The film isn't getting a lot of promotion and its a real shame they didn't upload that part of the interview. It was directed by Matthew Vaughn who directed X-men: First Class and Kick-Ass. The movie has great scores on both IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. Please go out and see it you won't regret it.

He takes orders from his Executive Producer, do not be fooled into thinking he's "the boss". He's just the host, and has a lot of "boss" abilities, but at the end of the day he is asking his ExePro if they have time, if they can do this or that, etc. Anytime he looks off stage, that's who he is looking to.

It's possible that he wrote it for Sam then changed his mind, rewrote the character for Sam after Larry declined or just lied to him.

ztoker Yeah. Tarantiono even described Death Proof as "a horror movie where the serial killer uses a car instead of a knife", when he was still making it.
But I would say only the first half is horror movie-ish. The rest is like a weird exploitation/revenge flick. Still a good movie though. I was just expecting something different when I seen it.

Can't be as bad as Jon Batiste's laugh following Colbert's jokes. I love Colbert, and Jon's musical talent is decent, but that laugh is just cringe-worthy.
