Please read : I'm a professional dyer and for anyone who wants to try this discharge technique you need to be aware that the bleach is still active and eating at the fabric until it is fully neutralized. This is even after washing! Your piece can fall apart and or get holes in it after a short time. To neutralize the bleach mix 3% hydrogen peroxide in water. A 10 to 1 ratio should do it. 10 parts water to 1 part peroxide. You can prepare the mixture in a dishpan or bucket and have it ready before you begin bleaching. Once the piece as lightened enough to your liking, immediately soak the piece in the peroxide solution. Leave it submerged in the peroxide and water for several minutes. Then rinse and you can proceed with your next steps.

@@yomama1254 That's going to depend on how much bleach you get on your clothes. If it's just a drop or two - a spray of peroxide might be OK if you get it wet enough. We just want to stop the process before the fabric is eaten up and holes appear when washed again. Good luck!
