Really good to see how many influencers are taking social distancing and isolation seriously, helping to make it the norm as there are so many people still not taking it seriously despite the current 'lockdown' state of things.
it's that some people just have a gut feeling something is not right... closing businesses no social gatherings check points to show ID sounds very totalitarian ,all for the greater good ...
starshine yes it is very scary. I’m a little biased I guess as my father is currently on a ventilator, I understand it’s all a lot to take on if you’ve not personally seen the effects of it
I's is so nice to get this sense of normality here, despite the current issue. Thank you for making videos, Anna! Oh, and I'm really up for some cooking-videos!
THANK YOU for actually acknowledging your privileged position. You are lovely, and probably the only influencer who has actually done this so far. Sending you love and luck.
So true!! They're all like rambling about how bored they are and they're using this time to think, read, do yoga, clean their wardrobe and be grateful blablabla... come on guys!!! Some of us have young kids they have to keep alive while working from home because our jobs doesn't allow us to stop... and we're getting nuts!! I'm seriously just losing my mind 🙃🤪 and also getting more and more anxious! I'm not complaining, it's stressful for everyone and some of us are giving everything they can to win this battle against this fu#"×ng virus (nurses, doctors, cashiers, etc.. ) gosh we just need this to end! 🙏
Hey Anna, I think this is where your content will really shine - you are the queen of structure, organisation and routine! Looking forward to more vids!
We've been in isolation for a week here in France, and I had planned to do things, like deep cleaning the house, sort out my wardrobe, do yoga and online fitness classes...but so far, all I've done is watch Frozen 2, Itaewon class (which is so good!), UA-cam tutorials on how to cut your own hair (probably not a good idea), and eat my weight in chocolate. Anyone else doing the same? I did buy your book though, maybe it will give me the motivation I need to actually do something. Anyway, keep up the good work Anna, and stay safe :)
Cindy We are in lockdown here in Germany for a week now too and yes just like you I was thinking I would deep clean the house, sort out all of that outstanding paperwork, go through my wardrobe, get my spring capsule in order and of course do some UA-cam fitness classes. I have done none of that, instead I keep scanning the news (definitely need to limit my news consumption) watching Netflix and snacking continuously. Thanks to Anna’s lovely vlog I feel much better and more motivated now 🙏 Thank you Anna for helping us through this difficult time.
Same 😂 working from home for a week now for an undetermined period, I wanted to do ALL the things but what I actually did was watch 5 movies and put 2 loads of laundry in the wash :)))
This is the kind of content I’m needing these days... It’s been so hard staying home and calm, but this video brought me some joy. I’ve got inspired and gonna get me cooking more often from now. I hope you and Mark and your loved ones are healthy and safe 🙏🏻 Hopefuly we’re all make it through this! God bless you! 💜
Oh my word Anna, i needed to watch this video -such an unsettling time we're all experiencing. i feel so much better.💕 Lotsa love from Australia xx Oh! And yes please - recipe for the Lemon loaf - im drooling. ooohhhh. . .how nice would it be with a cuppa. Sigh. . .gotta love the simple things in life😊
Hi Anna, question for food prep: do you plan out every single meal for a whole week, and then do your shop once a week? Even for baking projects? I'm trying to adjust to stay-at-home orders and go to the store as infrequently as possible, but I've never operated a food situation this way before, so any advice (even a full video?) would be great! Stay safe and be well!
I would love another bon appetit what I eat in a day. Thank you Anna for the calming content you and Mark always put a smile on my face. Lots of love from Italy
I've been doing Yoga with Adrienne every day since I went into isolation on Wednesday 19th, but this morning I left our back door open because it was so hot (we have a conservatory) and a neighbour's cat came in and tried to knock me over while I was doing plank variations!
Thank you Anna for giving us all your positive vibes during this time.... they are much needed, now more than ever. Keep healthy and try not panic about the adjustment to your routine!
Watching your vids is literally traveling virtually from Switzerland to the UK and spend the day with you 😍🤩🇬🇧 Thank you for all these positive energy, always 🙏🏼. Stay safe guys 🤍🌸💕🧿
I honestly think it’s the substitution for biscoff. I love biscoff too, but it won’t harden because it’s not got the high sugar/caramel content you need x
I have been sooo stressed lately, so thank u for this! Denmark went into full lockdown mode just as I left for Greenland to collect data for my thesis. Then greenland went into lockdown and I don’t know when I’ll be able to leave. It is ok as I am from Greenland (although I am not in the town where my family is) but staying with good and sweet friends. Things could be waaay worse but the constant feeling of being standby really messes with your head and makes it hard to concentrate on thesiswriting. Your videos Anna are a silverlining though - your good mood (and mark’s. Hi Mark👋🏻) is a light in this dark time!
Thank you Anna for staying positive and for the video❣️ I love your vlogs (with Mark of course, hi 👋🏽 Mark) and baking and cooking and eating content. 😋
loved this video anna! i love seeing blogs like this because it makes me feel a little less alone seeing other people practicing social distancing properly and being in quarantine! thank you!
Love your vlogs Anna, giving us a bit of normality during these unsettling times. You’re such a lovely lady for delivering food parcels to your friends x
Another wonderful video Anna 😊it helps to bring a smile to my face. I live in The Hague, the Netherlands and had to chuckle when I saw the Lotus spread. As an expat 🇨🇦 I love all these unusual spreads and “hagelslag” - chocolate sprinkles - that the Dutch put on their bread. I would love to try the lemon poppy seed loaf recipe. I’ve tried some of your featured recipes and they are 😋the toffee chocolate chip cookies have become a family hit. Take care and keep healthy ❤️
As someone that’s burnt many a loaf cakes I find cooking it on a lower temperature (around 160 o C) for a longer time (like 1 hour) seems to work 👌🏼 also I bought an in oven thermometer which has helped! Loved your vlog, especially the BA bakes 😉
You are a breath of fresh air Anna! Love your channel! You're a lovely person with many interests and talents. I love to see your cooking segments, makeup tutorials, reading selections, exercise, etc... Thanks for this video especially during these uncertain times it's wonderful to see you're optimism and enthusiasm. Take care 💖😘
Another way to stop burnt tops of loaf cakes because they have to go in the oven so long is halfway through to take a piece of foil and just drape it over the top to stop it from browning so fast. You just Open the oven door really quickly and throw it on without actually sealing it up
I loved the weekly vlog and seeing how you are handling everything going on! I would love cooking videos, more outfit videos, even some deep dives into books, skincare or beauty maintenance updates!! Xx
From one baking fanatic to the other: the Biscoff spread is called 'Speculoos' in Holland and it's made of dutch biscuits 'speculaasjes'. So you know! I'm sure your friends from Amsterdam can hook you up with some --once the world behaves normal again and we'll have our freedom back!! Also, hooray for you and Marc providing for your friends, so sweet! PS as a personal trainer and gym owner (from Amsterdam, now living in Haarlem) bodyweight home work outs can be very effective!🕊🌻
Day 10 of isolation and I was beginning to go a little bit stir crazy from the lack of routine and fear of the unknown, and then this vlog comes along and I feel ok again - thank you Anna!
Loved this video! I'm a nurse in Canada under quarantine (on day 3 of 14) because one of my patients tested positive. So I'm stuck at home all alone waiting to see if I develop any symptoms, and this has been a wonderful distraction! Please keep them coming! xox
I got so excited watching you use Lotus! Lotus is a huge brand here in Belgium! Apart from the spread (that you can use on bread), they also have cookies called 'speculoos'.
Lovely as always, Anna. Thanks for acknowledging things but also giving us a taste of normalcy. We all need it! Your friends are lucky to have someone like you in their life!
So nice to see ur sweet beautiful smiling face:)) im home alone quarantined bc of my autoimmune disease im under house arrest thanks for being here for me making great videos for me to watch love u and Mark too💕💕💕💕
Little baking tip for the loaf, try lowering the rack in your oven so the loaf isn't right up at the top. Usually middle of the oven is best. Also, lower temp for a longer period of time. It'll keep the outside from burning too much before the inside is fully cooked through. Lemon poppy seed sounds YUM!
This was a lovely video full of great ideas, a blessed relief to whats going on in the world. And I brought the "The Green Roasting Tin' based on your recommendation and it is sooooooo good. Every meal has been delicious.
Hi Anna! Stay safe! So nice you are helping others. Could you do more videos on maintaining clothes. Loved the video you dis months ago about that. Do you have any tips on steaming clothes? For some reason it doesn’t turn out well.
Aaallll the videos please! Love this one! You're so kind to your friends. I'd be so happy to receive home made treats. Stay well and more videos please 😁💕
The biscoff spread comes from a cookie that in quintessential for Belgium, the Netherlands, and north of France. One of the main spices is cinnamon. Original cookie is called speculaas or speculoos. You can find them year round, but there's a big variety during the winter months 😉. Enjoy the cookies!
Hey Anna, lovely to see a vlog from you, very much needed at this time. I’m happy to see any videos they’re are always great regardless of the topic. I hope you managed to salvage some of that loaf 🙈 I think those cookies would have been even more delicious with some chocolate chips added 😋 I hope you and mark are keeping safe and well 💕 xxx
@17:37 Someone needs to make a GIF out of that!!! Quarantine GIF material right there! Stay Safe Anna xxx If you feel like doing more videos, please do. It helps to see others in the same situation.
Thanks for keeping the videos coming Anna! A clothes maintenance one would be super helpful. And maybe, you and Mark could do some kind of pub quiz? Xx
Wonderful video 💜 looks like the butter flooded out of the cookies usually that means it was too high of a temperature, try a lower temp for longer and maybe move the rack down for less direct heat!
Hey, Anna loved the video! It was such a nice distraction from everything that is happening right now. I’d love to see more home vlogs as they are very relaxing ! Keep up the great work and stay safe! Lots of love from Greece❤️
I’d love to see more cooking videos! Btw you got me into bon appetit 😇 my kitchen has officially turned into my personal test kitchen 😉 keep doing what you’re doing, love your content! xx
I tried baking those cookies last week and they turned out exactly the same as yours did! Would love to know where I was going wrong. I thought maybe I should have chilled them for a lot longer.... like maybe overnight?
I’ve worked out more this week than I normally would. I normally go to the gym four times a week but I’ve done the Joe Wickes home workouts every day since Sunday and been out for a run twice (both times very early in the morning). I’m working from home as of this Friday but I’m planning on following the same routine as I would usually just to keep up a sense of normality. It’s a strange time but I’d rather be indoors and keep myself, my family and my community safe.
Anna, Dulce de Leche is pretty easy to make though it requires patience and time. As an Argentinean, I recommend NY Times' Melissa Clarks recipe www.nytimes.com/2016/03/02/dining/dulce-de-leche-alfajores-recipe-video.html :)
As another cookie lover, have you checked out Cupcake Jemma’s cookie recipes - she’s done Double Choc, and Birthday Cake and Biscoff! They are like the Levain NYC cookies!
Anna you can actually make dulce de leche from scratch and it's pretty easy, just takes some time but requires extremely few ingredients. I recommend looking up a recipe online because it holds up for a long time in the fridge and it has about a million uses, it's so god on crepes for example
Loved this video. Your cookies looked very odd :) but still looked delicious. Stay safe Anna and Mark - and yes, wherever we are in the world, we're in this together xox
"Way back in February." It's really does feel like a lifetime ago.

Ffion Alexandra lots of the instagramers are not taking it seriously. They are still going out daily to get their fashion shots
@@victoriamaule9354 that's a shame, it' still good to highlight and support the ones that are though.

Yoga with Adriene is so great. She has such a positive kind energy.
Its been my go to when I want a 'routine' rather than just to do some yoga. The sun salutation one is now saved 👍
Oh my word Anna, i needed to watch this video -such an unsettling time we're all experiencing. i feel so much better.💕 Lotsa love from Australia xx

Sick of reading - cat was making sure you did not do a Downward Dog? Lucky you for such a cheeky visitor.
My cat currently has a better social life than I do 🤣.

You always have the most relaxing and calming demeanor that I love! Stay safe and sending love from California💗

You are just so charming Ana. I hope everyone you love is doing well
Use the loaf batter in cup cake cases ... Cooks quicker and they should rise more. They put the frosting on top. Happy to try samples!!

I’ve been waiting for the lemon loaf recipe since you posted it on your insta story!! Super excited!!
I’d love a video on the best way to do a closet clean out and what to keep and what needs a new home. Thanks!
Make muffins with the same recipe or use the lower rack . The frosting sounds yummy 😋
Good morning, Anna. Thank-you for this weekly vlog. Your friend's are lucky to have you & Mark to help them (baked goods and all). ❤

Yes to the sweater combing vid!!
nice to sit down and watch your video , gave my whole house a good blitz so that was my workout for today x

I’d love to see more cooking videos! Btw you got me into bon appetit 😇 my kitchen has officially turned into my personal test kitchen 😉 keep doing what you’re doing, love your content! xx
I would love to see a video of how you maintain/take care of your clothing, especially all your knitwear and jumpers!
Biscottis spread is the best! I can go through that jar way too quickly 😅 crunchy one is heaven! X
Do you wear a workout watch band or stick with the gold one all of the time?

Absolutely love your hair!💛
This vlog was just what I needed. Thank you, Anna
Thank you for this vid hun. Always a delight to watch
I loved all of your video ideas at the end. Would also love to see a day of your fave selfcare.
I really relate to you in this video because I also did a HIT workout yesterday and didn't have the right weights so I used a wine bottle! :)
Hope your both staying well and safe, great video those cookies looked so good, xxx
More cooking videos please !! Love from France :) Take care !
