The thing I loved most about this film was the whole dynamic of the friendship between Django, and Schultz. The love and respect between the two really sold the story imho. Even after Schultz is dead, Django gives that kiss and says, auf Wiedersehen. That to me spoke volumes.

The film is only underrated because of the country in which we live. There is so much guilt in the USA, that Hollywood could not reward the truth. Of course, the film is TOP 10 in the real world🏆and Tarantino is TOP 5 G.O.A.T. directors.

I think this is Tarantino's masterpiece. And they say in this video why- it's Django's journey, his rescuing his wife. Every time i see this i want to cheer at the screen when he blows the house up and she claps. And Schutlz is maybe my favourite ever character in a movie, I love him. He is a real man, but Django is more than that, Django is like a superhero, above mortals. awesome film

Here after Once Upon and have to say this is now my 2nd favorite Tarantino flick. The Hollywood love letter was brilliant and I never thought I'd see better chemistry than Fox and Waltz till I had seen Leo and Brad. Keep up the great work and hope to see directors cuts of all your films in the near future.

The thing about Tarantino is that he doesn't hold back. He may shoot high and miss at times, but he's never gonna back off. And he may have great actors with an intense, even abusive script, but the story is what wins the day. You just can't take your eyes off of Django and Schultz, what's going on between their ears is just as interesting as the potential violence and mayhem you just KNOW is coming when Candie is around. It's waiting for that slow burning explosion that just keeps you glued to the screen. Oh, and anything with Kerry Washington, I'm there.

@@chrispopsjunior8978 I just looked it up. Morricone wrote 3 short instrumental pieces for Django Unchained and 1 song of his was used in the movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ennio Morricone said he wouldn't work with Tarantino again, because he[Tarantino], "places music in his films without coherence".
Kinda interesting, because that is part of the reason I like Tarantino films: the sometimes chaotic nature of the music being separate from the film, purposefully.
