You really do need to make a Homeworthy Smaller Spaces as a special subchannel. You did it for Texas, now please do it for the thousands of your subscribers who relate to smaller spaces.
You should add a section for homes under 1000sqft and under 500sqft! Many people want great style in their small homes in the city, or modest home in the suburbs. This satisfies both 💜
Why criticize their lifestyle? The couple are gracious enough to take their time and effort to share their amazing sweet home. We are their guests. I give them so much respect for their hard work in trying to make their daily lives special. Three years for little ones of their ages are really the best time to endeavor to live as they are. Location, location, location…is vital. There is so much available for the little ones to see and do outside their home. Such as museums, small galleries, bookshops and tiny toy stores; libraries, and Central Park with its ice skating rink, carriage rides, and row boating. Throughout the year there are lovely arts and crafts and music programs. So, I Congratulate this young family for knowing what is most important to them and working daily to improve their lives. Well done.
I adore! Everything about this family. Their space is so inviting. It’s a magical home for their children. The mom & dad seem to have a harmonious give & take. I can see the kids will always have a sweet and happy home. Love Heathers taste. I had a great time making a magical home for my 4 kids. Kuddos to this couple. Can’t say it enough. Great taste in everything!!
I wouldn't consider Brittany's apartment small, but it is very stylish. Heather and Michael's apartment is cozy and warm and a great, small home for 5 people. John's apartment is again a sense of space and doesn't seem so small. I like the way he uses the layout. The textures and pops of color are wonderful. The dining room is very chic. I love Claudia's studio apartment. The little skirted table she made in the kitchen is perfect. Adnan's apartment is so cool. His color choices and applications are so much fun. Thank you Homeworthy for featuring smaller, homes that many of us can relate to.
How refreshing. A real person that lives in a house most of us can relate to. I would be tempted to paint those cabinets, but it’s the first time I think I really like the wood.
THe little 3 girls room in the NY apartment is so cute. If they are there as they grow,.... A bunk bed with a lower trundle would accommodate them all , in the same space . I remember falling love with John's apartment the first time. His colors and use of spaces and his style is everything! I adore the free lance writers studio. The large mirror, the shutters, the coziest kitchen ever!!! Love it all SO happy she left the cabinets wood tone. Its perfect with her copper and little lamp and art. So special!
The single parent mom ❤🎉😂 and her son are having a positive really good life together, in their well designed New 🆕 apt , thats so personally styled & Fun and expressive !!!! A blessed loved 💟 😍 ❤family with having othet relatives and friends there & thats wonderful 👍 😊 and Blessed 😇 😇 ❤🎉🎉😂
I've seen them all before, but happy to see them again. Espacially the first one, which I already have watched several times. It is such a beautiful space and Brittany shows such a good and happy vibe.
My grandmother gave me those rocket concert rocks when I was a child, I still have it. It actually came with a little sing that read, "Rock Concert," so your son is spot on!
Thank you to those who kindly shared the sweet homes. I love the ideas, the colors, the treasures displaced big and small, priceless to each of the individuals. From their unique ways of presenting their spaces, one senses their delight in opening up to others their own unique world. Homeworthy, big, small, whatever you present each home is a real treat! …you transport me to a magical destination where my life is brightened and my heart is filled with joy. Thank you, again.

Heather u found the neatest things !! The old chair the lovely vintage tablecloth as a curtain ...love that .. Iv always loved using curtains thru out my house too PLUS saves room..from doors ..i know!💚🌵
I liked Brittney’s hutch, we’d call that a bureau in the U.K. nice to have somewhere specifically for letter & card writing and maybe gift wrapping too.
I asked for more realistic homes, and you listened. Thanks so much. If you want to visit me in Colorado I painted my whole kitchen in Hello Kitty. I would love to be on the show.
The sealed door and windows in the young man's Brooklyn apartment are more than likely code SAFETY violations. He might want to look into that and have a conversation with a building inspector and the landlord to rectify the situation. Nice job on the decorating...
I love that they seem so happy. The girls room has a cute feel although also almost like a designer orphanage. THey seem happy about the living room chairs - I personally think the 1.5 chair and the tub like chair are a bit awkward looking and for a family but they like it which is what counts. That kitchen and sink is small. Good for them in being happy with what they have.
The girls are adorable and they seem happy but their bedroom is quite sad and lacking cheer. It is devoid of color and that has to be the scariest painting I’ve ever seen in a child’s bedroom. Their stuffed animals are not within reach. Why not place that rod under the artwork? The chair looks like it might have had some mice nesting under the cushion at some point. Dad looks like he has just about reached his breaking point.
So happy to see John's apartment again. Makes me feel right at home. Definitely one of my favorites. I cannot begin to fathom living in such a small NYC apartment with no outdoor access with three young children. Wouldn't a less expensive neighborhood possibly have meant more space to help retain everyone's sanity...(though Mom seemed like she could handle constant chaos better than I). Cooking & cleaning up after 3 meals a day in what would be a kitchenette for a studio would be sooo cramped & frustrating. Can't imagine how she deals with it. Just everyone's winter clothes, boots etc would take up space that one small closet couldn't possible accommodate. The dolls stored so far up overhead like hostages could never be accessed by the children. Wondering what Dad is studying that couldn't be studied in a less expensive city. Three long years....

I am sure they can just go outside. Lots of people in other countries have much smaller spaces and people in US of the past. A family of 10 would live in a single room. Maybe instead of boots, they just wear running shoes? My kids hate gloves, scarfs, ECT. They just wear hoodies mostly...and we live in Colorado. My kids never had boots. They probably just ask someone to hand them a doll!I used to jump up on the kitchen cabinets to get a glass as a kid. Maybe they jump? Most people live in the dorms during college. Married student housing usually isn't very big.
She’s lucky. Love her Apt. but I wouldn’t live in NY. One of my cousins live around the corner from The Dakota. The prices to live there are insane. But she probably gets good child support + she mentioned something about fashion. She may be in the fashion industry.

Your home is beaautiful. Im so glad you decorate with so much art. I do too and no one I know does that. I also decorate with vintage and modern finds, and I have a lot of small objets. I particularly loved your living room rug. Much love and joy, peace and contentment to you and your son in your NYC home.
Small spaces are easier to heat and cool, and to clean and decorate. I like what you did with this space. It's a little too white for me, but your basic ideas are good.
I've just finished seeing the first gorgeous apartment, the only thing that needs changing to my mind is the fact that the fabulous mirror in the hallway is way to high,I'd lower it as I'd lower the picture in her bathroom unless she intends to add another lower down. She has excellent taste. Now I can't wait to see the others.
First apartment seems pretty large for NY- the location of the second by the park is perfect for kids- all weather but rain, you have a built in "yard"
I love Adnan his apartment, with the knickknacks and art, lovely eclectic tastefully put together. But i had a hard time finish watching it, because the use of adnan’s voice, 😬 a sort of vocal fry, it has an effect on me like a crayon on a blackboard… a typical American way of using one’s voice… when his voice goes up a bit it is so much better and more easy on my ears… Sorry Adnan, but i love your apartment and explanation and your beautiful dog 😊
I NEED to know 😂 what product Adnar mirrored his fireplace with and what on earth a "stitched square format" has to do with it (yes I Googled it). It honestly looks like mirrored contact paper but I'm sure it's not. TIA for your guidance
Heather and Michael, I'm a 72 year old man who has lived solo all my life. I'm currently in a 2/2 1100 Sq ft house and THOUGHT I was in a small place. I have enormous closets and a one car garage and keep decluttering. You've decorated your space warmly and tastefully. I have the identical folding TV Table / Tray you have in your bedroom. I wanted to send you a photo to show what I have done with it. Apparently that's not doable. You have four females in your beautiful family. Perhaps you have a hair tie you can use instead of the elastic band to keep the doors of your chiffarobe closed. It'll be sturdier and you'll like the look and feel better. You might like the color and texture or it, too. Bummer! I hoped to send the photo of my TV tray. It's fun to see how different people live with the same article. I have a dining room table, but I eat at my TV tray all the time, usually in my bedroom, sitting on my bed, watching TV or mainly podcasts. Hm. Now that I watch SO MANY podcasts on my phone, I ought to eat at the dining table, where there's a nice view of my lanai full of plants and the outdoors with trees and greenery. I keep trying to figire out how to send a photo. I put it on clipboard, but nope! Gorgeous family. Thoughtful, homey space!❤
Apartment 1: So nice to see a young person incorporate traditional older pieces with modern and whimsey. It works so well! No vanilla white washed look there. It's warm and cozy and as Neale Whitaker would say--it has soul. The last one is a cluttered mess. He needs to edit and get rid of stuff. Some of it looks like he bought it to fill spaces and should not have.
In the first video the little boys bathroom is decorated very adult! Books piled on the side table so impractical- they will curl in the damp. This whole apartment is a very curated space which doesn’t look as if anyone let alone a child lives there.
Ironic My Daughter Was born on the upper east side, facing central park & My son is James as well. We had a huge 4 story house when the kids were babies & 6 to 9years old. Alot of wasted space in ATL. So we came back home to NYC. Our paid off Family Brownstone, in Bushwick Brooklyn. Less is definitely more!!
Some of the hosts like to talk more about themselves rather than their apartments. I get they are emotionally tied to their stuff. Also, some are way too thrilled with things that aren’t the least bit special. If I hear one more person expound on a coffee table book… I assumed this would be more about how to manage and utilize small spaces-something with ideas to take away.
The apartment is beautiful. The décor is stunning. However , why do young people have to talk in a sing song way? Ending every sentence in form of a question. I was able to get through 3 minutes. Her voice is a turnoff. So I muted and skipped a, a lot.

How can a single mom with a young child afford a two bedroom corner unit on the Upper East side? And how is that considered small?
She never shared her background, but obviously, they can afford it, especially to stay home to home school her children.
Might be possible for her because of her inheritance or from the baby daddy.

This painting at the end is probably by the famous Egyptian painter Hussein Bicar. If it's an original, it would be costly. Don't throw it away!
i could watch this sh--t all day. Its like ASMR
Some of the hosts like to talk more about themselves rather than their apartments. I get they are emotionally tied to their stuff. Also, some are way too thrilled with things that aren’t the least bit special. If I hear one more person expound on a coffee table book…
I assumed this would be more about how to manage and utilize small spaces-something with ideas to take away.
cool
In the first home, I would push the sofa closer to the TV and put the dining table next to the windows behind it.
The apartment is beautiful. The décor is stunning. However , why do young people have to talk in a sing song way? Ending every sentence in form of a question. I was able to get through 3 minutes. Her voice is a turnoff. So I muted and skipped a, a lot.
I don't think it is young people, just some people.
Does anyone know what Britneys channel is? I'd love to see!
Books on the toilet threw me off, I didn't see anyone ever doing that.
