Dude I was SO into the part where he talked about the backgrounds. I'm a bit of an urbanist and I just enjoy all kinds of architecture. What makes the Avatar universe so great isn't just the characters and storylines but also the LOCATIONS! From the menacing Egyptian and Chinese inspired Fire Nation Royal Palace to the breathtaking Northern Water Tribe, each location in the universe is unique in their own ways. Without locations, there wouldn't be a journey!
That being said, I don't blame him for wanting to take a break after working on LoK. You don't want to overdo it. We have to remember that we are humans and we have limits.

Go watch some videos that breakdown why and if that hasn't shifted you're thinking, than you're just a blind fanboy.
Oh, and what happens behind the scenes has absolutely nothing to do with how the quality of the show should be judged. Can you appreciate the hard work and determination, sure, but the final product should be judged on it's own merit. Avatar is the best series I've got to see in my entire life. No other series influenced me so much or crossed paths with me so many times than Avatar! It is just a masterpiece from the story to the music to the arts. I cannot describe in words what this series means for me and I am so thrilled that after all these years there will be new Avatar content. Much love for the creators!❤💦🪨🔥💨

Thank you giving my childhood a Spectre of understanding, knowledge and fulfillment. Uncle Iroh was a great character. As an adoptive child that character made me feel like I had a family. There no words to really calculate the gratefulness of how much this series is to many people. Please understand that you ALL did a great job in fluently combining cultures but touch the hearts of many who are still growing. We all have much to grow just like iroh said. Much love thank you , on behalf of everyone.
    THANK YOU

After intigral episodes like “The Storm”, or “Tales from Bo Sing Se” people, and Nickelodeon, realized that ATLA, is much more than a kids show. It’s a timeless story, a memorable journey that kids can enjoy, and adults can appreciate. Spanning generations, as adults that grew up as fans, share it with their kids as a family. Wonder if Disney was kicking themselves that they rejected the idea? In any case, I look forward to the future of Avatar, and the new studio that will build it. Best of luck Mike and Bryan!
