can't believe Taenggu won, but then again, the Protoss got overconfident after his initial success(es) ... He simply got too sloppy, forgetting that once vessels are out, you actually need MORE than just recall/stasis + a-move ... :P .
I'm not some TvP expert by any means, but it sure seemed like once the Protoss player was up 40 supply and had Terran boxed in on two based they should have started building up Carriers. Trying to outmuscle those super-entrenched siege lines with pure gateway units really wasn't going well.
at all points of the games protoss had huge resource lead, about 2k/1k. but protoss was also constantly supply maxed out for the most time, allowing terran to max out as well. protoss tried to trade the supplys multiple times, but taengu just defended really well and was able to max out and push, by that point all reinforcement by protoss simply melted. while protoss is losing he constantly had 2k/1k resource that he cannot spent, and tapped out with 1k/1.4k in the bank. great game overall, really high level decision by terran to simply sit back, knowing the protoss army isn't scalable late
IDK if this is the contrarian nature motivating him or Canadian air or what, but these casts are some of my favourite casting by Artosis ever. Well, second to yelling NESTEE as baneling bombs annihilate marine army, but still. And so much more patient to dive in on fundamentals! And wholesome? Is it poutine? It's because you're inlining poutine, isn't it?
I don't know if tengu intended for those two depots that were placed in the back of his third base to protect against a wrap around attack. They were here way before protoss got to the bottom left corner of the map.
Use recalls instead on top of armies, when he left to go push bottom just get your main army into the Natural. The recall the reinforcements into the main army if/when you're spread. Huge economic damage and production buildings would have lost Terran the Reinforcements. If you're going for freezer playstyles you need to Freeze your constant wasteful attacks.
First Toss was impressive, but the attacks were total APE style! 16:30 he needs to know what he wants to achieve with that attack. He could have killed both CCs and back off. Instead just A-move... For Terran it's a present when Toss runs into your sieged defense. He had 7 facs vs 16 gates and stomped him nonetheless.
the army that killed bottom left was actually amazing placement because he traded super well on the high ground as opposed to just letting them get cleaned up on the low ground. taengeu won off that
when zhanhun was trying to bust the bunker, right before the tanks were up, he would have been better off just killing 3-4 scvs and heading back. Is it ever the case that someone can identify that the bust simply wont work well and get the now better second-ideal option? Obviously it's hard to know something won't work and you more or less just win if you bust, but I see that pretty often. Thanks
It’s crazy that tengu build almost no Goliath’s, 1 carrier with no upgrades would have stopped the siege tank force at the bottom from taking that base and forced tengu to build unnecessary Goliath’s the rest of the match. He just went gateway man and arbiter and refused to adapt.
They are op only when they are in a good position or everything works according to plan. Both players tried to walk around and attack bases instead of main army.
@@shaggyfeng9110 Yeah, and they camp outside your expansion and there's nothing you can do, either confront them or lose the expansions, and they just rinse and repeat, and can beat someone with 200 APM less.
terran just looks giga easy every single time i watch it. Once you get into midgame its just tank vulture spam and fortify position or bio+science vessel and spam irridate, whereas toss and zerg need to become absolute APM whores I wish you could just bleed out terran but this race is disgustingly efficient resource wise
Yeah for as much Artosis complains about protoss, their army positioning has to be on their A game to be able to survive. Sure, the Toss 'almost' won from the bunker bust, but the terran held that and then just coasted from there. The terran was massively out of position with over half his tanks just across the map not doing shit + like 6 tanks were stasis, but nope. The protoss still massively traded his whole army for practically nothing. It's insane how much the protoss has to do legwork just to get an inch. I think the main thing is the mines. You saw when the terran was pushing the bottom left with a portion of his army the protoss COULD have crushed it, but the mines stopped him for so long that it took too much time, and the terran just insta kills bases (funny how the protoss practically can never do that)
@@Clownie_Smileslook at the unit composition and it is clear. Terran wins with 2 units only, tanks and vultures. And one or two vessels. Protos has to go zealot, goon, templar, observer, shuttle, arbiter, and still hard. Go troll somewhere else terran fan boy
Spoiler blocker!
Thank you!
You da MVP in this marines versus protoss game! :-*
high level starcraft is a sight to behold
ahhh ladder god ,finally artosis casts his replays here.
LOL
4:20 "not going for that apeish play" LMFAO
I am enjoying the closing remarks & analysis.

One of the most professional casts I’ve heard. Thanks for the upload Artosis.
KEEP GOING ON, ARTY, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!
Wow, not how I expected it to end
Damn that was a good game. Appreciate it Arty.

Was thinking of the same thing. Carrier push when he was at an advantage.

When I see all them tank and vultures and no one making carriers it makes me go crazy….
Honestly I wasn't expecting from such a good terran to just nuke the gateways!

I wanna see some Latin American brood war! And I wanna see how Taengu fares against ASL players I love how solid he looks.

its fun watching these insane ladder players like shine and taengu

Ain't EMP an option?

Need to recall onto the army?
Nah that was crazy Taengu played that shit perfect.
Very competent defense play by Terran.
For god damn Artosis
Good casts as usual
Hmmm toss should have kept his bases wrong move to attack the main
I won't spoil it but I'll just say I'm surprise who won. Loser seemed ahead quite a bit and a few mistakes and it's over.
Perfectly played
Taengu is Byul. I think he made ASL or qualifiers.
Because it’s mathematics but mathematic
Good game. Worth the spent time.
that was a great game

Protos’un zayıf saldırı taktikleri terran’ı iyi bir oyuncu gibi gösterdi, bu Portos’a 400 limit verseler yine çarpışmaları kazanamaz
I demand Artosis vs tatesless
jonhun just walking into mines and tanks. not smart. needs to go watch that brain vs mong replay.
15.09 terran hardest race, problem solved.
Artosis, could you please remove fog of war when showing map features? The replay viewer has that ability, just do it.

So does Protoss ever win on this channel? 😂
Yes. Artosis sometimes wants to whine how ugly, cheesy and scamy are protosses.
9:00 i think terran wins here
I can't hear "Taengu" without thinking about Red Alert 2. "Mecha-Tengu, go!"
Pretty sure that was Red Alert 3 instead.
@@amai2307Ahh, right. 2 was Yuri.

this protoss sucks. Just walking straight through mine fields, attacking into supply depots
JH has better macro then korean pros. The fact that he still couldnt do anything, proves how OP terran is.
Wjhat is wrong? Terran units are too imba op.

Also before anyone replies with "recall"
When was the last time you saw a pro pull off recall? I haven't seen it in over a year it feels like.
It doesnt get much better in sc2 😅 seems like blizz devs are in love with terran
obvious Protoss/Zerg seething, just play Terran then if you think it's that good
