Ive got a quik question, i got my Apex pro Gen 3 tkl four weeks ago. And would like to take the switches out and replace them with Gateron Gade switches ( so diffrrent Hall effect switches ). You said they are Swappable. So does it work?
Sorry I don’t know if that switch is compatible with the keyboard. What I know is not all magnetic switches are compatible to all magnetic keyboards. But I found this switch online that says it is compatible with Steelseries. But I haven’t tried it yet so I am not sure of this one will work. Sorry if I cannot answer your question. divinikey.com/collections/hall-effect-switches/products/gateron-magnetic-orange-2-0-switches
I’m sorry I don’t have the 2023 version. But in this new Apex Pro Gen 3, only the Omnipoint 3.0 (white switches)can be removed. The red switches cannot be removed.
Well... It actually possible. But you need to remove the LED first. Since it's not SMD LED, you need to desolder it. After you've done it, you will be able to remove the switch and basically a Hot-swappable keyboard. The downside will be, you're no longer have LED light.
What is the G-LUBE
It’s a lube for switch and stabilizers by Glorious.

I ordered some gateron jade pros. Im sure they work on the Gen 3. I have a gen 3 too. The white switches arent so good compared to the jade pros so
You cant remove the switches right?
(yes i watched the video just cant really see it good if the switches are out or not)
