If I remember correctly, the original TDI wasn't entirely designated to gross-out and farts.
There were only really 2 gross-out episodes in the first season. 1 of those being the standard eating challenge survivor used to do and the other being a triple dog dare episode.
While each episode was gross in their own way, there were lines they didn't cross.
Lines they didn't cross? They literally spent multiple extended scenes just having chars barf on each other with no other punchline. The talent contest literally has Bridgette puke, slip on her own puke into Tyler's arms, then other chars start puking. TDI was always more extra with grossout humor than normal. Lots of episodes had extreme gross out elements.
Don't get me started on Action, a season upholded by nostalgia where they had Beth put a puke covered teeth retainer or whatever it is back in her mouth.
im 100% sure this episode awakened some fetishes in certain kids
As someone with quite a few fetishes, this upcoming episode intrigues me, too. Not because it would make me excited at all, but because I want to know at least to some approximation what the medical world thinks of this stuff. Personally, I'm not ashamed of my fetishes, mainly due to knowing it's better to have a separate account for this type of material that is in specific circles so I can keep to myself and cause minimal psychic damage. It will happen, no doubt, but that's just because of the nature of the internet. Some random person will find something uncomfortable even if the content is on a site that is explicitly and completely targeted to a subgroup known to thrive off of fetishes a great deal (but not completely believe it or not), like furry sites.
I wish to be as confident as you about my fetishes. I also developed a whole bunch from media I consumed as a child and have selerate accounts for the stuff but I'm scared to use them most of the time and the shame eats away at me. I also, in all my years and almost a decade of being online have never had the courage to make any friends in these communities. Maybe someday haha.

My therapist and me have had talks about how the mind developes things like a kink due to my own curiosity and looking back at my development as an asexual queer person. And she's told me that it's actually very normal for kinks/fetishes and other sexual expressions to have the seeds planted when you're very young.
Even media that doesn't have that intended purpose, can unknowingly give a child an interest in something that develops into something more later. It's probably not guaranteed that every child will see something and turn out the same way years later, but there's some real psychology behind how seeing that one scene in a movie or that one character design choice as a kid set a nueron off you can't understand until you're a bit older.

Yep a bee commits unalive by stinging someone in the ass( i know you're referring to the bee movie)not so fun fact:the bee rips away part of its abdomen and internal organs. It's this that causes it to die a few minutes later
So if the bee movie wasn't a kids movie you would've seen adam's organs being ripped out
@@rosemary3029 It really is a sad reality about bees. If you stand still and they change their mind, a bee can wriggle free by going in circles and avoid death, though. Almost like it's sorry. 😊
I haven't made a reference to the Bee Movie, though. So I'm a tad confused.
There was two versions of orginal total drama season censored and uncensored version. Not sure if it was required for later seasons.
However some characters stand out as more memorable then others.
Total drama has always had farts not surprisingly they take it further and further.
Saber is like a shield that takes the brunt of cringe and makes it watchable, thank you for your service
walter
Who the hell are you?
Not even Gus could survive the fard 💀
My farts are better than Saberspark’s farts.
are you breaking bad?
As a Canadian I'll be honest when I say no one Ive met likes this kind of humour, adult-themed and sex jokes are pretty common, but the type of gross humour shown in our cartoons isnt, and Im so sorry that our cartoons seem obsessed with it, I dont know why we're like this
GOOD. The ONLY 2 types of people who like fart jokes should be kids & MORONS!!!!!
Honestly I would not say no to a live action total drama movie if mark played chris. Lmao
I WOULD!!!
@ZeldaSam1 👍
This being a comment on a video about Total Drama characters farting makes me horrified about the idea of a live-action Mega Babies movie.
You know an episode went too far when people with a fart fetish thinks this is too much.
Honestly, I never realized that Canadians had an issue with fart jokes and dirty humour in cartoons...and then I remembered Grossology. Might wanna prepare for that one. There's literally a character named Fartor, who is Mr. Freeze, but with fart gasses. His origin story is that he was dutch-ovened by his brother so much that he grew used to toxic air and now fresh air is poisonous to him. He lives in a fart suit now.
that is so so stupid its almost funny
God...what superhero would fight a villain like that? Whose rouge's gallery is he in?
@@AJOlaks *almost*
Oh my GOD I remember that! I thought it was a fucking fever dream I had!
@@Demonlord4546 mr clean is the superhero

Can kinda confirm that animation can awaken folks to fetishes at a young age. Before Totally Spies, there's The Perils of Penelope Pitstop with bondage and shows like Bonkers and other Disney shows with inflation.
The Perils of Penelop-WHAT THE FUCK!?!?! (Facepalm)
There's a surprisingly decent webcomic Total Trauma which is basically a sequel for Total Drama Island. Sort of a Where are they now? thing.
Only Terrance and Phillip can channel the true essence of canadian comedy
yes
Hey super22productions, what did the Turkish Dentist say to the Iraqi Gastroenterologist?
The fart episode was bad but the season as a whole was amazing! Best season in a long time. My third favorite!

Agree but my 4th or 5th favorite (I know it better than all stars, Pahkitew & action but not sure if it better or worse than revenge of the island)

@@JustEpic_Ytoverall I think it's pretty much even but Roti has some aspects that are better than the new season and the new season has some aspects that are better than Roti
Meh, it's like my 2nd least favorite
I remember when I watched Total Drama back in 2013 on Cartoon Network and I loved it, my dad on the other hand didn't like cartoons in general, but he had a passionate hate for Total Drama, this video has helped my understand why
I did grew up with Total Drama Island (I think the first 2 casts? Didn't catch the next) and it was definitely fun, liked the artstyle even if a bit rigid at time, and what I really was focusing on is the character development or some of the embarrasing moments. Like that time I can't stop remember and it lives in my head rent free: The cast where thinned down and they had a challenge to stay up as long as humanly possible without sleep, green mowhak guy asked to go to toilet, Chris was suspicious of him but let him through on the condition that he returns quickly, turns out he fell asleep on the toilet and poor guy had a rude awakening.
Also rooting for your faves which ofc it was Gwen who knew?
6:55 why does this look so right but feel so wrong
0:02 caught me off guard 😂
i was about to say that
Does anyone know where it's from?
@@ohwowitsme8548 Search Things Like Breaking Bad Wheelchair Explosion
4:48 The reason why is that that was when the Writers' Strike was in full swing. They tried to outsource all animated writing to temps, newbies, and totally unrelated studios.
I think the fetish formation thing has legs, a little bit. I dont think they necessarily *cause* fetishes to develop on their own, but they do so WITH other factors in your upbringing and your early life, so you subconsciously (at the time) connect your irl experiences with something in the animations, and thar ends up developing into a fetish down the line
Let's not forget Owen was a walking fart joke in itself
Which fits well into his character in a sense. With the others, not as much.
It fits in his character somewhat but they deployed it wayyyy too often. Shallowed him out as a character and made his win in island so boring and lackluster. Didn't feel deserved
Yeah it's the worst part of his original character, but it was at least limited to just him. So it was a momentary thing. You didn't have to deal with it from every character and it wasn't done to this degree.
@@josmamatotaldrama I never liked that Owen won. But I didn't learn why until years later.
I remember when the final episode was about to come out, they had a poll on Cartoon Network's site for people to actually vote between Gwen and Owen. The poll ended in a tie, and they decided to do the following. They made two different versions of the episode. In the American version, Owen wins... And in the Canadian version, Gwen wins. (Since I voted for Gwen, you can imagine how upset I was that I didn't get that one!) This also means There are two different versions of the first episode of Total Drama Action, one where they begin by saying Gwen won previously, and one where they start with Owen winning before. That is why it feels weird for Owen to win. Especially cause it always felt to me like the writers were intending Gwen to be the ultimate winner, especially in that final challenge against Heather, they succeeded in making Gwen feel like she deserved that prize the most.
@@shwahgamer truth, but I also kind of like the two endings. It's cool to see that sort of "what if". But Owen was just a writers pet in season 1 and like you said, he did nothing to deserve it so it just sucked. It's super cool knowing there was a poll to vote the winner though!
10:21 clearly some dominance or otherwise humiliation stuff going on in this scene.
0:39 is a great episode of 6teen, believe it or not.
One of my personal favorites.

I personally really like the reboot, especially the new characters, episode 5 was the odd one out though it would be a bit harsh to judge a series by one bad episode
Found one! Get him the hell out of here, don't give him his jacket.
I'll be honest with you, I thought they did a very good job with the reboot, it really captured the vibe of the original series while also modernizing it in tasteful ways. Of course there is a lot of fart humor, there always has been. Too much, yes, but still an enjoyable lil' reboot. Had a lot of good characters. I was a big fan of the guy who desperately wanted to leave, soda guy, Bowie, scary girl and the hockey players. I dunno why you gotta dunk on the characters, they did a solid job with the lot of 'em. I mean, nobody on the level of Gwen or Heather, it's not season 1 good, but they're good. Better than most of the Pahkitew Island cast. I think that was their low point.
It seems to me like saber didn't watch the rest of the season, because he couldn't even remember the name of one of the king lasting characters- and she has a common name too
All stars was for sure worse than pahkitew. they actually did a decent job writing Sean and Jasmine, but literally nobody was wrote well in all stars. maybe Al was half decent? -ish?
@@Giraff3. Oof. All stars is actually my favorite season. Good ol Alejandro.
Oh actually nevermind, I'm thinking of World Tour. I guess I don't remember enough about All Stars to have an opinion on it.
@@oposdeoyeah I also though all stars was good until I realized the other seasons especially world you’re are just kinda better. I still think pakhitew is worse tho
Thanks Saber now I can't get Markiplier out of my head saying "Hello I'm Markiplier and welcome to total drama island" lol haha! 6:50
Oh I recognized that skirt shot as the Marilyn Monroe pose but with farts. Weird that it's a standard fart fetish pose.
