She mentioned them on her IG stories! As far as I remember, she wasn't a huge fan of them. I think she said they're too sheer and prefers the Giorgio Armani ones!
Sat here with my very dry toes, I am disabled and my feet very dry. Within reach weleda skin food... Never trued it on my feet. As I type its on my feet. Not got to books yet... My fav bit your book reccs are always on point for my tastes x
Every time I watch these I'm reminded to read! "Such A Fun Time" is a great recommendation. Thanks! 💕 I think I will commit to at least 20 MINS at bedtime.
I recommend you get a little book journal when you switch to Kindle. Just a small little note book where you monitor the books you have read and write a few lines on them. It means you have a nice little physical book to keep in your bookcase and reminisce on your reading :). Definitely helps with the "digital" aspect of it.
Highly recommend Lies Lies Lies by Adele Parks and An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena for your book list! And thank you for introducing me to Calypso, it's one of the most hilarious things I've ever read, devoured it in two days
I use the Weleda Skin Food Light as a daycream and mix the original Skin Food with the light version as a nightcream - my skin has never been better! I used to have oily/combination skin in my teens, but now at 22 it turned quite dry funnily enough and Skin Food was the only thing that helped this winter
Off to buy the Nars eyeshadow palette, just like I bought the Huda palette you recommended. 😊 Also hilarious when you talk about your kindle hitting you in the face as you fall asleep. Anna "Well that was fun" 😂
Kindle question: Does it feel like you’re on a screen when you’re using or do you notice a difference? One of the reasons I’ve been holding out is I view reading as a time to get away from screens, especially when I read before bed. Have you found it affects your sleep at all?
It's definitely not like looking at a screen. And I read my kindle in bed every night before I go to sleep and have never had problems! It's hard to explain the screen as it's unlike anything else. Other e-readers are essentially just tablets, but the kindle screen really is just like reading a book. If there's a shop you can go and look at one, I'd recommend doing that, as then you can get a feel for what it's like to read one :) Good luck!
Loved The Interestings!! I'm currently listening to Searching for Sylvie Lee on audiobook--it's really good so far. Mystery that's told from three points of view and the writing is really good. :)
not sure if you have read this before, but 'an american marriage' by Tayari Jones is such a wonderful story of people and relationships and circumstances outwith your hands, as well as a fantastic story of race and being black in america! And 'where the crawdads sing' has broken my heart into smithereens and i doubt i will ever recover
Librarian here! It’s so awesome that you are promoting reading! Are you on goodreads? If so, I would love to follow you. If not, you should check it out. ❤️❤️❤️ you’re the best! ETA: when I watched til the end, I did see the mention of goodreads. Going there now!
I am currently reading "Where the Crawdads Sing" and so far I am enjoying it. That Nars palette is so tempting and I'm trying to not buy it because I have way to many palettes already, but......
If you haven't read My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante (and the other three books in her Naples series), I wholeheartedly recommend doing so - it's about female friendship, privilege, life choices and Naples from the 1950s until the 2000s, and got me through a very dreary Swedish February. Yes, four books is a lot, but so worth the time! And I'm of course loving your book reviews!
Some excellent psychological thrillers - I'm Thinking of Ending Things - Iain Reid (absolutley brilliant and unsettling, I think Netflix are making a series on it this year!) Sharp Object and Dark Places - both by Gillian Flynn who wrote Gone Girl
We are skin tone neighbours and I would love to see an update on the shades you like in the Reboot foundation! Even just on an instagram story would be greatly appreciated
I stumbled upon The Interestings a few years ago and it remains one of my favorite books! I then read a bunch of Meg Wolitzer's other books and didn't like them at all. It was really unexpected. A book with very similar vibes to The Interestings is Modern Lovers by Emma Straub. Check it out.
A kindle is practical, though ebooks are not good if you want to cross reference or follow up footnotes. You can’t beat being able to save your place with your thumb. Incidentally Accessorise do a very reasonably priced dupe of the necklace in their Z range and it’s available in smaller stores, too. Sorry to rabbit on about small town High Street availability but some people still do prefer to try before they buy.
After seeing you mention brow lamination on your Instagram I really want to to try it! Would love if you could do a post on it in the future. Thanks ☺️
All things Weleda, all the time. Their Arnica massage oil post epsom salt bath is completely revitalizing = life changing. Their lip balm. Deodorant. All baby products. Just sayin'. They are amazing. The Skin Food is their flagship product, for sure. A real crowd pleaser.
That palette does look pretty, I do love to collect a nice eyeshadow palette. I can’t see a review from Tati about it, I find Nars shadows tend to be pretty good
The Weleda Skin Food didn’t work for me at all. It made me greasy and then left me just as dry as before. I slathered my feet in it and put socks over top and left them that way for the night and there was no difference. It’s very overhyped in my opinion.
Totally get the Kindle. But if you "share your reads", please please please be aware the author will not benefit. It's getting harder and harder for writers to survive and these practices have really hammered them. Thank you
love the swimsuit! you look super hot in that photo btw haha also i wanted to know if you could update us on the backpack you took to holiday! how was it to carry and did the organization work well?
sad yes, but we gotta try and do our part for the environment... even little things like this. i've fallen in love with second hand bookshops recently!
lulu spence second hand book buying is great!! Being an author and releasing thousands of books into the world then saying it’s unsustainable is bonkers.
Anna - why do you put books in your Favorites but then say it's not your favorite? Maybe just put the books you think are amazing in your Favorites videos, and do a separate video where you dive deeper into each book you read through the month? Just friendly suggestions :)
Can't understand changing real book for kindle... not only it diminish pleasure of reading but also has negative impact on eye health :( like all mobile devices actually...
Kindle and other ebook-dedicated readers have e-ink screens that are black and white and the light doesn't hurt the eyes like regular tablets and phones.
Love that eyeshadow on you!
Also just noticed your pillow in the background has a face and now I can‘t unsee
🤣🤣 it so does!!
That is creepy! Well spotted
😂😂😂
Loooove where the Crawdads Sing, just one of the most beautiful writing I've read a while!
Your upbeat attitude in this video put a huge grin on my face, thank you Anna!
Anna! New Glossier Eyeshadows! Please do a review and compare them to the original lid tints!
I would love that too! x
She mentioned them on her IG stories! As far as I remember, she wasn't a huge fan of them. I think she said they're too sheer and prefers the Giorgio Armani ones!
Good morning. I'd enjoy an update on the brow lamination: do you love it, is it worth getting, etc.
Look forward to seeing your next video. ❤
Sat here with my very dry toes, I am disabled and my feet very dry. Within reach weleda skin food... Never trued it on my feet. As I type its on my feet.
Not got to books yet... My fav bit your book reccs are always on point for my tastes x
Just love these monthly favourites Anna. Really good book recs this month too 👍
I love your book lists, I keep adding items to my want to read list. Thanks!
The NARS palette looks great! Love the shades
Love this video! Feels like I’m talking to a friend and it’s the perfect way to cheer yourself up ☺️
I'm so glad you enjoyed my year of rest and relaxation

Great idea! Thank you

Just seeing Anna's lit🔥 face makes me feel so happy 🤗
The Audible version of Where the Crawdads Sing is perfection!!!😍
Truth!! Such a great listen 💯
Agreed. It was incredible. I would listen to it while walking the dog and it would make our long walks that much better
Always love your read recommendation! Xx
How many hrs do spend on reading each day? Love your book recommendations !! 💕
Yep. Still watching Anna!! Xxx
Need that gold bookmark in my life! The one the is in 'where the crawdads sing'. It is 😍🤩
I use the Weleda Skin Food Light as a daycream and mix the original Skin Food with the light version as a nightcream - my skin has never been better! I used to have oily/combination skin in my teens, but now at 22 it turned quite dry funnily enough and Skin Food was the only thing that helped this winter
I always like to hear what you read Anna..the crawdad sings looks interesting🤩
I LOVE psychological thrillers. Something in the Water and the Couple Next Door are both brilliant!
Absolutely love your book recommendations!
Off to buy the Nars eyeshadow palette, just like I bought the Huda palette you recommended. 😊 Also hilarious when you talk about your kindle hitting you in the face as you fall asleep. Anna "Well that was fun" 😂
Since We Fell, Behind Her Eyes, and All Is Not Forgotten are three interesting psychological thrillers I've read recently and would recommend!!
Have you ever read Never Let Me Go? It was also a movie with Kiera Knightly. But the book is better.
Does anyone know where that bookmark is from? I'm having the hardest time finding a beautiful, simple bookmark and Anna's is perfection!
You need to read "The Silent Patient" by Alex Michaelides!!! Very psychological thriller-y but with good twists!
LOVING your bedroom colour scheme. Where is the cushion and wall art from?
Just grabbed that NARS eyeshadow palette and cannot wait to play 😍😍
So late on this, but the Weleda foot cream is also really amazing!
I just adore you! I’m going to the library today and will be sure to see if they have those books you mentioned!

See Kae Style the blue light on them is adjusted so it won’t affect sleep.
It's definitely not like looking at a screen. And I read my kindle in bed every night before I go to sleep and have never had problems! It's hard to explain the screen as it's unlike anything else. Need to know your thoughts on the makeup forever foundation!!!
Loved The Interestings!! I'm currently listening to Searching for Sylvie Lee on audiobook--it's really good so far. Mystery that's told from three points of view and the writing is really good. :)
this made me laugh so hard about the book mix-up!! that is too funny
not sure if you have read this before, but 'an american marriage' by Tayari Jones is such a wonderful story of people and relationships and circumstances outwith your hands, as well as a fantastic story of race and being black in america! And 'where the crawdads sing' has broken my heart into smithereens and i doubt i will ever recover
The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks is a good domestic thriller. Also The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware
Great psychological thriller is The Silent Patient!!
More books! The Wife Between Us, In a Dark, Dark Wood, and The Suspect
Read The Silent Patient! EVERY person in mybookclub loved it
Where is your bookmark from? I love checking in to your social and UA-cam for your book recommendations!
Librarian here! It’s so awesome that you are promoting reading! Are you on goodreads? If so, I would love to follow you. If not, you should check it out. ❤️❤️❤️ you’re the best! ETA: when I watched til the end, I did see the mention of goodreads. Going there now!
Becky Shaknovich she is! Look up her book the Anna edit and you’ll find her profile through the author profile ☺️
Kathryn LoveJoy thank you! I should have waited til the end to comment. She did mention her goodreads.
The kindle link doesn’t work. Which one do you have?
James Patterson women’s murder club series! The first one is called 1st to Die it’s so good! 😌😌
I love the books recommendations :)
Anna you need to read The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks & Sarah Pekkanen . It’s fabulous!!!
Anything by K. L. Slater, Clare Mackintosh or Mel Sherratt. Peter James, Stuart McBride or Steve Cavanagh.
Where the Crawdads Sing is great!! So so lovely and sad and ooof..let us know what you think!
I am currently reading "Where the Crawdads Sing" and so far I am enjoying it. That Nars palette is so tempting and I'm trying to not buy it because I have way to many palettes already, but......

They're just incredible aren't they?!
Belle Taylor They really are! I’m still turning the story over in my mind, and recommending the books to everyone I know - such a well crafted series.
Some excellent psychological thrillers -
I'm Thinking of Ending Things - Iain Reid (absolutley brilliant and unsettling, I think Netflix are making a series on it this year!)
Sharp Object and Dark Places - both by Gillian Flynn who wrote Gone Girl
We are skin tone neighbours and I would love to see an update on the shades you like in the Reboot foundation! Even just on an instagram story would be greatly appreciated
Just a heads up, Kindle does not emit blue light, so it’s fine to sleep with. It’s backlit, super cool technology!
Psychological thrillers - the obvious ones are Gone Girl and The Girl On The Train - both worth the hype!
@Anna - try the Weleda lip balm, oh my word! ;)

You need a kindle cover so you can hold it like a book.It also protects your surface.
Are you going to try the new hlossier skywash eyeshadows?
I need another eyeshadow palette like I need a hole in my head but you may have convinced me to get the NARS one :)
You NEED to read The One by John Marrs! It's being made into a netflix series
You are ON IT in this vlog ! 💙💙
Energized as 🌌
Anna, where is your gorgeous bookmark ( 21:15 ) from???
That palette does look pretty, I do love to collect a nice eyeshadow palette. I can’t see a review from Tati about it, I find Nars shadows tend to be pretty good
Omg where is the gold bookmark in Where the Crawdads Sing from?? 😍 does anyone know?
I believe it is from a store called Georg Jensen, called the Shades bookmark. It’s still available!
Gina Swartzendruber thank you!
The Weleda Skin Food didn’t work for me at all. It made me greasy and then left me just as dry as before. I slathered my feet in it and put socks over top and left them that way for the night and there was no difference. It’s very overhyped in my opinion.
I always wondered why you didnt travel with a Kindle.
Anna can you please tell the name of your hair cut 💇🏻
Totally get the Kindle. But if you "share your reads", please please please be aware the author will not benefit. It's getting harder and harder for writers to survive and these practices have really hammered them. Thank you
💗💗💗
love the swimsuit! you look super hot in that photo btw haha also i wanted to know if you could update us on the backpack you took to holiday! how was it to carry and did the organization work well?
Anna I thought brow lamination was for those with sparse eyebrows
Why did my brain, when you said LBD in regards to the swimsuit, instantly turn it into "Little Black Dwimsuit"?... Honestly, I'd like to know 😂🤷🏻♀️
I just have to say, "tickling my pickle" made me lose it!
Ou might enjoy he said/she said by Erin Kelly in the psychological thriller genre.
It’s a sad day when buying a book is thought of as ‘unsustainable’
Right! &libraries are a thing.
It's tragic actually :( especially that all that electronic devices have such a negative impact on eye sight / health
Assuming people making videos implying books are unsustainable only produce ebooks??? No?? Ah
sad yes, but we gotta try and do our part for the environment... even little things like this. i've fallen in love with second hand bookshops recently!
lulu spence second hand book buying is great!! Being an author and releasing thousands of books into the world then saying it’s unsustainable is bonkers.
You being told to read the wrong book is just hilarious
Please do a 3 looks 1 palette with the nars afterglow. Please use the pink. Just an idea
Anna - why do you put books in your Favorites but then say it's not your favorite? Maybe just put the books you think are amazing in your Favorites videos, and do a separate video where you dive deeper into each book you read through the month? Just friendly suggestions :)

Some constructive feedback - I watch most of your videos but the huge overuse of the word ‘like’ is hard to watch!! I know we all do it!!
