It would actually be slower. Having more than 2 sticks or ram will make it run slower and slower the more you add cause it has to access more of the ram so it will take more time for even a little application that only needed 2 gigabytes of ram.

Those cpus are for servers, machine learning, content creation, etc. They actually perform marginally worse in gaming than other "gaming flagship" cpus like 7950x.
Yeah but would get wrecked in games by machines that cost a lot less. That machine is not ideal for gaming, threadripper gets destroyed in gaming benchmarks by .... gaming cpus. (Thread ripper is amazing, but it's designed for server workload, tons of threads but less speed per thread. Games don't utilize threading that way and will not see any perf improvement past 8 or so threads. 16 super fast threads way better than 64 kinda slow threads.)
If you're not a full blown computer nerd, you'll never understand how satisfying this video is and how frustrating at the same time that you can't see the full build!
If you want to game on a threadripper just disable some CPU cores using the Ryzen master and set the clock to 5Ghz to at least 4 cores, the others can be 4.5 or 4.2, you can keep 12 cores enabled since most games won't use half of it, I recommend installing solar panels on your house to power your pc tho.
