One thing that you could have mentioned is that technician also powers of false swipe meaning balloon gets a little bit of extra viability as your designated catching partner
Yeah, that's definitely an option. I personally use Poison Heal Breloom to catch difficult things or Shiny Pokémon. I like Shiny Hunting, and I want the Pokéball to match the pokémon. Since the ball I'll be using will often be for aesthetics, rather than practicality, I'll often be in long battles trying to make a Shiny get in a x1 catch rate ball. Given all that, I want the longevity for long hunts, especially with the timer on Shiny Sandwiches. Don't want to dig in the bag to heal status or HP. - Spore for sleep. - False Swipe because, of course. - Swords Dance so that if the pokémon spams Rest or other healing moves, I can immediately always bring it to 1HP with just one False Swipe and win the PP war. Last slot is flexible: Drain Punch/Seed Bomb for if I accidentally get in a trainer battle. Bulk Up if the shiny hunt target is a high level physical pokémon with healing (like a Shiny Dondozo with Rest). Charm or Fake Tears to bring the catching target to -6, and mitigate damage. Though, all this information is a little more than "the basics", so it's probably good I left it out.
What style of Breloom do you prefer?
This series is gonna be extremely useful 👌🏻👌🏻

This a great Pokémon that can easily become broken if it had 10 more base speed
Imagine a blade type. That’d be pretty sick. Or like a Virus type?? I think that would be really cool.
