Thanks for this video, guys! I've lived in Vietnam for the past 3 months, as well as in Phuket (didn't like it) for a month, and have been wondering whether to go to Bangkok or Chiang Mai over the "winter" months while Vietnam enters rainy season. What you're saying rings true to me, and makes me super happy about my decision for Bangkok. Would you mind sharing some tips on where to look for condos, how to find them, whether to use an agent or not, whether it's easy to rent or needs a lot of paperwork, and most of all, how best to go about visas? Do you have to do border runs a lot? Thank you!
Hi brother, we have a consulting service if your looking for advice and contacts, you can reach us on the Facebook fan page. As far as Bangkok goes, i think it's a good choice if you can deal with the higher cost of visas.
Doesn't matter. Both are safe. There won't be many jobs in cnx are highly competitive for peanuts. Bangkok is probably better for opportunities. I have a consulting service for employment contacts. Can pm me if that's of value.

Great Video, guys very helpful
Thanks
Really enjoyed the perspective
I am glad
We just got back , visited both we loved bangkok and we're from a small NZ town so not city people , but Chiang mai was cool
We lived in Wellington for 3 years. Thailand and really all of SEA offers much more value for your money than NZ but for sure different lifestyle
Chiang Mai is nice but you are right, the Bangkok transport system is super nice.
For sure, both have pollution in Bangkok. You can hide in malls and a metro. Live above the 10th floor,no mosquitos, etc.

I fully agree
I think I might prefer Bangkok
I do also, but cnx is really a lot smaller for some people that works better
Which one would be better for a single female teacher?
