Sharing some similarities to the images of famous Kpop idols will of course help attract lots of attention, and even good reactions. However, just like the saying goes: “too much of a good thing is harmful,” a scary criticism wave is rising and drown these KOLs.
So who are these KOLs and why did they (allegedly) copy Kpop idols and ended up receiving an unpleasant fate?

I find the Allissa Shin - Rosé case is the weirdest. Like it's totally okay for girls to take inspiration from idols, but here, Allissa said she barely knew Rosé, however, she just undeniably looks so similar to Rosé. Hmm... What are your opinion about this case? 😕😕😕

Song Jia is a famous beauty guru before and in 2018 when Wonyoung debuted they were articles that call Wony as "FreeZia look alike" and Jia acknowledge it, and she is actually so honest about her ps and she said she did it in Middle school since she was always bullied for it

First, Crystal did not deserve that much hate, she was just doing a makeup tutorial for Irene's look for that era. Second, Wonyoung was said to be a "Jia lookalike" they even interacted! As for the Rosé's "copy cat" I think she is trying to imitate a little bit of the "Rosé image" (at least in my opinion.) I believe, she pretends to not know of Rosé but is actually inspiring most of her posts on Rosé's posts.

Jennie is Kpop idol, kpop idol's work is to influence people so don't be shock or mad when someone is copying your favorite kpop idols.
Exactly, Jennie makes it a trend. And people buy it/wear it since it's an "It" item at the moment. Also, brands send the same items to a whole lot of celebs. So, It happens a lot that a bunch of celebrities wears the same stuff.

Just because her friend did a cover, doesn't means allissa knows blackpink especially rose. Also, should I remind you that pinterest is full of girls who looks similar with your faves, even before your faves debuted. I think crystals case is really wrong. I've seen couple of her videos and vlogs, she never talks or mentions 'irene' often. As a make-up specialist, she can transform herself to anyone she wants no one has got the right to stop her. There are plenty of other you tubers who do the same. It's nothing wrong with it! Gate keeping in K-pop is so toxic it actually takes the fun out of it. I don't understand why people feel the need to attack these influencers considering there are hundreds of businesses that sell clothes & make-up so you can dress and look the same as your favourite idol. Sending de*th threats to these influencers because they admire or look and dress like an idol is a level of stupidity that is exasperating.
I think even tho they look like Kpop idols, which is not bad, but they should have their own colors, even though they are normal people. No one should try to be someone they're not.

Honestly, there is no problem wearing the same outfits as someone else. A problem only arises when someone wears another person’s couture (custome made clothes). Brands always make multiple copies of the same clothing piece, why does it anger or suprise anyone that people would wear the same pieces.

The 20 items that are alleged to be fake, only 6 items were proven fake and she didn't even bought those. She just had to wear them because it was only given to her. So she also didn't know that it was fake. Everything she bought with her money were real.

I’ve followed Alyssa and yūn for a while now and the more I got to see their personalities through social media I don’t think they look as much like rosé or Lisa. I started following them bc they looked so similar and it was wild to me but after a while my brain couldn’t comprehend it they way I did when I first saw their photos. 1. Liking the same brand as an idol = copycat
2. Having same aesthetic as an idol= copycat
3. Having slightly similar features as an idol= copycat (even tho that’s the most common thing on earth,thousands of ppl looks alike)

The truth is that I think that none of them deserve the amount of hate they receive, especially from the Korean public since wearing designer clothes, having a perfect image and in general trying to imitate the style of idols is a trend that everyone try to follow. They have a great obsession to achieve that image because that would make them feel admired and accepted. But when they see someone else get it and gain fame for it, they do their best to humiliate and insult them. And it really is very hypocritical and sad of them.
