I also love that tree in your living, the curve gives it so much character! I enjoy moving decor around as well. Adding some height on the wall behind toilet made it look 100% better. Love your video. I am OD right now!

Hi Ashley, tuning in. you have the best camera action around. I’ve said before but your videos are like watching a 4K tv show. So clear, the best angles, close ups, distance clips, floor to ceiling shots. You put so much work into your videos and it really shows, they’re so easy and enjoyable to watch when done like you do em. Ok gonna finish now. 😃
    Watching from Michigan…Kim

I liked the faux olive tree DIY fix and the kitchen cabinet knob changes, I thought the large vase w/eucalyptus took over the top of a smaller toilet and didn’t add much to the wall above. Liked the soap pump swaps but the wall above toilet looked better with previous picture hanging.

For the other tree you don’t like quality you could use paint to do underside of a few leaves and add olive picks. If the branch breaks again, make a brace with pvc or some kind of tube, put around broken area then paint or add wood contact paper over clamp area. I would also add some wire around to reenforce that glue on one in bedroom.
Add rustic wood shelves to wall in bathroom. Then maybe marble vases with ivy or something

Hi, Ashley - Heroic effort to save the tree. Regarding the site of repair, you might try to give it a bit of "make-up" in the form of sparingly applied moss, or a washi tape that closely approximates the shade of the "bark" of the tree. or some wood putty carefully applied, maybe even adding a stain tint to the wood putty for a closer match. Lots of effort for a broken tree, but worth it in the long run. It is a nicely shaped tree. Well done!

I just replaced blinds in my bedroom with plantation shutters and it changed the whole look. I moved those old blinds and put them into my bathroom and it drasticly updated the look in a tired looking bathroom. No more mini blinds yea ! Then the other blind I moved into another bedroom with one window and it looks so good. Coarse those 2 plantation shutter were expensive but they look it and that makes me feel like a new room. Plus the shutters block out a lot more light since our room faces southeast. In Texas that means a bright room.Keeps that heat out and glare. But I too have been shopping and moving my decorations into different rooms .I am liking the free shopping and no expense. Great job on the tree. That looks like some of our projects starts off simple and becomes an all day and half of the house has all kinds of tools and stuff just to do a simple fix. Lol

I had custom made plantation shutters made for my whole house. I hate curtains or drapes. They collect to much dust. Will never go back to drapes.

@@janiceestes9518 I hate curtains also. They are dust collectors they are indeed.Plantation shutter for an entire home here it would be almost $4000 since I already paid almost a thousand for the 2 shutters I just got with 15%off at Lowe's.

I don’t blame you,I think it’s a beautiful tree, I have confidence that your husband is going to make it look even better than it did it before it was delivered broken.
