It says pairin code already in use. I've already had that pairing code before an for some reason it unpaired it self and I can cast or anything anymore

I can't even get to the part where I'm in the headset I factory reseted it it does give me a code but when I connect it to the quest on the mobile app it never does anything to put in a code it just automatically connects and doesn't let me put in a code which makes it where I can't get past the part where it wants me to put in a code so even though I should be in the headset it's still waiting for a code that I can't send to the mobile app because it doesn't let me even though I know the code it won't let me put it in it just automatically connects it which again makes it where I can't get past the starting screen for the Oculus which means it's useless and I can't do anything no matter how many times I factory reset or anything I do I can't do anything with the headset I don't know why because I was able to connect to mine just fine I was trying to connect this one for my friend and I just can't do it

I can’t access settings on my vr it’s stuck on a screen saying to get my account by 2 of august
Why does it say my VR is already paired to a device even though I haven’t even paired it to anything yet? How do I fix it?
My problem is that Mine is stuck in the pairing screen where I have to enter the code and pair it through the app, but when I pair it, it pairs the headset fine as the app claims but I’m still completely stuck looking at the code still. Tried restarting the app, deleting and reinstalling the app, factory resetting again and still stuck on the pairing code screen, trying it with and without the charger cable connected, Bluetooth enabled/disabled. I’ve even deleted my account and created a new one to see if it’ll let me get past that code part, with no avail. I’m running out of options so I think my best bet is really to break the wallet for a new headset, it all started because my left controller wouldn’t pair, now my whole entire headset won’t pair since I tried factory resetting as a last resort. 🙄🤦♂️
Try contacting support for an RMA (return to base). Might be worth it even if you have to wait a bit (few weeks). Normally they organize fast.

@@3MREX Yeah eventually everything started working I was stuck because my controller wasn’t working I had to let my controller update that’s why I went through all this trouble because my controller kept blinking sos and wouldn’t pair.
So, I've done ALL OF THIS and it still won't pair with my phone. I even have the pairing code, is there ANY OTHER SOLUTIONS FOR THIS?

Sometimes casting to the headset from a mobile magically breaks the loop.

Question. If I have a different account on quest 2 and phone and I pair them will I lose my oculus account?
The accounts are cloud based, not hardware based. That should not be an issue. Check with Meta support if you want to be extra cautious.

if by chance you haven't fixed it try reinstalling the meta app that fixed the pairing loop for me
this is exactly whats happening to me right now! its been on the pairing your quest 2 spinning circle for 10mins! already tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and power off everything still same problem! i hate the headset. I have psvr2 and it never has issues. also one thing i did find was my code wouldnt work because it was using my girlfriends account profile and said this code is used by another account. have fun switching accounts as well as it gives you the wrong link to switch accounts and you have to dig through the right link.

@@redeaddevil8695 yes. Only fix was reboot factory reset of the whole headset. Start a new admin user and reinstall any apps I had.
when i put in the pairing code it says foud headset and then it takes me back to the pairing code thing ugh 😑 🤦🏼♀️

Cool, but my handsets are not working, that's what I wanted to fix in the first place so I can't use them to go anywhere in my headset but the code doesn't appear so I can't fix the handset problem.

What do you do when you know the code, the app says it found the headset, you put the code in but then it gets stuck in a loop asking for the code over and over and over? This is after a factory reset by the way
Try initiating casting from the phone to "wake up" the connection to the mobile device. Neat little trick that works sometimes. Other than that, contact support.

Same problem had issues with connecting to my quest 2 and then factory reset go thru all the setup process then end up coming to the pairing code then says it cannot connect when it’s all good and connected and same wifi

When I enter the 5-digit code, the app says it's going to pair, but then gives me a error message that it didn't succeed

I've had that where it fails and never says it worked but then links after 10 mins anyway.
This headset is pretty unpredictable, unfortunately. Lots of weird outcomes possible. Keep at it! Search Reddit, too.
Does this work for added secondary accounts?
I believe you can only link to a single Meta Quest mobile app.
What if after you type the code in it still doesn’t work?
I normally go out back, grab a rusty iron bar, and drive it straight through the unit, never returning to VR again.

There are a lot of problems with Quest setup; so blaming those on people trying to help you solve yours is kind of biting the hand that feeds.
Getting stuck on the pairing screen is a completely different issue than what he is talking about
He is showing you how to find the pairing code which a lot of people have a hard time doing in which he 100% absolutely just correctly explained problem getting stuck on the pairing screen, but that is a completely different issue than what he’s talking about
