not really, lets take lvl 3 g soldier for example, its takes 0.8 seconds to finish the burst (8 shots with 0.1 firerate, doesnt count RoF bug) and 1.2 seconds to start another burst, overall 2 seconds for burst and cooldown, with lvl 4 commander, the time beetwen shots will decrease to 0.8, or 6.4 for a burst, and cooldown from 1.2 to 0.96, so burst and cooldown combined will be 1.6 instead of 2(w/o RoF bug), which is exactly 25% increase in dps note that math was done w/o counting RoF bug, and gso affects more from this bug than gs, so in fact, gs get more buffs from commander

Golden soldier costs almost 2 times more than a golden scout and if you get 2 max golden scouts instead of 1 max golden soldier they will do more dps ,I prefer golden scout because its so easy to spam him.
Golden solider is my first golden tower and at first, I was really sad that I got it. But after using it in game it changed my whole opinion on it. It does close to the normal minigunner's dps while being much cheaper. I just love it!
5:36 not the mention that in certain maps, 8 Golden Soldier + supports like commander and DJ especially, it can kill a tank. Yes, a high speed, High hp TANK dies to 8 Golden Soldiers. Not to mention that they cost 9k each with the DJ discount on max. If this tower is spammed, it can be devastating to enemies in fallen mode.

Comparing max Dps just aint fair due to the much higher cost of golden soldier. Max level Dps per $1000 for golden scout is better aswell meaning the comparison isn't equal.

If so, max golden soldier deal 120 damage withing it's to burts AND that means that 12 of them gives 1440 dps total. This is without call to arms as well. You do be stupid as heck, soldier doesn't complete a whole burst in one second to say that he does 120 dps, dps is DAMAGE PER SECOND and soldier completes a burst in around 2.2 seconds, divide 120 burst dmg by the 2.2 second it takes and you get around 54.5 dps times 12 is around 655 dps
Gold Scout is better for 3 simple reasons which is, it is better in the early game and nobody uses Gold Solder or Gold Scout in mid or late game because they're just not very good. Therefore unless you want to jeopardise your chances of winning by using gold solder in the mid or late game scout would be better. This is also very unrealistic, having no farms and having 12 max solders before about wave 30 (were it becomes borderline useless) is very difficult because you are mainly focusing on accel.
I dont have g soldier but i do have g scout so i do this in like every fallen game Wave 0-4 place 3 lvl 0 scouts and farm Wave 5 place a lvl 1 scout and farm til wave 7 Wave 7 upgrade the other scouts to lvl 1 and get another lvl 1 scout and then farm til 10 Wave 10 upgrade one scout to lvl 3 and farm til 13 Wave 13 upgrade another scout to lvl 3 and set it to strongest then farm Wave 18/17 upgrade rest of the scouts to lvl 3 and farm Wave 20 Just get an accel or engi alr

In my opinion, the golden scout outclasses golden soldier in early game, because it can be spammed very easy and its very simple to use. Golden soldier is of course better as a backup dps if you have placed all your heavy units down, however in rare occassions where u dont need to worry about tower placement limit max golden scouts can be spammed easier and faster for dps. Golden soldier is simply better for solo games and team games, especially fallen. In solo you can easily max your heavy towers (accel/pursuit/ranger etc.) and need to spam lighter towers towards the end. Golden soldier also has some good attributes like flying detection and better range which can really help on harder gamemodes. On the other hand, golden scout is way better for speedruns, special events and easier gamemodes. Its all because of his pure value and amazing accessibility, he's very cheap with reliable dps and can be spammed in the early game as either the main defense or support. Overall, i think its just a matter of what gamemode are you playing. both towers are great early game defenders and have their own perks. I still prefer golden scout even after the various buffs golden soldier has received. 4:01 While they both make it to wave 7 with 600$ spent on them, 5 lvl 0 golden scouts, or 3 lvl 1 golden scouts can do just fine and you only need to spend 350-450$ on extra defense, while with soldiers you might need to get another lvl 0 soldier which costs 475$ 4:13 Well, lvl 2 soldiers are way better than lvl 2 scouts but you dont necessarily have to upgrade them to lvl 2. I tend to upgrade 1 scout to lvl 3 instead. He has 13.19 dps which has OVER 3x better dps than a lvl 2 scout, while his cost is only 2.81 larger. Besides that, his dps to cost ratio is around 5.67:1000 while a lvl 2 golden soldier has 5.58:1000 dps to cost ratio. Its not much of a difference but it proves golden scouts can do just as good on waves 13-15.

Ok so here's my personal opinion of when I would take each one of them: Golden Soldier focuses in early and mid game and does decent in late game not to mention it has a little bit more range than G Scout, I would mainly take it for solo games, special maps like badlands II where range can be fully used and rarely for duo games Now Golden Scout also focuses in early and mid game but it's late game damage can be pretty low, the only advantage is that G Scout can be spamed and can clear waves faster than G Soldier, I would mainly take it for duo, trio and quad games where late game damage is not a problem Btw I made this before watching the video so I'm gonna see if we have the same opinion lol
i do have to agree that there is no more need for late game dps regarding duo trio and quad games, but u also mention that GS is able to be spammed more, whikh is also good for solo bekause we have 40 tower limit, just wanna point that out.
Bro forgot to include the fact that commander's buffs is much more effective on golden scout compared to golden soldier. Golden scout is also about half the price of golden soldier which is why I think golden scout is better.
Its really shocking how golden soldier went from a disappointment to something so versatile and useful anyways here are my opinion about both of them based on my experience Golden Soldier is Really good for hardcore when paired with something like pyro giving you time to farm + you said you need 4 soldiers for Shadows, however in good maps like crossroads or something with a long bend that utilizes the golden soldier range to its full potential, you only need 2 for wave 13 and 3 for wave 15. Golden soldier is just generally better. Gso Still has his flaws like being outclassed by Electro,Ace and Pursuit in Pizza Party Golden Scout despite being a lot less powerful still has some uses like Lost Souls, Quickdraw, PW2 and Speedrunning. His cheap cost also comes into play which makes him easy to spam (although i dont recommend spamming him). His main use is being a cheap early defense, A great choice nonetheless.
Gso doesn't get outclassed by electro and pursuit, electro is a late game tower, and pursuit is extremely unreliable, has no hidden, and can't be used early, theres no comparison between gso and pursuit at all
Yes the golden soldier is better but normal loadouts are : farm, early game tower , support, and 2 late game towers so you won't actually place 12 scouts or soldiers, if you have golden mini gunner you can replace them in the late game.
This is usually true in Quads, but in Solo you would have 2 support towers and only 1 late game tower so after placing accelerators you could probably fit in 6 or more golden soldiers.

And I beat fallen easily. Yes it works, but with the g scout I use g mini instead of pursuit because g scout has low DPS max lvl.

If anybody wants a good idea on cash to DPS ratio, for every 1000 cash spent on a good tower you should get 5 DPS, if it is more than 6 the tower is a good DPS tower, if less than 4 it is a bad DPS tower
G-Scout has Lead Detection 3+ G-Soldier has Flying Detection 0+ If you're playing HARDCORE and want to FARM efficiently, it's best to use both. Both are excellent towers for the early game, setting the stage to FARM better towers later on. I have both 😁
i'd say gold scout is better because if something sneaks past, you can place a max g scout almost instantly compared to g soldier, which costs a lot more.
Golden Scout is better for games that are significantly lacking in money like trio hardcore. If you are attempting duo hc, or even solo, golden soldier might be a better choice. In conclusion, golden scout is a lot cheaper than the golden soldier, consider wave 25 on hc mode, only 3 golden scouts are required if you wanna take down 3 shadow bosses. That means golden scout might be a solution when it comes to economic problems.
But you don't have to place all 3 golden scouts in the early game a single golden scout can beat wave one and you can buy a farm and just keep farming and place another golden scout untill you need more. You can both get a g scout and a farm on the first wave and still have 200 left
The max gold soldier is 11k whereas the max gold scout is 6k. For every 1 gold soldier is around 1.8 gold scouts. So the scout is more cost efficient as you wouldn't have enough money for 10 gold soldiers if there is 8 max accelerators, but enough for 10 gold scouts. Then again, it depends on your playstyle or strategy.
Gold soldier is good at 10-20 while gold scout is good at wave 1-10 and if you have gold towers you probably will farm heavily so gold soldier is probably a bit better in the long run
To be fair no matter what the crate costs 50,000 coins for like +1 damage and if you want to buy the coins with robux it’s going to cost 4,250-4,500 my point is some times good things are nice yet anoying to get
If you do an overall comparison like this guy then Golden Soldier takes the edge but in all practicality, Golden Scout is just better. Its wrong to say they are about the same in the early game because the Gscout has better DPS/cost and a lower cost denominator meaning its more likely you can afford them quicker instead of having to save. With Gscouts you can also just buy 1-2 before the game and get earlier farms while only losing a few lives, but snowballing your money which is not an option for Gsoldier
But it wouldn't be so correct to say that they are different because they are early game towers, and basically in the end when you have better defenses they will leave, their costs are almost the same xd
when i first got golden soldier i wasnt mad. it was the worst golden tower but it was in some way useful for farming solo fallen as it was like a cheap militant
I think golden scout is better for early-mid game, because of its incredible cheap price with nice DPS, while the golden soldier is better for mid-late game as it had a good DPS and decent price, and could handle hidden enemies very easily. Overall, both of them are really good towers tho.

This video feels strongly biased, thouh i might be too biased as i dont have golden soldier You didn't mention single lvl 1 golden scout can carry until the slow enemies in fallen with very few leaks(and you can afford that because in mid-late game anything that leaks kills you) because he 2 shots all of them. Which is cheaper than just placing down a golden soldier, or that a lvl 3 gold scout 2 shots hiddens and hefties in fallen mode. Even though i still think Gold Soldier would have won, all you did was compare total dps and dps/cost ratio along with how they perform against hiddens(you could have considered the boss that comes before them or mystery zombies). And i dont think comparing 2 similliar towers based on 3 things is enough to actually be sure which is better, i would really like if you went way more in depth and try to utilize both of them to their biggest potential

golden soldier performs worse than golden scout on early waves. scouts can spawnkill enemies, while soldiers need time to finish their bursts and you can't get many of them on early waves. using scouts is more efficient in terms of speed, while using soldiers is more efficient in terms of late game dps.

To be honest I might rather have gold scout because you can place 1 gold scout and 1 other cheap tower

Ok so here's my personal opinion of when I would take each one of them:
Golden Soldier focuses in early and mid game and does decent in late game not to mention it has a little bit more range than G Scout, I would mainly take it for solo games, special maps like badlands II where range can be fully used and rarely for duo games
Now Golden Scout also focuses in early and mid game but it's late game damage can be pretty low, the only advantage is that G Scout can be spamed and can clear waves faster than G Soldier, I would mainly take it for duo, trio and quad games where late game damage is not a problem

Bro forgot to include the fact that commander's buffs is much more effective on golden scout compared to golden soldier. Golden scout is also about half the price of golden soldier which is why I think golden scout is better.

Its really shocking how golden soldier went from a disappointment to something so versatile and useful anyways here are my opinion about both of them based on my experience
Golden Soldier is Really good for hardcore when paired with something like pyro giving you time to farm + you said you need 4 soldiers for Shadows, however in good maps like crossroads or something with a long bend that utilizes the golden soldier range to its full potential, you only need 2 for wave 13 and 3 for wave 15. Golden soldier is just generally better.
Gso Still has his flaws like being outclassed by Electro,Ace and Pursuit in Pizza Party
Golden Scout despite being a lot less powerful still has some uses like Lost Souls, Quickdraw, PW2 and Speedrunning. His cheap cost also comes into play which makes him easy to spam (although i dont recommend spamming him). His main use is being a cheap early defense, A great choice nonetheless.
Gso doesn't get outclassed by electro and pursuit, electro is a late game tower, and pursuit is extremely unreliable, has no hidden, and can't be used early, theres no comparison between gso and pursuit at all
Yes the golden soldier is better but normal loadouts are : farm, early game tower , support, and 2 late game towers so you won't actually place 12 scouts or soldiers, if you have golden mini gunner you can replace them in the late game.
This is usually true in Quads, but in Solo you would have 2 support towers and only 1 late game tower so after placing accelerators you could probably fit in 6 or more golden soldiers.
@@jacenmeckler4725 I actually don't play quad I only play solo fallen and duo fallen and you don't need 2 supports my loadout is farm, g soldier / scout / cowboy, dj, pursuit, accel. And I beat fallen easily. Yes it works, but with the g scout I use g mini instead of pursuit because g scout has low DPS max lvl.

If anybody wants a good idea on cash to DPS ratio, for every 1000 cash spent on a good tower you should get 5 DPS, if it is more than 6 the tower is a good DPS tower, if less than 4 it is a bad DPS tower
G-Scout has Lead Detection 3+
G-Soldier has Flying Detection 0+
If you're playing HARDCORE and want to FARM efficiently, it's best to use both.
Both are excellent towers for the early game, setting the stage to FARM better towers later on.

i'd say gold scout is better because if something sneaks past, you can place a max g scout almost instantly compared to g soldier, which costs a lot more.
Golden Scout is better for games that are significantly lacking in money like trio hardcore. If you are attempting duo hc, or even solo, golden soldier might be a better choice.
In conclusion, golden scout is a lot cheaper than the golden soldier, consider wave 25 on hc mode, only 3 golden scouts are required if you wanna take down 3 shadow bosses. That means golden scout might be a solution when it comes to economic problems.

The max gold soldier is 11k whereas the max gold scout is 6k. For every 1 gold soldier is around 1.8 gold scouts. So the scout is more cost efficient as you wouldn't have enough money for 10 gold soldiers if there is 8 max accelerators, but enough for 10 gold scouts. Then again, it depends on your playstyle or strategy.

Gold soldier is good at 10-20 while gold scout is good at wave 1-10 and if you have gold towers you probably will farm heavily so gold soldier is probably a bit better in the long run

To be fair no matter what the crate costs 50,000 coins for like +1 damage and if you want to buy the coins with robux it’s going to cost 4,250-4,500 my point is some times good things are nice yet anoying to get
If you do an overall comparison like this guy then Golden Soldier takes the edge but in all practicality, Golden Scout is just better. Its wrong to say they are about the same in the early game because the Gscout has better DPS/cost and a lower cost denominator meaning its more likely you can afford them quicker instead of having to save. With Gscouts you can also just buy 1-2 before the game and get earlier farms while only losing a few lives, but snowballing your money which is not an option for Gsoldier
But it wouldn't be so correct to say that they are different because they are early game towers, and basically in the end when you have better defenses they will leave, their costs are almost the same xd

I think golden scout is better for early-mid game, because of its incredible cheap price with nice DPS, while the golden soldier is better for mid-late game as it had a good DPS and decent price, and could handle hidden enemies very easily. Overall, both of them are really good towers tho.

You didn't mention single lvl 1 golden scout can carry until the slow enemies in fallen with very few leaks(and you can afford that because in mid-late game anything that leaks kills you) because he 2 shots all of them. Which is cheaper than just placing down a golden soldier, or that a lvl 3 gold scout 2 shots hiddens and hefties in fallen mode.
Even though i still think Gold Soldier would have won, all you did was compare total dps and dps/cost ratio along with how they perform against hiddens(you could have considered the boss that comes before them or mystery zombies). And i dont think comparing 2 similliar towers based on 3 things is enough to actually be sure which is better, i would really like if you went way more in depth and try to utilize both of them to their biggest potential

golden soldier performs worse than golden scout on early waves. scouts can spawnkill enemies, while soldiers need time to finish their bursts and you can't get many of them on early waves. using scouts is more efficient in terms of speed, while using soldiers is more efficient in terms of late game dps.
