I think you should keep posting this new kind of video, as a weekly-based (like stamp news or updates). But please don’t quit your traditional season’s style episodes, they are unbeatable!!!
As always, your videos are fun to watch and informative. Nice to see Laura (the power behind the throne, no doubt). Thanks for sharing the great links in the description.
I have only found you on UA-cam about 3 weeks ago so have binge-watch all your seasons and another video, the information you give is priceless I love your this video and great to see your wife, the new format works for me keep up the great work

I love your work!!! Great job!!! This year marks my 40th year as a stamp collector/philatelist and would NEVER give it up!! (I don't even have to or need to!!) :) :)
That is awesome! Congrats on the milestone, undoubtedly the coolest hobby to keep up with and enjoy. And yes 😃 I am very lucky to have Laura, thank you so much!!
Great job Graham! Love your new office area. You've made the space very nice & shout out to Laura, who keeps your stats correct. Good job Laura. I'm so happy & glad I found you...I'm learning so much & can't wait to start my philatelic journey!
I like your new setup Graham, it looks super cool! I’ll miss the “Exploring” videos, but I can totally understand the travel aspect of it would be a heavy burden. I hope you can still do occasional videos like that, just with digital travel (like seeing the Great Wall outside your window). I like the vlog pilot, and I hope you can do some interviews or collaborations with other philatelists. Thanks again for getting me into the hobby! :)
I agree with Patrick, Graham, Maybe once in awhile you could “travel” somewhere “outside your window”...you’re good at camera tricks; you could make it happen, I’m sure,
I have appreciated your videos since the first season. I'm a big fan and like so many here believe that the format in the Exploring Stamps video was secondary to your personality and presentation. Glad you'e giving something new a try, I will definitely be among many people watching.
I for one will miss your Exploring Stamps series, they are the best videos on UA-cam (after mine of course :-). I do like your idea for the vlog and getting people more involved. My request would be to see how you organize your collection.
Hello, Graham! I am a new collector and I just LOVED your original format. It really helped me to learn a lot in a short period of time (I basically have watched all of your videos in just the last few weeks). I am equally as excited about, and looking forward to, this new format. All the best!

Hi graham. I’m so happy to see you back. I’m a big fan and have watched every episode of Exploring Stamps. I was sad when you said you wouldn’t be doing another series, but completely understood. I look forward to more of these, and anything else philatelic you post or recommend. Happy to meet your wife/camerawoman, Laura.
~ Wonderful pilot, Graham!! There IS so much you can cover even at home and you already did share much info in this first, new vid. I like the google fillers, haha! Nice new room & stamp canvases you had made! Love the navy blue walls! (blues are my fave colors)! Fun fact: The longest stamp was issued on my birthday!! Cool, cool! :D Saw the turquoise mug in ad on the side...darn, I missed it when I ordered the black one. Maybe I’ll have to get it too! I wore the ES tee the other day & it was comfy. :) Ok, I should stop now...lol

Good on you for knowing when to press pause on the old-style videos. Sometimes, projects started for love can quickly become obligation, and then the love is gone. As usual, watching your videos makes my day. I love the Exploring ones but also recognize it's hard to travel these days and it's not cheap. Having said that, love this option and looking forward more from you.

I loved the original series that explored the story or history of a specific stamp, it is definitely what gets me excited about stamp collecting. It was cool when you went travelling around the world to show the sites depicted, but not necessary. If possible, a smaller segment that still focuses on understanding/explaining the decisions that made the stamps in the first place in the new format would be appreciated. Thank you! The Romanian episode was an emotional one to research and produce, I found it to be an incredible event to learn about. Thanks for watching :)
Great. As long as there is a lot of stamps and you presenting them, any format is great. Thank you for your efforts. Still hope for the exploring Stamps episodes once in a while as well.
Nice ! When I first saw the term 'Vlog' in the title I winced because it evoked a horrifying anticipation of being subjected to a rambling stream of consciousness replete with real time gaps in thought on full display. This was nicely structured and edited to present a coherent and entertaining piece, yes !
Hi Graham. Love your new direction here. From your recent APS talk I discovered just how many hours and hours it takes to make the Exploring Stamps videos, so I understand the new approach. I think it's a great move for bringing the worldwide stamp community together in an online forum. One suggestion: why not have a 'slot' in future videos for subscribers to send in their own 60 second videos on something in their collection? Maybe you could announce future themes in advance and get subscribers to share their short videos, social media stamp posts or even send you some items based on the theme which you could work into the video. Part of the fun would be seeing how you build the theme around contributions and partly to see if what has been submitted makes it into the final edit. I definitely want one of those Penny Black masks! Take care and best wishes!
I like the new format, not better or worse than the original, just different, in a good way. Actually the more I watch your videos the more inspired I am to make my own.
I have neglected my collection because I've focused on getting space event covers signed by Astronauts, space scientists and engineers. I enjoy Postlandia site about post offices.
I think this was existing and a great turn on your channel Graham. With your ability to communicate this will help and guide old and new collectors in the world of #philately. Also the technical quality of your vlog/programs are excellent. (I guess you have had a look at P. McKinnon and the likes) I look forward to the next episodes. And great to se you supporting wife Laura to. I guess she deserves a lot of thumbs up for getting the channel to the level it is today. And I guess you (the two of you) will produce some episodes where you travel and share #philately the "old style" when it suits so. Lot of thumbs up from Norway
Hi Graham. Thank you the oppertunity to watch your videos, last year inherited a huge family stamp collection from all over the world Oh boy I’m in 70,s retired business woman who still seeks challenges in life and I think I’ve learnt more about the world in the last 9 months than I had in 70yrs loving it have some fabulous stamps and covers so would love to share some with you and your viewers. Only Just discovered your channel & have liked all I've watched so far. This vlog eems like a really nice idea. It's almost like an old-fashioned fireside chat. Thanks & keep it up!
Hi Graham, Hi Laura (nice to be introduced officially). Love the way you put your videos together and as an avid collector I find them both enjoyable and informative. I look at UA-cam all the time, but as I'm old and not a Techi (don't know if that's the right word or in the right context) I do not (wouldn't know how to begin) use twitter (couldn't even tell you what it is really, I certainly don't know what a Vlog is), but I do know stamp collecting can be a lonely hobby, especially if no one in the family is interested. Sadly searches on UA-cam seldom turn anything up that seem worthwhile (except yours of course), so I will be watching your channel with renewed interest. You have given a couple of channels I can explore, and I will go to them after this. As a collector with limited funds, some of the stamps I need to further my collection are beyond my financial reach, so for the last few years I have been searching the internet for a 'Swap Shop' where I might be able to trade my stamps on a like for like basis. The bulk of my collection is GB Victorian which is substantial both in terms of variety and value, but I have not been able to find a suitable site in which to trade, so if any visitors to your site could recommend I would appreciate it. Good luck Graham and Laura and I look forward to your next episode.
Definitely come and visit thedigitalphilatelist.com - I have explanations of what each social media platform is. Do you use Facebook? A lot of people use Facebook to swap/exchange. :)
if you keep getting material thats interesting...its worth watching, also keep it about realisable stamp collecting i e stuff that folk can afford! well done!
I'll miss the exploring videos, they were fascinating. I always wondered how you could afford to put so much time, money and effort into those videos. The vlog pilot was great, looking forward to see more like it.
This was good. But I will miss the traditional exploring videos, they were so great that I'm used to watch them over and over. Love to see your wife in this pilot. Please make her smile more often
Great...you are back again.Future eg on doing would be 'countries' that collectors collect....Choose the most common first...ex BRITAIN, GREECE, USA, CANADA, etc then say a few uncommon ones...
Hello Graham, I very much like the new format where you can discuss a lot more about not only the stamps, but also about the blogs, communities and much more. However, could you please chip in some videos like in the older format? A bit of both would be even more exciting to have in my opinion.

Lot of thumbs up from Norway

I enjoy getting lost in your (very entertaining) stamp videos
Thanks Mark :). Glad you enjoy the channel!
Only Just discovered your channel & have liked all I've watched so far. This vlog eems like a really nice idea. It's almost like an old-fashioned fireside chat. Thanks & keep it up!
Ooo, a fireside chat... I like that :). Thanks for watching Gareth and I am glad that you like it!
I am looking forward to more episodes!
Tis was a very good show and very enjoyable.. I will be waiting for your other future videos.
Thanks David, more to come :)
YES...!!! More...!!!
Will do! :).
Thanks for introducing me to the world of philately. Love the vlog.
Glad to have you in the philatelic community. Glad you like the vlog :)

Thank you Bernardo :). Glad you like it!
love the new videos! Keep up the good work buddy :)
I'll miss the exploring videos, they were fascinating. I always wondered how you could afford to put so much time, money and effort into those videos. The vlog pilot was great, looking forward to see more like it.
Thank you Kristiaan, 😆 yeah totally pushed it with the time money and effort, but lets see where this series takes us. More to come!
Really interesting Graham, I'm very excited for the new direction that the channel is moving in!
Great! Thank you Oliver, I am excited as well :)
This was good. But I will miss the traditional exploring videos, they were so great that I'm used to watch them over and over. Love to see your wife in this pilot. Please make her smile more often
I like this new format and it is great seeing more interaction with the audience. I would love to see a fan mail video or something related to that.
Noted! Glad you like the new format 😃. Thanks for watching.
Nice, I follow philatelovely in Twitter. used to upload some indian stamps in the Alphabetic Stamp Series.

That was enjoyable. Like having a friendly chat with a good mate. PS: Have you been watching the England/Pakistan test series?
Ive been seeing the highlights, now the T20s have to avoid the rain...fingers crossed. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
@@ExploringStamps HA! In addition to stamps, you've got me watching cricket highlights, too!
I haven't been collecting for long but I luv it
hope to see more interactions. first day covers and stamps always fascinate me...
☺️ More to come! Thanks for watching.
Thank you Avik, glad you like the new format. Definitely something I will consider, lets see where this series takes us 😊. Thanks for the support.
Have enjoyed your previous shows as well as your new vlog. Informative with a good sense of humor. Keep up the fine work.
Thank you Mark! will do :)
@@ExploringStamps An interesting program could look at stamp inventory software, I have been using EzStamp from Softpro for a number of years now. You can download a free sample. Works very well for my needs. Probably others out there as well.
Great new format, Graham. Love it. But, about that Hungarian dinosaur sheet. Was that really a signature, or a pen cancellation?
Ah, 🤔. Is not every pen cancellation technically a postman’s signature? 🤔
@@ExploringStamps postmen do make such initials to be a part of ones collection...
.......and P.S. I will continue to support your channel whatever you decide to do!
You're the best! Thanks so much!
