo it's 10% alcohol you can't drink it!
Dads driving after a 80% drink and getting everyone home safe and sound
Also the characters are having full blown conversations underwater at high speed its funny
rewatch episode 6 of part 3, they literally talk through their stands, David Productions just decided to not add their stands which may mess up the moment for people
Through their stands
Props to the cameraman's camera not running out of memory storage during time acceleration
16:34 might be questionable, it is just a stand ability that made that guy like that. It never claimed to be an actual condition
exactly what im saying.
26:20
This is somewhat addressed in Part 4.
This is such an epic video, you are super underrated UA-camr 😢
26:20 similarly to how Josuke was able to use his own blood to attack with Crazy Diamond, once the blood has been out of the body for some time, it no longer is alive or part of the human. Same reason the characters’ dead bodies start decomposing really quickly with Made in Heaven
26:24 the blood is no longer a part of Jolyne as it's outside the body
interesting about the eye lid bit I got something similar with my left eye where it would just close on its own without me really noticing it for a bit
itd be really cool if you break down the berserker armor from Berserk, how that armor pushes your body beyond its limits and when bones break it forces them back together so you can continue fighting
I love how the Marilyn Manson inaccuracy is about the price of Ermes' liver, and not the fact that she was still alive after getting it violently ripped out.
Jesse! We are on a jojo reference.
JJBA is really just a mix of random facts Araki knows and his Spotify playlist huh
"Waltuh what are you doing, we are supposed to cook for Gus, come on let's get started"
this might sound weirdly niche compared to most of your jojo videos, but i'd like to see your reaction to the injuries we have Polnareff have in part 5, or just his injuries in general.
Implanted teeth isn't a living thing
Blood doesn't die after 30 minutes to 4 hours after being out of body hence considered alive at this moment
The official explaination with Jo & Weather VS Lang Rangler was what I was waiting for
26:20 that's because when the blood cells die and no longer alive they're treated as a non-living thing and that's why when the characters died in accelerated time their corpse wethered so quickly
also Josuke in part 4 said that when his blood dried up it's no longer a part of him so he could "repair" it and use it as a weapon
4:50 I’m pretty sure he was just saying that so Joylne wouldn’t worry
there’s a moment in stone ocean where they say it’s 2 hours from orlando to cape canavrel by car when in reality it’s only a 50 minute drive
So rather than it clotting, it's just drying up the second it leaves the body.
the Marilyn Manson stand was saying that the liver pays of the debt of 590 dollars and not that is is worth so much
the blood drying in made in heaven is because it effect living things, its been shown before in the series that when blood dries its considered seperate from the person like josuke being able to revert it with glass or diavolo attacking with it during time erasure
I really hope you do a more in depth fight analysis on the survivor fight specifically Jolene vs that prison guard either that or the yo yo ma fight
with how often these characters survive so much shit that I would assume instantly kills a human if not incapacitate them from blood loss alone... its suprising how often they seem to be accurate.
Getting high on shrooms and still getting into a fight and winning sounds like a very Jolyne thing to do
The reason why jolyne blood was drying up was because after the blood got out of her body it didnt count as a part of her anymore thats also the reason why josuke was able to use glass shard which had his blood on it and blood on Kira costume its pretty confusing which makes it so interesting about how Araki was just able to think of it.
I don't know anything about that stuff so idk if it would be affected by inflation if it apparently costs 100x more than what the show says it is
Hello! Love your content, can't wait for part 7 when that drops

When you're a medical student and you have a test that consists true or false, and it's the entirety of JoJo Part 6 Stone Ocean.
I think they say only living organisms are immune to the time acceleration, not any organic matter. Hence why we see clothing and corpses decay.

8:14 Marylin Manson said 590 because that was the amount of money that Ermes had to give Mirashion, not because it's its actual value

I was waiting for him to talk about the gravity thingy that attracted others
4:50 I'd like to think star platinum's self preservation reflex tried to stop the bullet as fast as it could
26:21 I think Araki’s take on this is that he considers dried blood as something no longer a part of a person, as he did with a scene with Josuke using his restoration ability on his dried blood.
Hey dude you still owe me 10 bucks imma take your car
@@Yoshikage-Bowie that’s how the stand works, if it was fair in its exchanges it wouldn’t be very strong

Part 6 is the part with the most painful injuries 😵
