It’s not that. NCT127 is one of my ults. I love all subunits including Dream more than Ive and the new, manufactured BTS. I think Dream had better music than both those groups this year. The scoring though? Mathematically impossible for Dream to win. It had to be rigged, or else they were going by a different system than the one made available to the public. I’m sorry 😢

Artist when performing live mirror the energy of the crowd. So if the crowd is more reserved you're most likely going to get a less energetic performance. If the crowd is going crazy, screaming, singing along, and dancing you usually get a energetic performance. That is just the reality of the situation.
Cause seoul was their first day after so long in front of such a huge croud and it when in europe they had already covered america so they already accustomed to the stage plus hong kong tour was the same level as europe one
Let's be honest, Wonyoung is literally a person who focuses on every detail in front of camera. Even her eating style is a bit weird and cringe for many people, but this is not a reason to hate on someone for. She's primarily hated for being the company's favourite member. Everything accumulated from that to being cringe, and the way she disrespects the seniors by not bowing to them as she should. The last behaviour is understood to be hated on for, but eating is something subjective. You cannot hate on someone for the way they eat! Sometimes, I can understand people's attitude towards Wonyoung ( not the hate tho ), but sometimes it's just so stupid. I believe that jealousy sometimes can really be a reason for hate.

In the case of jennie, I just want to say that a performer *can* show enthusiasm and energy while performing, regardless of the place and destination he or she is. A better stage presence doesn't necessarily means open-ess in certain areas of costume. A idol can still be energetic and give his /her best performance without being bold in terms of outift. Giving a good performance isn't all about being bold and sexy, you can still perform good by putting your effort in dancing singing and on stage, not just by being hot and sexy and all.....
So in my point of view... There is not really a excuse for her.
Showing what you got behind the dress doesn't make a good performance. Atleast for me.. Loving your work and pouring your passion in it does

Nope. The music is just too lit and if you're not being talked about then you're not making waves. Plus this is all small detail stuff. We have worse here in the US with artists getting murdered, indicted for trafficking...its all perspective.
Yeahh. Why can't we just love them for their songs and albums like we do for western artists? The way kpop artists are shown to the public is problematic, it grows obsessive fans naturally. It's kind of discreetly playing with our psychology. Why is dating such a big issue here and not in the west? Same reason. They even refer to artists as 'idols'.

They too have similar conservatism but I've seen their artists be a lot more frank to each other and no one cares about their personal lives. And for the second thing, I'm speaking from experience, I went through a very obsessive phase over an idol once and I'm still affected from that. It wasn't easy to overcome. That's why I like to stay away from kpop now except for the music

Wonyoung is literally doing her job. Like it’s her job to be beautiful and take beautiful pictures and she does a great job. I think releasing a behind the scenes of a pizza commercial was a bad call but that photographer got what he needed in five minutes and she did a great job.

But those sales make up 60% of the award. I did the math on Reddit (I’m a statistician and was a high school math teacher up to trig/pre-calc). There was no mathematical way for NCT Dream to win that award. It would have been mathematically impossible-even if they got 100% of all the other categories which can’t happen anyway because someone has to come in second.

On day 1 Seoul jisoo was a whole complete mess, she was unsynchronized and forgot lots of dance moves through the tour but still she gets a pass but people come for Jennie's throat for slightest mistake even tho Jennie has stated many times she gets tired easily as has weak body and stamina, she even told that she's always sick. In their last tour she went backstage in so many shows because she was unable to perform but people choose to ignore and hate.

Tbh alot of Wonyoung's and Jennie's criticisms have well founded merits, but the backlash is too extreme like what you pointed out. Its sad that we are quick to dehumanise the idols in question and criticise too harshly, hopefully we quickly learn to not go overboard and maintain a basic level of respect for the idols in question before another tragedy happens. That being said, it doesnt mean idols should get a free pass from criticism, its truly sad that majority of kpop fans today are either extremely hateful or extremely defensive over these idols, it would help if everyone remained rational and stick to respectable principles when responding to alleged controversies.

Yes as a singular person you can be extra or on a solo shot from a group but NOT when taking picture/video with/of the group. Being to fake and/or extra in a group is of bad taste.
