    Has it been tested on a long millage, high speed, with high voltage trek?

      Probably not, unfortunately they tend to let the customers do the product testing, which is a shame because their products have so much potential.

    So with the biggest battery possible let’s say 5-600$ how far can I make it on one charge? Want something powerful to ride 15 miles to college and back

    As much as i would like to buy one of their motors and as good as they are at providing replacements, i just know that if it were to fail outside of the warranty i would have a very expensive paper weight.

      2- year warranty :) However, all single parts are replaceable so you will easily get any part you need and our team or a reseller will assist you in getting the correct parts before purchase.

    I have a gen2 which was really great for a few hundred kilometers, but after about 1000km, started having more and more problems.
    Has gen 4 been tested on a long millage, rough conditions? Since it can take so much power, what happens actually when being taken for a few "extreme" rides (since you advertise it is made for extreme riding...)? What does the sprocket look like after e.g. 2k, or 5k km?
    To be completely honest with you guys, in my opinion gen2/3 had already enough power output and I'd rather consider upgrade if it improved reliability and torque sensing feel, rather than pay such a huge load of money for just a few extra Watts of power.
    Not to mention that the guy in the video is riding bike with such a small battery that I cannot imagine him actually pulling even 50% of the new motor capacity, while I would like to see, and even more interestingly, hear how loud the gen4 really is. If you made significant improvements to the noise, that would be a huge plus.

      have you watched or seen the youtube channel, High Voltage? In their videos they focus on mid drive motors and how you can modify the mid drive motors. (speed, reliability, water proof ext..) The channel also do reviews/rides on new midrive motors that just came out. They do a lot of their modify and review videos with CYC. I'd go to this channel if you have questions for CYC and/or if you want to see reviews and rides on the CYC.

    i find it interesting that this ebike conversion maker has barely any footage of it going uphill!🤔

      I have a few ebikes runnings at 52v 28 amps for roughly 1500w output.
      I can get up hills no problem only using 250-500 watts if need be.
      No ebike with enough output and the correct gear ratios will have any dramas with hills.
      Throttle alone without pedaling i can sit comfortably at 25-30km/h going up steep hills with my setup to give you an idea.
      Properly built ebikes are no joke

    You need to work with a frame maker to offer fully integrated downhill bicycle parts compatible beefy aluminum frame sets and maybe offer a dedicated backpack that can mount a controller externally to better cool the heat sink and a bungeed wire harness to connect to the drive system.

    • @cycmotor
      @cycmotor  6 місяців тому +2

      We've got some plans for the future but no need for the controller to be separate. The heat dissipation has been improved and the controller mounted between the mounting brackets. Not like the BAC2000 from previous versions.
