Exactly my thoughts! I still remember seeing Brandon’s face on all the merchandise when Superman Returns first came out and I was confident he would carry the torch for many years to come. Too bad he only got 1 film and got swept under the rug pretty much :/ not counting his appearance as Kingdom Come Superman because as cool as it is he deserves so much better than CW

He was great. I still don't get why the film was considered a failure. It is a much better film than any of the Henry Caville films. I guess they wanted a video game Superman who got into massive fistfights. That all bored me.

@@richardabia9735 It was also wrong for Superman to total that guy's semi truck like that. And the depiction of Krypton was silly. And the suit was awful. It looks like it was plastic and goofy. And the only good thing about the whole film was the Faora character. I didn't even like the score.

Brandon was such a great Superman! I always thought how similar he looked to Christopher Reeve as a kid. Really wish he was able to play the character longer.

He has some nervous energy about him, imo. Almost a little Clark Kent’ish.
He looks like a great guy, and a great actor! He once played a villain in a few episodes of The Rookie, and I hated his character so much…i mean, that’s how good he is.
Still no 4k disc of Superman Returns...
Because it wasn't shot on film or in 4k, Superman Returns was shot digitally on an early Panavision Genesis camera in 1080p so technically the 4K information is not there for an upgrade.

It's lame and a shame that Routh wasn't offered to return as Superman. Not to mention that he could have played a villain like Atomic man or someone else later on who could have matched Superman. And should get much better and bigger roles.
